After pinning her hair, Ni Yang left it down instead of tying it up.

She looked extraordinary, like a feminine and beautiful deity stepping out from a painting.

The first stop was Xisuo Island.

To get to Xisuo Island, they had to take a boat.

Though it had already been a day since they arrived in M Country and settled into the Haijing Hotel, it was Ni Cuihua’s first time to be this close to the ocean.

The deep blue water where it met the far-off sky was a spectacular sight!

It made one want to shout out loud.

Even though the ocean was beautiful, everyone on board was captivated by Ni Yang.

She was a very charismatic oriental woman.

At that moment, Ni Yang stood by the rail, gazing at the distant islands. The wind carried her shiny black hair creating a chaotic beauty.

“Excuse me, miss. Could we get to know each other better?” An M Country youngster carrying a glass of red wine approached Ni Yang.

Ni Yang glanced at him, “Hello.” She did not reject the polite approach.

“Hello, my name is James, I’m from Chicago in M Country. And you?”

“My name is Ni Yang. I’m Chinese.”

“Chinese!” James was mildly shocked.

It was his first time seeing such a beautiful Chinese woman!

“Do you have a boyfriend?” James went on, “If not, I wonder if I could have the honor of being your boyfriend.”

Most people from M Country are quite open. In the conservative 1980s, they were already into the trend of one night stands, so it wasn’t strange for them to bring up dating when they first met someone.

“I’m sorry, I already have a boyfriend.” Ni Yang politely declined.

“Oh my God! That’s such a pity! Your boyfriend must be really outstanding, right?” James could hardly imagine the kind of oriental man that could match this beautiful lady.

Ni Yang slightly nodded, “Yes, he is indeed a very outstanding person.”

To outsiders, Mo Qishen might seem incompetent and useless.

Soon, the boat docked on the island.

There were already numerous people bustling on the beach, men in swimming trunks and women in bikinis.

Upon seeing this, Ni Cuihua immediately covered her eyes, “How can they dress like this! I can’t bear to watch.”

How could they just wear their underwear and come out?

And there were adult men here too!

Ni Cuihua, being a traditional woman, could not accept this kind of dressing.

Ni Yang laughed, “Mom, this is called a bikini, it’s specially worn for swimming. Don’t think they’re exposing too much. They’ve covered what needs to be covered.”

“No, no, I can’t watch.”

The people of M Country had voluptuous bodies and when they wore bikinis, it was even more provocative. No wonder Ni Cuihua couldn’t accept it.

Ni Yang pulled her mother’s hands away from her face, “What are you avoiding? Look around a little more, you’ll get used to it. Almost all swimmers dress like this.”

The sunglasses were large and covered most of Ni Yang’s face once she wore them, leaving only the snow-white skin and red lips visible.

Even though the cheongsam was of a vintage style, and the sunglasses were modern, there was no inconsistency when worn together on Ni Yang’s face.

Ni Yang, with her little shovel, was treasure hunting on the beach, and she even found a beached sea star in the shallow water.

“Mom!” Ni Yang quickly called Ni Cuihua.

“What is it?” Ni Cuihua immediately came over, carrying Little Ni Yun.

“Mom, look here.”

“Is this a star?” Ni Cuihua curiously asked, “Oh, why is it moving?”

Ni Yang explained, “This is a starfish, a marine creature.”

“Can it be eaten?” Ni Cuihua asked further.

Ni Yang nodded, “Yes, it’s edible, but this one is too small.”

Little Ni Yun pointed at the starfish and said, “Put back… in the sea…”

Ni Yang patted the Little Ni Yun’s head, “Alright, we’ll put it back in the sea.”

“Mom, let me take a picture of you.”

“Ok.” Ni Cuihua donned her sunglasses and looked towards the camera with Little Ni Yun.

With a ‘click’, the camera captured this beautiful moment.

Just then, a little girl collecting seashells walked by. Ni Yang handed her the camera, “Excuse me, could you help us take a photo?”

“Of course!” The little girl happily took the camera.

Being able to photograph such beautiful people was an honor for her.

The little girl ‘click, click’ took several photos in succession.

“Thank you.”

“You’re welcome.” The little girl handed the camera back to Ni Yang, extending a friendly hand, “My name is Emily, and I’m eighteen. Nice to meet you.”

Ni Yang smiled and shook her hand, “Nice to meet you, too. My name is Ni Yang. I’m also eighteen this year.”

“Oh my god! What a coincidence.” Emily exclaimed.

“Yes!” Ni Yang continued, “That’s my mom, and that’s my little sister.”

“Your family is all so gorgeous! Like angels!” In M Country, the highest compliment one could give to another was to compare them to angels.

“You’re very beautiful, too!”

Soon, Ni Yang made her first good friend in M Country, Emily.

At noon, Emily took Ni Yang and her family to the most delicious restaurant on the island.

Ni Yang paid the bill first. Emily felt somewhat embarrassed and said, “Ni Yang, you’re too polite! We’re in my country, so I should be treating you!”

Ni Yang smiled, “That’s ok. When you visit China next time, you can treat me.”

“Alright.” Emily nodded, “What interesting places are there in China?”

Ni Yang immediately introduced Emily to the famous attractions in China.

For example, the sunrise at Yellow Mountain, the Great Wall at Badaling, the magical and beautiful views of the Three Gorges on the Yangtze River, the Forbidden City, the misty Jiangnan… along with the saying, “Heaven is above, yet Suzhou and Hangzhou are below.”

Listening to the descriptions, Emily was fascinated.

Finally, Ni Yang said, “Not only do we have many scenic spots in China, but we also have an abundance of delicious food. Especially in the Bashu area, I believe that once you go there, you won’t want to come back.”

Emily asked, “Are there sandwiches and pizza?”

Ni Yang laughed, “Of course ours is much more delicious. Sandwiches and pizza are just fast food in our place. When you come to China, I’ll take you to have a state banquet in the Forbidden City.”

“Yes, yes.” Emily nodded her head eagerly, wishing she could go to China immediately.

“By the way, Ni Yang, your skin is so good, you must be using a very good skincare product, right?” Ni Yang’s skin was delicate and smooth, just like a peeled egg, to the envy of others. Emily had observed quietly that even up close, no flaw could be seen.

Ni Yang nodded slightly, “I am indeed using a pretty good skincare product.”
