Reborn as the Genius Son of the Richest Family

Chapter 1111 Delivery spree

Chapter 1111  Delivery spree

It was absolutely insane to see people spend more than two or three tokens at a single restaurant. The Feast was designed so that people would be able to take a taste of a variety of food from every walk of life, ranging from the countryside to the elites.

Perhaps only the Conglomerates were able to consistently have their customers spend more than five tokens at their restaurant. But that was because they offered a lot of amenities in their restaurant.

However, the McTony’s Restaurant didn’t have any of that. They just sold fried chicken and a few other exotic food choices.

They were absolutely gobsmacked to find out that people were buying multiple orders of the same food.

And when they asked the customers themselves, they were shocked to find out the reason. It’s because they could do so!

The fact that the kiosk was designed to be as appetizing as possible helped with this phenomenon. They were perhaps the only restaurant in the Feast who had their entire menu displayed in an interactive display, one where the customer could actually see what they were trying to order.

Even though they could only eat a few of those, they didn’t care. Their stomach was making the choices for them.

“This is crazy. But where do they store their customers?”

The spies kneeled at their Upper Echelon Patriarch. “That’s the thing, sir. They don’t have any.”

“What do you mean?”

“They aren’t accepting any customers inside their restaurant. And judging from our current investigations, it seemed that they turned the whole place into a giant kitchen that is working nonstop.”

Multiple Upper Echelon companies were wracking their brains as to how the Reborn company was doing this. This delivery system… it was very strange.

Somehow, they convinced their customers that their food would just… magically appear at their doorstep? How could they be trusted?!

“Give me an estimate. How much have they earned this morning?”

“… our estimates suggest that they have earned… a million tokens already.”

The Upper Echelon Patriarchs gasped at this number. This was absolutely a shocking amount. It hadn’t even been a few hours since the Feast started! And already, they gained a million tokens?!

This didn’t make sense. Just yesterday, the McTony’s Restuarant reported around 400,000 tokens, which wasn’t bad, but it also wasn’t good.

They estimated that this was their limit for the entirety of the Feast. But just this morning, they broke that limit with seemingly no signs of ever stopping!

This kind of performance was even outdoing the Upper Echelons in the top 20!

Those in the 3rd and 4th circle were caught off guard by this sudden change. Somehow, their customers were choosing to go to a restaurant in the middle of the Feast rather than eat at their favorite spots!

But strangely… that wasn’t the only anomaly in the Feast.

Somehow, their customer base was lower than what was expected.

It wasn’t a small dip. Their overall customer was 20% lower than their previous day!

This shouldn’t be possible. After all, it was very well known that the customer base would increase with each and every single day in the Feast. Once it got closer to the ending, the more the crowd would visit. But for the first time, the number of customers dipped.

Even the Zentmeister Patriarch was dumbfounded. “This isn’t caused by the Reborn company. There’s something else…”

There were only a few reasons that could cause this. A different event.

Only a different event like Rivet’s lecture would draw people away from the Feast.

But… there was no currently ongoing event other than her lecture. She was still teaching the general public about automobiles back in the Colosseum. But those people were accounted for.

The crowd who were supposed to be in the Feast, were nowhere to be seen.

Where did they go?

It wasn’t until the Upper Echelons looked outside of the box (literally) did they finally realize the truth.

All over New Sparta, they saw a large group of people gathering at a single spot.

And when they investigated, they found a peculiar obelisk-type structure in the middle of the crowd.

It was the same kiosk they’d seen back in McTony’s Restaurant!

“Hey, I got here first! Miss, I want to order 10 orders of McTony’s Fried Chicken!”

“You cut the line! I wanted to order first!”

People were jostling each other just to be the first one to order.

“Dear customers, there’s no need to fight with each other. Every one will have their orders,” the Rebornian attendant assured them.

With a bit of guidance, the queue in the kiosk moved at an incredible speed.

“Patriarch, there are tens of these kiosks all over New Sparta, each with a large number of people crowding them.”

The Zentmeister Patriarch couldn’t believe what he’d heard.

“This doesn’t make sense,” he muttered. “Why are they buying tens of these fried chickens? I’m sure it’s good, but even a glutton would get full by the third chicken.”

They just couldn’t understand.

Meanwhile, Michael watched the number on the TV screen go up by thousands and thousands with each second.

This was the counter for the number of tokens they’d earned from the kiosks.

“Two million tokens… in half a day…”

He and everyone else couldn’t believe it. He didn’t think that their kiosk would garner that many customers so early.

But thanks to his Rebornian allies, things went even more smoothly than he thought.

“Our customers are spending a lot of tokens with each purchase,” Castelle happily reported.

Michael nodded. “Yep. That’s the advantage of take-out orders. You satiate a whole family’s hunger.”

This was one of their marketing strategies. Make McTony’s restaurant as the premier family food that could be eaten during special days, normal days, and anything else.

He closed his eyes and focused on his Mini Drones.

Right now, thousands of his Mini Drones helped deliver food to their customers.

And with their camera, he could see the happy expressions of little children as they opened their doors and saw a box of smoking hot fried chicken at their doorsteps.
