Chapter 237: Change In Chaos Bloodline (Part 1)

ROAR!

The Superior Fire Spirit let out a roar full of rage, and a tyrannical aura spread throughout the surroundings, making the already high temperature soar even higher.

William stared at the five meter long, three-meter-tall salamander-like Fire Spirit, and his expression grew extremely serious.

The Superior Fire Spirit’s entire body was covered in burning dark orange flames that distorted the surrounding air.

"Come out, you lizard! Let’s play outside!" He shouted and threw the ball toward the Superior Fire Spirit.

ROAR!

The Fire Spirit was enraged by William’s action and spat out a ball of condensed fire.

The fireball and the lightning ball collided midair, and the next instant—

BOOOOOOM!

A loud explosion shook the top of the volcano as the liquid lava within the crater churned violently, splashing everywhere like waves of water.

A cloud of black smoke spread from the point where their attacks had clashed and before William could use Eyes of Insight to see through the smoke—

The cloud of smoke was blown away as a salamander covered in fire tore through it, flying toward William at an astonishing speed.

William’s pupils contracted as he hadn’t expected the Fire Spirit to be so fast. By the time his mind registered everything, the Fire Spirit was already in front of him.

The salamander’s mouth was wide open, and a breath of fire was brewing inside it, making William feel an intense burning sensation on his face.

ROAR!

With a loud roar, a jet of fire shot out of the Fire Spirit’s mouth, engulfing William’s figure.

Kalsh, who was hiding not far away felt his heart turn cold as he hadn’t expected the Fire Spirit to be so powerful that it could kill William in an instant.

Just as he was overcome by an intense sense of dread—

"You fucking bastard! You almost burned my handsome face!" He heard a familiar voice from behind the Fire Spirit.

The Superior Fire Spirit was also stunned and immediately turned its head to look behind itself.

As soon as it turned its head, a fist wrapped in Blood Lightning struck it right in the face, sending it flying away from the volcano’s crater.

’Is that fucking tail made of black gold?’ William cursed inwardly, as he had never thought he would be unable to cut the Fire Spirit’s tail even with his sword.

Before he could think about anything further, William felt intense heat coming from the front and saw a jet of dark orange flames rapidly approaching him, engulfing everything in its path.

"Damn it!" William cursed and immediately activated Time Acceleration, increasing his speed.

His figure flickered slightly, and as Blood Lightning crackled around him, he disappeared from the spot.

BOOOOOOM!

The jet of flames struck the hard stone where he had been a moment earlier and blasted it into smithereens, completely destroying it.

William wiped the cold sweat from his forehead and as his Super Regeneration healed his body, he looked at the Fire Spirit, only to find it staring at him with burning eyes.

ROAR!

The Fire Spirit let out another loud roar, and two wings made of fire suddenly appeared on its back.

"Your moth—" William’s eyes widened, and before he could even finish cursing—

Woosh!

The Fire Spirit flapped its wings and immediately appeared in front of him, swinging its tail toward his face like a whip.
