Chapter 2293 Doesn’t Lose.
Chapter 2293 Doesn’t Lose.
Little Alauna’s battle intent soared.
The 108 000 stars around her formed an impossibly complex formation, filling her body with strength far beyond the normal realms of the mortal plane.
“[Sacharro’s Might: Formation of Stars].”
Her naming sense hadn’t improved even by a small margin in the past several centuries, but her power was on a completely different level. She hadn’t managed to break into the fourth facet, but she had found other ways to improve her power by leaps and bounds.
Her will to see her father again burned like the fiery depths of hell. There was no avenue she left unexplored, no stone that she left unturned. If there was a chance for it to increase her battle prowess so that she could grow stronger, it was impossible for her to have not considered it.
This formation was what she landed on. In the past, controlling just ten stars was already extremely difficult. Even back then, she was nearly unmatched within the dao realm. But now… She controlled thousands.
Like a goddess of the stars, she stood amidst them with an undying will for slaughter, her momentum still continuously building.
She roared, her scythe swinging forth and shattering the space that lay in her path.
In one moment, she was countless light years away. In the next, she had appeared amidst the void beast’s tentacles, slashing away with a violent, bursting strength.
Limbs with the power to destroy worlds were sliced apart one after another. Yet, it seemed that Little Alauna’s power was only growing.
Her talent was second to none. If she was compared to Dyon before he transcended during his very first life, she had overshadowed him completely. The only reason why Dyon could be considered to be far beyond her now was due to his countless years of accumulated experience.
Little Alauna had stagnated due to not having worthy opponents, but now that she had found one, her potential burst forth to a frightening degree.
If those of the Immortal Plane knew that a mortal was battling a creature that required millions of them to face up against, it was a wonder what kind of reactions they would have.
Alauna was continuously beaten away. It seemed that her body would shatter in nothing but a bloody mist several times. But, each time, her formation would flash and fill her to the brim with power, healing her injuries even as she charged again and again.
“Ha!”
Alauna’s body burst into a shower of chaotic black flames.
The shrill cries of the void beast shattered the void, even causing the Planet of the Sapientia to tremble to the point of near collapse.
Alauna landed on the void beast’s eye with both feet, her expression turned savage. Blood coated her once delicate features, caking in several layers.
She grabbed the edge of the void beast’s pupil in one hand and raised her scythe in the other. A vicious glint burned in her eye as she swung down with all her might.
SSSSSSKKKKKKKRRRRRRRREEEEEEEEEE
The 108 000 stars to Alauna’s back began to spin violently. They formed up into groups of a thousand, fusing into one to form callosal suns that dwarfed even solar systems. Then… They fired.
A barrage of star qi the likes of which had never accumulated in one place shot forward all at once. The 108 callosal stars burned with a fiery light, sending out beams of endless energy that bombarded the void beast from all angles.
“Die for me!” Alauna roared. Her voice clapped like thunder, her momentum rushing upward like towering waves. For a moment, it seemed that her word was law, untouchable and as majestic as the Heavens themselves.
Her scythe tore into the void beast’s eye, causing a gush of foul black blood to flow out. However, the moment they came into contact with Alauna’s flames, they were burnt to oblivion.
The battle should have been over. The Chaos Flames Alauna inherited from her father were too potent. If they were to rampage inside the body, void beast or not, such a creature should be finished. Plus, even though the mortal plane wasn’t strong enough to eject the void beast, didn’t mean that it didn’t suppress it. Without its full strength, the void beast should have been done.
However, it was at that moment that Alauna’s eyes widened.
Without hesitation, she shot up, trying to get out of range of the void beast’s eye. But, it was too late.
A massive red beam of light that put a planet’s diameter to shame shot out. Alauna didn’t have time to dodge it at all.
SSSSSKKKKKRRRRRRREEEEEEE
Tribulation clouds appeared in space above the void beast. The air shattered and twisted, long blades of spatial qi whipping about like the rain of a tropical storm.
