Rebirth: Clinging to My Possessive Magnate
Chapter 1306: Trap
Chapter 1306: Chapter 1306: Trap
"How long did you prepare for this?" Sophie Wilson felt like her eyes weren’t enough; the room was just too beautiful.
It had an ancient charm, yet didn’t feel stifling. Somehow, this place made her feel so comfortable and beautiful.
"Do you like it?" Charles Seymour asked.
"I love it!" Sophie Wilson nodded repeatedly, walked over, and couldn’t help but laugh, "You actually used red candles."
She thought these candle holders were fake, didn’t expect him to make them so realistic.
"You once said you wanted an ancient wedding." Charles Seymour said, grabbing a wine jug and pouring two glasses.
"I was just casually saying that back then," Sophie Wilson said amused, remembering it was something mentioned in that questionable company, didn’t expect him to remember.
"And you really made it happen." Sophie Wilson looked around, feeling emotional, "I didn’t expect you to build such a place just for this."
"Of course," Charles Seymour said.
"Only we will use it."
This room, and the place where they held their wedding, only they would use it.
"This is what happens when you’re rich." Sophie Wilson laughed.
She really hadn’t expected him to give her such a big surprise.
"My dear, it’s time for us to drink our cross-cupped wine." Charles Seymour raised his glass in front of Sophie Wilson.
Sophie Wilson took it, and they entwined their arms, sending the wine into their mouths.
The faint scent of wine, clearly, Charles Seymour didn’t want her to get drunk.
"Finished," Sophie Wilson said, playfully winking at him.
Charles Seymour looked at Sophie Wilson’s lips, moistened and reddened by the wine, his gaze darkened: "Then let’s get down to business."
Saying this, he extended his long arm and directly lifted Sophie Wilson up.
The celebratory red bed curtains were drawn, the candlelight softly spreading its warm orange glow.
This night was still very long, very long...

The next day, Bao’er burst into tears.
Daddy is a liar, he said I could be with Mommy all the time from now on!
Mommy is gone, Daddy is gone too.
They don’t want me anymore.
"Oh, Bao’er, don’t cry, don’t cry," Clarissa Taylor coaxed the endlessly crying little guy, tenderly wiping his tears, "Missing Mommy, huh?"
"Daddy, big liar!" Bao’er sobbed and shouted.
"What did he say to you?" Clarissa Taylor quickly asked.
"Mommy wasn’t here, Daddy said I could see pretty Mommy... then we could be a family," Bao’er said, crying and piecing together his words.
Clarissa Taylor had a faint idea of what had happened.
"That day, Mommy wasn’t home to sleep with Bao’er, Daddy said tomorrow you could see pretty Mommy, and then you’d be a family?" Clarissa Taylor asked.
Bao’er nodded vigorously, then sobbed loudly, "Daddy lied, Mommy is gone."
"Mommy’s not gone, she’s not gone," Clarissa Taylor hurriedly coaxed, "Daddy and Mommy have gone to another place, they’ll be back in half a month."
Hearing this, Bao’er sniffled twice, but the tears stopped: "Daddy and Mommy went to work?"
"Yes, they have something to do," Clarissa Taylor smiled and coaxed, unable to explain the honeymoon to Bao’er.
"I’ll be good, waiting, waiting..." Bao’er still cried, hiccuping, unable to complete a sentence, but he had stopped crying.
"Bao’er is so good." Clarissa Taylor affectionately hugged Bao’er.
Mason Wilson stood on the side, holding his forehead, thinking about how Charles Seymour even tricked his own son.
Is he even human?
