Rebate King: Every Beauty I Spoil Makes Me a Billionaire
Chapter 390: Trading Hub
The Audi glided smoothly through the morning traffic, the city waking up around them in soft gold light. Maya’s hand remained on Stan’s thigh, her thumb still tracing slow, absent circles through the fabric of his jeans. Sophie leaned forward from the back seat, her chin nearly resting on the headrest between them, fingers lightly brushing the nape of his neck whenever the car took a gentle turn.
Maya glanced at the unfamiliar streets and tilted her head. "So... where exactly are we going? This doesn’t look like any grocery run I’ve ever been on."
Sophie hummed in agreement, her breath warm near his ear. "Yeah. You’ve got that focused ’I know exactly where I’m headed’ look. Spill."
Stan’s mouth curved in a small, easy smile as he changed lanes. "There’s a trading hub not far from here. Prime Stock Trading Hub. Not the kind of place most people think of for everyday shopping, but they carry everything, high-quality produce, specialty cuts, imported goods, household staples. One stop and the house will be properly stocked for a while."
Maya’s fingers gave his thigh a light, appreciative squeeze. "A whole trading hub just to restock your kitchen? You really don’t do anything halfway, do you?"
"Wouldn’t want my two favorite guests going hungry," he answered, voice low and warm. "Or me, for that matter."
Sophie laughed softly, the sound intimate in the quiet cabin of the car. "Listen to him. Acting like we didn’t just spend half the night making sure he was thoroughly taken care of." Her fingertips traced a slow line along the side of his neck. "Though I suppose feeding him is the next responsible step."
Maya leaned a little closer, her soft breast brushing against his arm as she spoke. "Responsible and enjoyable. I like the combination." She glanced out the window, then back at him with a playful glint in her eyes. "Just don’t get too distracted by all the options once we’re inside. I’d rather not lose you to a particularly impressive cut of steak."
Stan chuckled, the sound low in his chest. "I’ll try to restrain myself. But no promises if they have those aged wagyu portions you both like."
"Bribery already?" Sophie teased, her voice rich with amusement. "We’re not even there yet and he’s already planning to spoil us."
"Can you blame me?" he replied, glancing briefly at Maya before checking the mirror to catch Sophie’s reflection. "I have excellent taste in company. It tends to extend to everything else."
Maya’s thumb resumed its slow circles. "Mm. Flattery and fine food. Dangerous combination this early in the morning."
Sophie rested her chin more firmly against the headrest, smiling. "Dangerous in the best way. I’m already curious what else he’s going to try to talk us into once we’re walking those aisles."
"Nothing you won’t enjoy," Stan said, the corner of his mouth lifting. "I promise."
The conversation flowed easily after that, soft, affectionate remarks, quiet laughter, the occasional lingering touch.
Maya’s hand never left his thigh for long; Sophie’s fingers continued their gentle exploration of the short hair at the back of his neck. The enclosed space of the car held the faint, clean scent of the soap they had shared that morning, mixed with the subtle warmth of their nice feminine perfume.
After another few turns through quieter streets, the large modern structure of the Prime Stock Trading Hub came into view, glass and steel rising cleanly against the morning sky, its broad entrance already seeing a steady stream of early shoppers and delivery vehicles.
Stan guided the Audi into the underground parking levels, the engine’s soft purr echoing briefly off the concrete walls as he found a space near the elevators.
He put the car in park and killed the engine. For a moment the three of them simply sat there, the quiet intimacy of the drive still lingering between them.
Maya gave his thigh one last slow stroke before withdrawing her hand with a small, satisfied smile. "Well... shall we go make sure our king’s kitchen is worthy of him again?"
Sophie was already reaching for her door handle, eyes bright. "Lead the way."
Stan stepped out, the cool underground air brushing his skin. Sophie and Maya stepped out as well.
With that they walked together toward the elevators that would take them up into the bustling trading hub.
The elevator carried them upward in a smooth, quiet ascent.
