Chapter 846: Creation of a Promised Destiny... Part-3.

Purple thunder, imbued with the purest power of the ’Origin,’ fell from the sky onto Ivan’s body and bombarded him hundreds of times until his body was completely shattered.

But of course, Ivan had already made preparations beforehand.

After his body shattered into pieces, the pieces merged with the remnant power of the origin left behind by the heavenly thunders and flowed into the empty circular pool.

Together, the shattered pieces of Ivan’s body formed a lake of wishes! As a witness to his friend’s great sacrifice, Marik made sure to watch it all happen with his own eyes until the very end.

Just when Marik was about to leave, a glowing ball of light rose from the heart of the lake of wishes and entered Marik’s body, granting him all the information that Ivan had obtained at the cost of his life.

"The Sword of Promised Destinies... I see, no wonder you were willing to make this gamble... If King Allen really manages to obtain a power like that... it might really be possible to save our universe..."

No one knew what information Marik had received from Ivan; he only told King Allen about the methods of creating the ’Sword of Promised Destiny.’

But for some reason, Allen had a feeling that Marik wasn’t telling the whole truth.

Soon after Ivan’s death, Marik became even more powerful than before in a short time, and his eyes seemed to always be glancing towards the stars on the horizon from that day onwards, as if he was waiting for something.

King Allen did not press Marik further for information as the sudden death of Ivan hit him and Bela even harder than Marik.

Both of them felt like they had lost a part of their soul after Ivan’s death, and the desperation to save the world became even stronger in their hearts.

With three out of five members of the first golden generation already dead, the strong party of members that had Allen conquer the world no longer existed, and he knew that he was running out of time.

With each passing year, the world was running out of time as the looming threat of the ’God of Decay’ was getting stronger and stronger.

Unfortunately, the five conditions that were needed to forge the ’Sword of Promised Destinies’ were extremely difficult to fulfill.

The first two conditions that required the support of the heavenly will, the laws of the world, and the ’World’ itself were easy to fulfill for Allen and Bela, but the rest of the conditions were difficult even for them.

The third condition stated that the soul of an individual with an ’Ascended Soul’ ability was required as a sacrifice, and unfortunately, at that time, Bela was the only person in the universe with that ability.

Waiting for someone else with that same ability to appear would have taken thousands of years, but the universe did not have that much time left as the Sea of Miasma was expanding at an astonishing rate!

It was clear that the more the sea of miasma expanded, the more unrestricted the ’God of Decay’ would become.

Sooner or later, the restraints placed on the other party by the ’laws’ of the world would become so weak that they would no longer be able to stop him from descending on this world.

At that point, the world would ’End.’

To prevent such a situation from happening, Bela happily agreed to becoming the sacrifice.

With a smile Bela spoke.

[O Hero of Prophecy, O Fated Miracle,

Do not falter, My sacrifice is for the world,

O Hero of Destiny, break all shackle,

Do not regret, my dream was always to save the world,

O Hero of Fate, assume your mantle,

I, Bela Anant, ask thee, please let me play my role,

Let us rise together to save this world!]

From the very beginning, from the day Bela chose to save that dying flower in the her parent’s flower garden, she had always known that her destiny was to dedicate her everything for the world and bring hope for the future.

Bela always knew deep down that her existence was bizarre from the very day she awakened.

Allen was the chosen one of both the heavenly will and the world, and yet, Bela was living in the same era as him despite being a ’Blessed of the world.’

In a sense, she could be considered half a chosen one.

The universe had created Allen and Bela and made them exist around the same time period, which was simply too bizarre.

Bela knew how difficult it was to create even a single chosen one, and yet, the world had created two of them at the same time.

This was no mistake; this was preparation.

The world needed a half-chosen one like her to make a choice that Allen could not.

The world needed Bela to sacrifice her existence and burn the power bestowed on her for the sake of helping the real chosen one ascend to the high heavens.

This was her destiny from the very beginning, and she had known it all along.

Thus, when the day of ultimate sacrifice came, Bela did not falter in the slightest and embraced it all with a smile on her beautiful face.

"I shall become the sacrifice needed to create the ’Sword of Promised Destinies’..."

Allen could not refute Bela’s words, as he himself knew that this sacrifice was necessary if they wanted to save the world.

He wanted to deny this reality from the very bottom of his heart but was powerless to do anything against it.

As a ’Hero’ burdened with the responsibility of saving the entire universe, the mission of saving the universe came first; any human connections, any friendships, or any family issues were secondary to him.

As they say,

’A villain can sacrifice the world to save their loved ones, but a hero can sacrifice their loved ones to save the world.’

Just like how Allen had chosen to put his parents to rest with his own hands, a similar choice has come knocking on his door once again, and his answer was the same this time too.
