Chapter 1317: Chapter 1317: Dying of Jealousy

The arrival of President Carter and his group seemed to be a signal, as more people quickly rushed over.

One by one, they hurriedly entered the hospital, and the entire place immediately became busy.

Henry Chapman’s group stood on either side of the hospital entrance, inexplicably feeling that their actions at this moment were quite—dumb.

Someone finally couldn’t hold back and ran into the hospital to check the duty roster.

Inside the hospital, the names of the doctors in each department were displayed on a big screen, along with their photos.

The person couldn’t recognize all the doctors but, having been Henry Chapman’s patient, he certainly recognized the specialist who treated his condition.

Wasn’t the doctor displayed up there the very expert he had tried everything to schedule with before?

He nervously swallowed, then quickly ran out to tell a few people he knew, "Go check inside, see if there’s an expert related to your past condition."

They looked at him doubtfully but still went inside. In less than five minutes, they came out in a daze, their steps shaky as if they had been shocked.

Finally, someone didn’t step firmly, staggered, and almost fell off the steps.

"Careful." A hand reached out beside him, holding him steady.

The man heard the familiar voice, came to his senses, and looked at Sophie Wilson, who had steadied him, awkwardly thanking her.

Sophie laughed, letting go of his hand: "No worries, be careful."

"Um... I want to ask, how long will the doctors in the hospital be here?" The man asked nervously, aware that some places temporarily hired skilled professionals upon opening but replaced them with regular ones after a few months.

He didn’t know how long Sophie Wilson’s hospital could keep going.

"Apart from some doctors who may leave due to age, the others have signed contracts and are naturally our hospital’s doctors," Sophie said with a smile. "Rest assured, everyone. The number of doctors in our hospital will only grow in the future, experts included."

After hearing this, the man’s neck stiffly turned to look at the people who came with him, all with equally pale faces.

The doctors in this hospital are all experts they usually can’t even schedule an appointment with!

"If you all have nothing else to do, please don’t block our hospital entrance. If you continue to disrupt our normal work, I’ll call the police," Sophie Wilson said with a smile on her face, but her voice was cold, leaving no doubt she would do it.

"Miss Wilson, may I ask..." a reporter hurriedly questioned, "how did you manage to invite so many experts?"

"There’s no need for me to reveal that. I can only say, every doctor, every nurse, every staff member in my hospital is a top professional," Sophie said with a smile. "Also, please call me Mrs. Seymour from now on, I’ve gotten married."

In the car parked outside the hospital, Kai Bright held his cheek, took a sharp breath, it was painfully sour.

Charles Seymour had him come to keep an eye on things, worried someone might bully Sophie.

And here he was, not only secretly protecting someone but also being fed a mouthful of dog food?

Could this couple be any more ridiculous?

So unfair.

"It’s just, I don’t understand why Dr. Chapman insists on believing that all doctors in our hospital are quacks," Sophie’s eyes fell on Henry Chapman.
