Rebirth: Clinging to My Possessive Magnate
Chapter 1320: So Adorable
Chapter 1320: Chapter 1320: So Adorable
When the Dean came in and saw Sophie Wilson, he was in a very good mood, clearly not affected by what had just happened.
"Boss." The Dean greeted her with a smile.
Their boss was pretty funny; she actually told them to call her that.
"Dean, have a seat." Sophie smiled and motioned for him to sit. "Our hospital has really made a name for itself this time. Reporters will probably contact you for interviews later, and this matter will be handled by the dedicated PR department."
"Okay." The Dean nodded. He was genuinely impressed with their boss—she’d even set up a dedicated PR department for a hospital.
At first, he thought the boss was wasting money, but after seeing the doctors in the hospital, he felt she was truly far-sighted and remarkably visionary.
"From now on, I’ll be troubling you with the hospital affairs." Sophie said with a smile. "I don’t understand these things; if anything comes up, you just go ahead and do what needs to be done."
"But the few points I mentioned to you must be carried out. If you can’t do that, don’t blame me for turning hostile." Sophie’s expression turned serious as she fixed her gaze on the Dean.
The Dean laughed. "Boss, don’t worry. I’ll definitely make it happen."
Their boss might be rich, but the rules she set were strict.
Patients were to be put first, and any shady, irregular practices in the hospital were absolutely forbidden.
As for such a decision... he of course supported it with both hands and feet.
Back at his previous hospital, it was precisely because he’d witnessed so many dark things and then blew the whistle on them that he brought a world of trouble down on himself.
He was suppressed and ostracized in every way; those days were truly miserable beyond words, and he was almost at his breaking point when, unexpectedly, the boss found him and asked him to come serve as Dean.
Once he arrived here, the atmosphere made him feel extremely comfortable.
A hospital is a place for treating and saving people; making normal, legitimate profits is something no one will complain about.
But on top of the money that should be earned, they still wanted to make dirty money—this was something he simply couldn’t do.
The boss’s hospital matched his philosophy perfectly; from his very first day here, he fell in love with this job.
What’s more, the boss was loaded and had professionals in charge of everything. All he had to do was do his own job well.
After the Dean left Sophie Wilson’s office, he saw that all the staff in the hospital looked energized.
Their spirit made him feel very content; this was exactly how a good hospital ought to look.
After Sophie finished dealing with hospital matters, she drove straight off to find her Mr. Seymour.
"Honeyyy." Sophie pushed the door open and walked in, not bothering with any formalities toward Charles Seymour.
Walking into her own husband’s office, why the hell would she knock?
Charles looked up from behind his computer, a smile blooming in his eyes—clearly, he was very happy to see Sophie arrive.
"I saw my brother’s car." Sophie slapped the back of Charles’s chair, spinning it at an angle, then unabashedly sat down on his lap. She hooked a finger around his tie and gave it a light tug, pulling his head down slightly. Arching a brow, she asked, "You don’t trust me, you were worried something would happen to me, weren’t you?"
"Yeah." Charles nodded, admitting it.
"Oh my, how can you be this adorable?" Sophie clicked her tongue in mock amazement. "Come on, give you a smooch."
Sophie tipped her head up and planted a loud kiss right on Charles’s lips.
Just as she was about to pull away, she suddenly felt the big hand on her waist tighten slightly.
