Chapter 870: The Dragon Festival’s End
Chapter 870: The Dragon Festival’s End
Up in the sect master seats, Tim sat on the ground, drawing circles on the platform. "Why are you sulking? You knew this was going to happen. Since you were little, you doted on your sister like no tomorrow. I even thought you were a siscon."
"Grandmama! I am not a siscon!" Tim yelled out, giving Kana an aggrieved look. His grandmama always teased him about this. He just cared a lot for Sara because she had suffered so much when she was younger.
"Hehe, siscon." Angelica giggled, causing everyone else to laugh. Tim did not even react. He dared not to, or he would just get teased more.
"Angelica, I wouldn't talk because you always stuck to Rain like glue when you were little. You were always trying to make Rain happy." Kana teased, causing Angelica to blush.
"So what? I love my sister. She is the cutest. Now I even have two more cute sisters. Speaking of this, Mama, when are you gonna give me a little brother?" Angelica asked.
Kana tapped her chink and swung her feet back and forth before looking at Creige, who looked back at her with a slight grin causing her to giggle. "When we leave this world and begin moving towards our old universe. I still have one more thing to deal with here before we head out, but I want to make sure our cultivations are high enough. Then your Handsome Papa and I will work hard on making you a little brother."
"Mmm… I can't wait." Angelica smiled. She couldn't wait to have a cute little baby brother to dote on. But then something dawned on Angelica. "Wait, Mama, if you do not have a baby boy the next time…."
"I will keep trying until I get one!" Kana replied with a bright smile. Criege crossed his arms in front of his chest and nodded.
Angelica held her head. Did her Mama think she was some kind of baby factory? "Just so I know, how many more brothers and sisters do you plan to give us?"
"Hmmm? A universe full? I want a huge family. A family where we can all be happy and enjoy life together." Kana answered honestly. She wanted to give life to as many children as possible and even take in more kids who needed a mama and papa. She had already discussed this with Creige. And they decide to keep expanding their family as much as possible.
Angelica looked over at Rain and Yana, who both smiled and shrugged, and then at Bell, who was muttering something about needing to make some baby clothes and shook her head. This family was all about being together and supporting one another. This was why she loved each and every one of her sisters, her Mama, and her Handsome Papa so much. Although she never even thought about starting a family herself, she wondered if she would find someone she would love later on in life.
"Hoho… I can see it now. A whole realm of Kana's offspring running around causing trouble." The old man cut in with a jolly laugh. He looked fondly at Kana as a father would at his daughter. He had watched her grow up so many times, but it seemed she was finally living a perfect life. "Oh, it seems the next match is about to begin."
"Oh! Sara and Ako will fight." Kana smiled and stared back down at the stage. She already knew the outcome of this battle.>
Down on the stage, Sara stood there looking at Ako, who was across from her. She played out many scenarios in her head and knew that each outcome would result in her being beaten up like her Mama. Just as sect master Tian was about to start the fight, Sara suddenly raised her hand. "I concede to my Aunty Ako!"
Bell watched her daughter give up just like that and held her head. "I really need to teach her a lesson on not bullying the weak and giving into the strong."
"Hahaha! I knew this would happen." Kana held her stomach, laughing. She watched her family closely every day, so she knew their personalities well, and Sara was one not to fight a losing battle. This was actually not a bad trait, but she also needed to not give up so easily either.
Back on stage, sect master Tian looked at Sara and asked: "Are you sure?"
"Yes. I can't beat her. So no point. Plus, it doesn't matter which one of us wins anyways since it will be our sect as the champions either way." Sara replied.
"This is true. Since that is the case…. I now announce that the sect to win the Dragon Festival is Moon Crest Academy! And the champion of the festival is Ako! This concludes this time's Dragon Festival." Sect master Tian announced.
The crowd cheered and began screaming congratulations to the cute slime girl causing Ako to blush. She quickly ran off stage and returned to Kana's side, not wanting to deal with the hoots and hollering. Kana also took this chance to tease her, saying she now had many suitors if she wished to get herself a husband.
But with everything that happened during this tournament, everything came to a peaceful close, and the results were just what the sect master wished for. He looked at Kana with a grateful expression. Because of her, his sect now stood back at the top.
"Oh right…." Kana suddenly turned and spoke to the sect master. "When we get back, I need to talk to you about something."
"Oh? May I know what about?" The sect master asked.
"Same thing that had happened earlier but on a larger scale. Plus, I wished to do a few other things." Kana replied. She planned to go into an extended close door cultivation with her family. She did not plan to come out until they all reached the max level for this plane. She would then set out to search the lower plane for demonic qi to raise their demon cores cultivation. If she can't find enough on this plane she would just head to the next.
