"Could you still stand still by yourself?" Mo Shiyan asked, his voice filled with concern.

Jiang Zihan nodded slightly when he felt a bit better. Then, using the strength of Mo Shiyan’s arm, he was able to stand up straight. "I’m okay. Hurry up and check what your rank is," he said with a weak voice. The next moment, he still felt a bit dizzy and lay beside the wall.

Jiang Zihan’s magical energy had drained when he was training in the Illusion Arena’s training field before, but he had never had such a feeling.

Mo Shiyan did not move. Instead, his gaze was fixed on him until Jiang Zihan gently pushed him on the back for him to hurry up and test his ranking. Just then, Mo Shiyan walked forward and placed his hand on top of the Awakening Stone. Unlike what happened to Jiang Zihan, the second Mo Shiyan’s hand touched the stone, it immediately glowed brightly.

"S... S-Rank Hunter?! Another one?" the teacher exclaimed in shock. She had been teaching at the Interstellar Ice Hunting Academy for over ten years, and this was the first time she had ever witnessed two students awakened as S-Rank Hunters one after another.

Mo Shiyan lowered his hand and looked toward the teacher. "Are we done?" he asked, his voice sounding indifferent, as though he did not care about what the results were.

The teacher quickly nodded her head and said, "Follow me. I’ll update your student records, and when you have time, remember to go to the Hunter Center to register as an official Hunter as well, just to make sure that all the information matches up."

Mo Shiyan nodded his head gently as he turned toward Jiang Zihan and suddenly carried him in his arms in a princess carry.

Jiang Zihan slowly opened his eyes. Seeing this, he quickly struggled in Mo Shiyan’s embrace and commanded with a weak voice. "Shiyan, put me down!"

"Don’t move," Mo Shiyan said as he held him tighter. "Your magical energy had been completely drained. You could barely even walk, am I right?"

Jiang Zihan wanted to talk back, but because he knew that Mo Shiyan’s words were correct, he fell silent for a moment before choosing to accept fate and closing his eyes. Then he buried his face against Mo Shiyan’s chest and comforted himself that as long as no one saw his face, then no one would know that it was him.

But it’s still very embarrassing!

Mo Shiyan carried him to the school infirmary and told Shen Qingci to take care of him before he quickly went back to the admissions office to get everything else done.

The teacher quickly updated their records on the computer before handing them the keys for the dorm and the Student ID. Then she once again reminded them to go to the Hunter Center before class starts and allowed him to leave.

On the other side, Jiang Zihan seemed to be sinking deep into his own consciousness. He looked at the surroundings and felt confused as he found himself back to that space once again. Then the stars seemed to spot him and quickly surrounded him.

The stars were of different sizes, all hurrying beside him. They tentatively touched him gently, and after understanding that he wouldn’t resist, they drifted even closer toward him. Jiang Zihan felt a bit surprised at how welcoming they were, and reached his hand out to cup one of the tiny stars in his hand.

For some reason, he felt that the star seemed to be pretty... excited?

It rolled across his hand, as if bragging to the other stars. Before he could think further, another star suddenly charged over and knocked the one in his hand aside, shamelessly taking its place.

The star that was pushed to the side circled around Jiang Zihan a few times, wanting to fight back. However, after realizing how large the new star was, he could only float away unwillingly.

Jiang Zihan: "...?"

Why did it feel like they were... vying for favor?

After observing them for a while, Jiang Zihan lifted his head and looked around. Although the space looked exactly the same as before, he had a weird feeling that there was something wrong. However, he had already unlocked the new ability; where did this space still want to guide him?

Just as Jiang Zihan was still confused about the situation, the stars that were originally circling him suddenly stopped their movements in mid-air. In the next moment, they suddenly floated together and transformed into a path paved with starlight that extended toward the empty space.

Jiang Zihan floated a bit closer, wanting to see where it led, but could only see endless darkness. He frowned a little as he slowly floated backward. Although he was a bit curious, he cared more about his own life, and his instincts seem to tell him that there’s something dangerous coming from the end of the path.

However, the moment he planned to turn away, several of the stars floated in front of him, blocking his way.

It seems like this space doesn’t want me to leave.

Realizing that fact, his frown deepened. However, after hesitating for a while, he still turned around. He tentatively stepped onto that path before stopping. At the same time, the starlight beneath his feet lit up, as if urging him to move forward.

Feeling a bit helpless, he had no other choice but to walk forward. Fortunately, the path wasn’t as long as it looked. Not long after, he had reached the end of the path.

He looked up and saw a platform that was formed from condensed starlight. He slowly walked forward and realized that in the center of the platform, there was a light purple star floating above it, which looked different from the other stars. "This is...?"

He stared toward the star and was totally attracted by it. He reached his hand out and uncontrollably wanted to touch it.
