The three smaller humans didn’t cause much of a panic among the Winged Dragons. But when the ten-meter-long, heavily armored Black Tortoise suddenly bit the Winged Dragon King, the entire flock descended into chaos.

The Winged Dragon King, its foot caught in the bite, flapped its wings frantically, trying to break free from the Black Tortoise’s jaws. Unfortunately, that was impossible.

As one of the Four Extremes, the Black Tortoise didn’t just have a turtle’s beak. Its mouth, like that of a dragon or tiger, was filled with rows upon rows of sharp teeth. Once bitten by the Black Tortoise, nothing could escape.

With their leader captured, the other Winged Dragons beat their wings, wheeled around, and attacked the Black Tortoise. But its head and limbs instantly retracted into its shell. Protected by its carapace, the Winged Dragons’ talons only scraped sparks off the surface. Their attacks did no significant damage to the Black Tortoise at all.

At the same time, the Tyrannosaurus charged over in a flash, striding on its massive hind legs. With a thunderous roar, it opened its cavernous maw and, with a CRUNCH, bit one of the Winged Dragons attacking the Black Tortoise in half.
