Reborn as the Genius Son of the Richest Family

Chapter 1054 Maugnetic Mankey

Chapter 1054  Maugnetic Mankey

Kong closed his eyes. Even though no one blamed him, he took responsibility for the destruction of the automobile factory.

He could have done more. If he had just reinforced the walls with better materials, if he had incorporated a little bit more defenses, if he had warnings and extinguishers in place, he could have prevented this entire thing from happening.

Boss Michael entrusted this job to him. And he failed. Plain and simple. Because of his mistake, Rebornians could have died. His allies and friends were hurt!

He had to be better.

And in that moment, he felt something inside him stir.

Michael felt the change in the air. He looked down at his feet, his shadow inventory having been summoned of its own will.

The GodForge pieces were knocking, begging to be let out. He let them.

The tenebrous hole in the ground began spitting out flaming white flaming stars.

Then, these individual drops of GodForge began to move towards the Yellow Mankey. They were attracted to him, and as if they were caught in his gravitational field, they began to fall conically towards his chest.

Michael and the rest of the Chief Officers of Reborn marvelled at this sight.

“BU TO TO! A birth of a new comrade!”

“RAH TA TA! Hahahaha! I knew this would happen! I’ve always felt that Kong was one talented Mankey!”

Soon, Kong’s heart was satiated of its hunger. A small part of its exterior was now coated in a shiny, metallic surface akin to that of aluminum. It was just enough for the 1st stage of the Body Formation realm.

Then, a subtle shockwave. A misty constellation of lights began to gather above his head, before condensing to form a gigantic baboon with a bustling modern city perching atop its head.

It was a Diva!

Kong slowly opened his eyes, his irises now showing a different kind of light than before. It seemed brighter too.

“Boss Michael! At your service!” Kong said, kneeling towards him.

Once again, he was bequeathed a power that he did not deserve. He was given a second chance to right his wrong, make it so that his work of arts wouldn’t be destroyed ever again.

“How do you feel?” he asked.

Kong looked at his hands. “This is truly magnificent, boss. I feel as if my mind has expanded a hundred times as it was before.”

This was the second non-combat Maugnetic to awaken for the Rebornians. Michael still didn’t know a lot about their capabilities, but he was sure that an expanded intelligence was just one of the side-effects of awakening. Kong must have a different power altogether; he just didn’t know it yet.

“Kong, can you help us figure out our next move for the automobile factory?” Michael asked, nudging the Mankey’s intuition.

Surely, his Aubility Power had something to do with engineering and city planning, like his talent.

And just as Michael thought that, Kong suddenly raised his head in a sudden realization.

“Yes, boss!” Kong replied.

Then, he raised his hand and began molding the very air in front of him.

Michael’s eyes widened as he and the others began to see a solid structure form under his gentle molding. It actually looked like he was a god molding the world itself!

This wasn’t magic. Kong was actually changing the air into a completely different structure entirely!

It seemed that Kong wasn’t even aware that he was doing this. He was so excited and caught up in his own work that he was completely entranced by himself.

Eventually, almost half of the room was occupied by a giant concrete building that had some similarity to the Automobile Factory from before. Except, there were some noticeable differences.

The previous factory was simply a rectangular box, focusing entirely on practicality over aesthetic.

But now, the building looked like one of those highly artistic structures that fully expressed the architect’s vision and creativity, essentially becoming an engineer’s nightmare.

It looked hard to build. But the fact that Kong built it using only his hands and the air meant that it was a lot more feasible than Michael thought.

“It’s done, boss!” Kong proudly said.

The new Automobile Factory was basically a mobius strip: a single strip of building that had a half twist that made it have only one edge and one side.

“It looks beautiful,” Yuna commented.

“Thank you, miss boss! It is not only beautiful but practical as well,” Kong said.

The Yellow Mankey used both of his hands and created a large split in the Mobius Strip Factory.

And through this midsection, they were able to see the entirety of the building’s interior.

Everyone was shocked to see a functioning mini-sized factory line inside!

At the very top of the Mobius Strip started the process of creating an automobile. And as it passed through the perimeter of the Mobius Strip, its parts were created, molded, and painted until it was fully assembled back at the top of the strip.

Michael picked up one of the finished cars inside. It looked realistic in his hands, as if an automobile was actually shrunk into a size that could fit squarely atop his palms.

“We will be able to create a thousand automobiles in a single day,” Kong announced.

This was a big upgrade! Before, they were only able to produce a hundred! This would literally increase their profits tenfold!

“Not only that, but each section of the Mobius Automobile Factory is entirely separate from one another. Meaning, if one is caught on fire, it will not spread to the other side, making repair a lot easier.”

Michael didn’t know how Kong did it. This kind of design literally looked impossible. How could each section be separate from each other like lego bricks and still be as stable as it was?

But then again, Maugnetics were known to not be tethered by reality. They made their own.

“But of course, this is just in the worst-case scenario. I’ve incorporated a new kind of defense in order to protect everyone inside…”
