Re-Birth of a Genius. Creator/Destroyer

Chapter 2588: Challenge

Chapter 2588: Challenge

While Sam was sending a peak stage cultivator packing, back at the base camp arranged not too far away from the Hastin village...

Myrmon and Shin are standing in the air looking straight at Parth who is meditating in the sky above his village.

Both sides can see and sense each other’s presence. But they didn’t act.

Myrmon and Shin also sensed the changes happening to the Hastin village.

"I did hear from my spies about how Hastin village was in a hurry to make some changes. I didn’t expect that they really were preparing for war.

That bone dome... Its giving off a pretty powerful aura. It would be hard for us to break the defense unless we make a move ourselves." Shin said while trying to gauge the true defense level of the bone dome.

"Fortunately, that’s off limits. I already told you guys. I might be okay with going against Parth and Hastin village, but I absolutely am against, breaking the combat rules of our planet.

Parth is only an opponent as long as he is constrained by the rules.

Once we break them, he is no longer constrained and then he would become a slaughterer."

"Alright, you have told that a million times.

I never knew you were so afraid of him. I thought you guys never determined who is stronger among you two."

"Don’t bother edging me. If its pure raw strength, and energy capacity, we are equal. But if we are locked in a true battle of life and death... I believe its Parth who is going to come out alive. I have no shame in admitting that."

Shin was stunned and looked at Myrmon.

"You... you are really afraid. The way you usually act... I thought you were actually confident in yourself. Were you faking it?"

"No, I was trying to muster up my confidence."

Myrmon didn’t continue the conversation and kept looking at Parth...

"So, when we are we starting the attack?" Shin changed the conversation.

"After Bewulf’s situation is determined.

I deliberately let Bewulf go because I wanted to see if Parth will move to save Sam..."

Even as he was speaking, suddenly both Myrmon and Shin sensed something. Both of them looked into the direction of Sam’s base.

A deep frown appeared on their faces.

At the same time, Parth too looked in that direction. He finally opened his eyes and a smile appeared on his face.

It was only for a moment, but he closed his eyes and went back into the meditative state.

Myrmon gritted his teeth and cursed.

"This bloody Bewulf. I knew the Saxon bastards can’t be trusted."

Needless to say he was disappointed. But at the same time, both him and Shin were shocked.

"That guy Sam... his formation really has enough power to deal with people at our level." Shin exclaimed.

"Why are you so surprised? We already saw what the knowledge he had at hand could do. Do you really think he didn’t gatekeep anything for himself? He must have had much better formations and weapons at his disposal.

Maybe he even supplied Hastin with them."

Myrmon muttered and he looked at Parth’s direction.

After a few minutes of silence, he spoke.

"Let’s start.

There is no point in waiting anymore. If Parth moved to save Sam, things would be much simpler. Anyway, its not like this is not expected."

Both of them zoomed towards the temporary camp them set up. A communication formation that enabled them to talk with rest of the people opened up.

All the powerhouses appeared on the screen.

"Bewulf failed. He even used his celestial energy. So, he is out of commission.

We need to proceed without him." Myrmon said. There is some silence from everyone else for a moment. They all took deep breaths.

One of them spoke.

"Myrmon, let’s go. We are on the move."

The formation disappeared.

Within the next two minutes, a dozen people appeared at the base.

Four of them are peak stage cultivators. Powerhouses of four different factions. The remaining eight are late stage cultivators.

All of them are carrying golden scrolls.

Myrmon looked at them and asked.

"Your factions better be prepared with the fields. If you die, it is completely on you."

They all exchanged glances, nodded and flew towards Hastin Village.

When they arrived, they made a circle around the bone dome, in the middle of the circle, Parth still hovered like the world is still at peace.

But they still felt the pressure. Parth being serene and calm was actually scaring them. Their hearts raced faster, their spine was tingling. Every fiber of their being told them to get the hell out of there. But they didn’t dare do that.

They had a plan to follow and they need to do it no matter what.

"Parth and people of Hastin village. We are here today, with our right to challenge the warriors of Hastin village.

Please come forward and accept your challenges."

One of the cultivators took a deep breath, gathered the courage and yelled out loud.

Parth didn’t even show so much as a frown. He just sat there in meditation.

The man who yelled out, is a peak stage powerhouse. Seeing that Parth didn’t react, he is actually relieved.

He opened his scroll and as if on cue, another power house opened his scroll as well.

The two golden scrolls turned bright.

"Both of us here admit our own inferiority and praise the superiority of warrior Bhim of Hastin village. Hence, we choose to issue a joint challenge against Bhim in an arena of our choice. Please accept our challenge."

Both of them extended their hands with the scrolls wide open. Their posture, expression, even tone, showed just how humble they are.

Their words are actually not empty. They meant whatever they said and it was only proven when the words on the scroll glowed with a much brighter golden light.

At that moment, Bhim appeared in front of the two with a huge grin on his face. His muscular body trembled in excitement as he accepted both the scrolls.

"I accept the challenge. However, since it is the arena of your choice, the bet shall be mine... you agree?"
