Rebirth: Clinging to My Possessive Magnate
Chapter 1304: Who Is He?
Chapter 1304: Chapter 1304: Who Is He?
After a long pause, Julian Campbell finally came to his senses, scratched his head, and laughed, "It’s right for Uncle to feel sorry for Aunt. But..."
Julian thought about the guests present today. To get so many people to gather together, Uncle is truly impressive.
No, there are also Aunt’s friends here.
These friends probably aren’t just Uncle’s.
Julian sighed lightly, suppressing the curiosity in his heart.
Never mind why Uncle and Aunt became friends with these people, he just needed to focus on welcoming the guests.
He didn’t have much ambition; he just needed to do what he was supposed to do well.
As for satisfying his curiosity, well, it seems Kai Bright knows quite a few little secrets.
He could occasionally try to prod for information and then have Kai Bright investigate. In the end, it would be Kai getting scolded by Uncle, not him.
Perfect!
After thinking it through, Julian put on a smile and continued to entertain the guests.
Anyway, staying by Charles Seymour’s side had taught him quite a bit, at least much more than Kai Bright had assumed.
Sophie Wilson sat in the room, allowing the makeup artist to work on her face.
"All done." Hearing this from the makeup artist, Sophie immediately opened her eyes and was stunned upon seeing herself in the mirror.
"Miss Wilson, how do you feel?" the makeup artist proudly asked.
"Beautiful." Sophie nodded, "I don’t even feel like myself."
"What do you mean? You’re naturally beautiful; the makeup just highlights your features," the makeup artist said with a smile.
"Beautiful." Sophie couldn’t bear to look away.
"Miss Wilson, please try on the dress."
"Alright." Sophie stood up, glanced at the gift, and was taken aback and then slowly a smile bloomed on her lips. Charles Seymour had been so thoughtful.
On the other side, Jim Perry stepped out, holding a microphone, and said with a smile to the people resting in the hall, "Dear guests, the auspicious time is approaching, please."
Following Jim Perry’s words, the classic large door in the hall opened on both sides.
The crowd was quite orderly as they moved inside.
At this moment, Jason Cole suddenly stopped, staring intensely at Jim Perry.
Jim Perry looked at Jason Cole and gave a perfect, gentlemanly smile, saying, "Manager Cole, please come inside."
Jason Cole nodded slightly and followed the others inside.
He quickly reached Frederick Cole’s side and whispered in a voice only the two of them could hear, "Dad, that Jim Perry is the one from before..."
"It’s all in the past." Frederick Cole replied casually.
This careless tone made Jason Cole’s heart tremble, "Dad, did you recognize him?"
Frederick Cole really wanted to slap him; he might be getting older, but he wasn’t blind yet, was he?
"There’s no need to bother with it," Frederick Cole said with a deep voice, "The past is over, and now that person is just a manager at the Peace Group."
Jason Cole was stunned. Was there something he didn’t know?
Jim Perry is Charles Seymour’s manager. Does Charles Seymour know Jim Perry’s past identity?
This question barely lingered in Jason Cole’s mind before he arrived at the answer—he definitely knows!
Because he knew Jim Perry would never casually work as a manager for someone.
This implies he trusts Charles Seymour. If that’s the case... Jason Cole’s pupils dilated with tension—who exactly is Charles Seymour?