When the doors opened, the three of them stepped out into the main concourse of the Prime Stock Trading Hub. High glass ceilings let the morning light pour down in clean, bright shafts.
The air carried a mix of fresh produce, roasted coffee, and the faint metallic tang of the cold-storage sections further back. People moved with purpose, shoppers, vendors, delivery staff, yet the space still felt open and unhurried.
Stan guided Maya and Sophie toward the elevated eatery that overlooked the central trading floor.
The restaurant was already half-full with early patrons, but a corner table near the glass railing was free. He gestured towards it, and they walked to the table and sat.
The view below showed the busy flow of the hub: crates of specialty produce being wheeled past, glass cases of aged meats gleaming under careful lighting, shelves of imported goods stretching into the distance.
A server appeared almost at once. They ordered simply, freshly baked bread still warm from the oven, soft scrambled eggs with herbs, smoked salmon, a pot of strong coffee, and a small selection of tropical fruit.
While they waited, Maya rested her chin in one hand and looked at Stan with a slow, appreciative smile.
"You show up looking like that first thing in the morning and expect us to behave?" she teased, her voice low enough that only the three of them could hear. "Dangerous strategy."
Sophie leaned in slightly, her knee brushing Stan’s under the table. "She’s right. You’re sitting there looking completely put-together after last night, while I’m still thinking about how good your hands felt on me in the shower this morning." Her eyes sparkled with quiet mischief. "It’s unfair."
Stan’s mouth curved. "I’ll take the criticism. Especially when it comes with the two of you looking like that." His gaze moved briefly over the soft neckline of Maya’s dress, then the way Sophie’s top sat against her curves. "Makes the morning better."
Maya’s foot found his under the table, the light pressure of her toes deliberately playful. "Keep talking like that and we might decide the shopping can wait."
The food arrived before either of them could escalate the thought. Plates were set down with quiet efficiency.
The scrambled eggs were rich and fragrant; the bread tore open in soft, steaming pieces; the salmon was delicate and perfectly smoked. A platter of sliced tropical fruit added a burst of color to the table, while the freshly brewed coffee filled the air with a rich, inviting aroma.
They ate at an unhurried pace, the conversation drifting between soft remarks about the food and more personal, lingering observations.
Maya speared a piece of pineapple and popped it into her mouth, humming softly at the sweetness. Sophie wrapped both hands around her coffee cup, taking a slow sip before reaching for another piece of bread.
Sophie buttered the piece of bread and held it out for Stan to take a bite directly from her fingers. When he did, her eyes lingered on his mouth a moment longer than necessary. "You know," she murmured, "I could get used to feeding you in public too. There’s something very satisfying about it."
Maya laughed under her breath, spearing a piece of fruit and offering it across the table in the same way. "Careful. If we start competing over who gets to spoil him more, the poor man won’t stand a chance."
Stan accepted the fruit, then reached beneath the table to give Maya’s knee a brief, warm squeeze. "I’m not complaining. In fact, I think I could get used to this level of attention."
They continued like that, small shared bites, quiet laughter, the occasional brush of fingers or knees under the table.
The eatery around them stayed busy, but their corner felt private, wrapped in the easy intimacy they had carried from the night before and the soft morning drive.
By the time the last of the coffee was gone and the plates were cleared, a comfortable fullness settled over them. Maya leaned back in her chair with a contented sigh, one hand resting lightly on her stomach.
"That was perfect," she said. "Now I actually feel ready to face the rest of this place."
Sophie stretched gracefully, the motion making the fabric of her top shift in ways that briefly drew Stan’s eye. "Agreed. Let’s go make sure your kitchen stops looking so neglected."
Stan stood and offered a hand to each of them in turn.
As they rose, Maya’s fingers lingered in his a second longer than needed; Sophie’s shoulder brushed his chest as she stepped close.
The server returned with the bill, and Stan settled it without a second thought.
The three of them left the eatery together, the warmth of the shared meal and the quiet, teasing affection still hanging pleasantly between them as they stepped back onto the main floor of the trading hub, ready to begin the rest of their morning.
