Michael looked at the projection of Draco and realized that it had a startling familiarity to the real thing. It was as if it was a true clone of Draco!

"HAHAHAHA! Couldn’t get enough of me fighting you, huh? I won’t lose this time!"

Draco conjured his blood spear and charged towards Michael. The sharp weapon came towards him at a speed extremely similar to the real thing!

Michael twisted his upper body just in time as the blood spear pierced towards him. Its sharp edge almost nicked his neck!

"Woah! ChatJK6, that looks a little bit too real," he said.

[Practice won’t work if it’s too easy,] she said. [Do not worry. I will stop if you are almost close to death.]

"Close to death?!---"

He didn’t have time to complain about his AI assistant before Draco unleashed a flurry of attacks with his blood spear. Each of them were quick, their speed upped to the point where they were blurring.

Michael let his instincts take over for him, just like his duel with Draco.

And he was able to dodge them, albeit barely. However, Draco’s movements were far too fast and far too fierce for Michael to even think about a counter attack.

Not only that, but he was getting pushed further and further away.

Clone Draco summoned blood spears in the air, seemingly from out of nowhere. He seemed to once again use his Aubility Power and his Nascent Influence to bleed his surroundings and make use of their blood to create his own weapons.

It only took seconds for hundreds of them to appear and surround Michael.

Being cornered like this, Michael attempted to use his Nascent Influence to fight against Draco, just like he did before.

[I have disabled your use of Nascent Influence for this fight.]

"What?!"

[This sparring will be useless if you only rely on your power. You will need to learn how to win against someone like Draco using only your Unity Saber if you want to improve.]

Michael didn’t even know that she could do that!

[If you would like to get rid of this limiter, you only need to overpower the commands with your authority,] ChatJK6 said.

And even though she was supposed to be a neutral voice in his head, he swore he could hear a tinge of sarcasm in her tone. And if she had a head of her own, he could totally see her rolling her eyes at him.

Although he wanted to complain, he knew that she was right. If he wanted to learn how to use his Unity Saber properly, he had to use only his weapon to win this fight.

No using of his Aubility Power or his Drones or his other myriad of spells to win.

And although Michael didn’t want to admit it, in terms of pure swordplay, he knew that Draco would have beaten him easily.

He grumbled under his breath as four blood spears rocketed towards him. He bent his body and stepped sideways, letting them pierce the ground underneath him.

Five more blood spears came in quick succession, forcing him to take a step back.

Then, on the corner of his eyes, he saw two more blood spears shimmer as they began to load up and rocket towards him.

Michael was going to dodge and take a step back, when he realized that he had no ground for him to retreat!

He was already at the edge of the floating island!

If he took one more step backwards, he’d see himself falling into the depths of darkness. And he knew that in this reality, even his powers of flight wouldn’t save him. He would get sucked down by a strange and unknown force.

Now, back during his journey in this Antique, he was able to retreat back into the world after he jumped into this void.

But that was only after he completed the puzzles that it had for store.

He wasn’t sure if this void worked the same as the last one. Perhaps, it had only lulled him into a false sense of security before taking the rug right under his feet when he realized that jumping into the void won’t end in his return to the real world, but end in death instead!

And even if he jumped into the void and ended up returning to his world, he knew that if he did so, he’d waste this Antique.

He wouldn’t get to go back here. He wouldn’t be able to find out what kind of test and rewards that this Antique had in store for him.

So, he had to stay here until he figured it out.

And there was also one thing he realized.

Time didn’t flow here exactly the same as in the real world. A day here could mean only a second there!

Meaning, he could use this time to finally shore up on his training that he’d been lacking his entire life! He could spend an entire month simply practicing his swordplay, and he wouldn’t miss a thing back in the real world!

This was an advantage that he would never want to pass up.

In fact, he may not want to go back at all! Knowing about the trials and tribulations that he would have to eventually face against the Conglomerates, he knew that he’d have to properly prepare himself as best as he could.

And this Antique provided him that, even if it’s not intentional.

So, all in all, he was glad that the monolith had no test for him. He would want to spend a lot of time practicing his sword skills before he found himself ready to go back to the real world.

Michael raised his Unity Saber and deflected the blood spears coming his way.

A smile flashed on his face.

"ChatJK6. Don’t hold back. Simulate Draco with the highest degree possible. I want you to challenge me as best as you can."

[As you wish,] ChatJK6 replied.