The void beast violently lashed out against the tribulation clouds, smacking at them with pure strength.
As though enraged, the clouds roared with thunder and struck down with arcs of golden lightning, burning many of the void beast’s limbs to ash with just a few strikes.
However, it was then that the void beast’s eye, rapidly healing from the impact of Alauna’s scythe and Chaos Flames, flashed once more.
Another world toppling beam of red left its reptilian pupil, tearing through the skies and into the clouds above.
SHUUUU
A hole was torn through the tribulation clouds. It spread out so quickly that they seemed to be torn to pieces in the blink of an eye.
In the distance, Alauna coughed up several mouthfuls of blood. Her eyes hung half closed, the pain that was wracking her body building up to an unimaginable level.
If others saw her now, they would wonder just why it was she wasn’t dead yet.
Her head hung limply, her hair covering her face. However, what was truly devastating was the fact… her lower body was gone.
There was nothing left of what had once been beneath her waist. One of her arms managed to hold onto her scythe, but the other was cut off at the elbow, hanging limply to the side of her body.
SSSSKKKKRRRREEEEEEEEE
The void beast lashed out again, taking out what remained of the tribulation clouds. It was completely infuriated that these mere mortal tribulation clouds actually deemed itself capable of harming it.
On the Immortal Plane, the Sacharro name wasn’t very well known. No one dared to take the name, and after enough time passed, many forgot why this was the case at all.
In the end, there was no large clan by that name and it had vanished over the course of history, becoming lost in a bundle of mythology and legends.
However, there were those who the name meant a lot to, those who took pride in the name and looked up to it.
“A Sacharro doesn’t lose…” Alauna mumbled to herself.
Alauna’s haggard breaths were completely drowned out by the roars of the void beast, but her resolve was like a fire raging in the tundra. It didn’t matter how chilling her prospects were.
A light smile curled her lips as she remembered memories of her father. He was a mighty man who barely took a few decades to subdue the whole of the mortal plane. But, in her heart he was just her dad. The man who doted on her the most.
Her breathing slowly grew steady.
The 108 callosal stars converged back toward her. The flow of star qi grew turbulent, quickly repairing her body.
It was a shocking scene to behold. The stars actually fused with her body, becoming one with her. It was impossible to imagine how such massive things could meld into the body of a little girl. But soon, that ‘little’ girl’s body began to expand.
In one moment she was barely 5’7, but in the next she was hundreds of kilometers tall. Compared to the void beast, she was still too small, but even now, she was still growing.
Her hair turned a jet black, flickering along with her eyes with flames that could burn all of existence to ash.
The instant the stars disappeared, another 108 000 celestial bodies appeared around her. But this time… they were monstrosities that seemed to want to swallow everything in their path.
In the beginning, she had created a formation of stars. But now, there were actually thousands of blackholes, each of which could destroy a solar system on its own.
‘I wanted to be as great as dad, not relying on treasures, but I’m still a bit too weak.’
An eye appeared in Alauna’s palm. It was none other than Hell’s Right Eye, exuding an aura that lorded over space and time. Without hesitation, Alauna pushed it into her eye socket, allowing it to meld with her own.
‘Oh, still alive?’ Emperor Saerus Sapientia remained indifferent.
The void shattered once again. Alauna didn’t even have the chance to attack again when a second void beast appeared.
Alauna gazed toward the two identical void beasts, her body as large as tens of thousands of kilometers by now.
‘A Sacharro doesn’t lose…’ She said to herself again.
**
On the Immortal Plane, the battle had already come to an end. Dyon was currently looking at a world of golden fog that happened to house the most ancient spiritual vein of the Immortal Plane, yet, he had no happiness on his face.
His killing intent was stifling to the point even this most heavenly of fogs didn’t dare to approach him.
‘What a good Sapientia Clan indeed…’
Violent cracks appeared beneath his feet, spreading for thousands of kilometers.
