Xuexue consoled her, saying, "Zi Xia, don’t be impulsive. Visitors are guests, even if others are impolite, we should not imitate them."

Zi Xia cast a vicious glance at the old maid and remarked, "People who do not treat themselves as outsiders, what manners do they speak of."

Especially Gu Lingqiao, relying on her childhood friendship with the Prince to nearly assert herself as the Princess Consort in the mansion.
