Re-Birth of a Genius. Creator/Destroyer

Chapter 2360: Streamline

Chapter 2360: Streamline

Sam kept his eye on the black skeleton throughout the fight.

He examined it through the energy vision. The fight went on for hours before he noticed that orb of red in the middle of the skeleton's core. Once that came, he gave instructions.

"All your patience is about to pay up guys. Follow my lead and keep it busy."

Sam activated his light fusion. While the guys fought the skeleton and kept it busy, he transformed himself into a beam of light and zapped towards the core.

He bore a hole through the skeleton at exactly the spot where the red orb is. The skeleton froze on the spot. The rest of the team immediately doubled down with the attacks, destroying it completely. The skeleton crumbled into pieces.

The participants still didn't relax. They are vigilant and didn't want to let their guards down. They guessed that the skeleton will reassemble again. But to their surprise, it didn't. The skeleton is now nothing more than a bundle of black bones.

Everyone is stumped.

"How did this happen?"

Hari wondered out loud. Crow and Rashma just shrugged at that question.

Sam meanwhile, collected the bones and addressed the group.

"Alright, I got all the information we need. From now on, we are going to follow a much more systematic and efficient plan. First, I am going to set up a special formation. A stationary one. One that doesn't need multiple people to operate.

In other words, a real formation.

I will be in charge of supervising its operations. The formation will be our battle zone. Rashma will be our bait and Hari will be her support if it is needed. From now on, none of you will speak with Drik and his followers we are in this together and I will try my best to get you all out, provided that you follow all of my instructions.

Including the one about not speaking to those idiots."

Sam paused and gave out formation discs to these people. One each.

"Use that. It is a concealment formation. It has faint healing effects as well. Activate it and sit down in this exact area to recover.

I want all of you to be in the best condition possible. You have three hours. I need to move out and make some preparations. If you need anything or have any questions, ask crow while I am away. He can contact me.

As long as it is not too troublesome and increases your attack power, I will try to accommodate you.

Last but not least. Do not, under any circumstances leave this place. Stay within the boundaries I set and you will not have any life threatening problems. Of course, don't

deactivate the formations until I come back."

With a load of instructions, Sam went out.

At the same time, not too far from here, someone is under a different concealment formation observing. They are unable to hear what Sam and the other students discussed, but they did manage to witness the entire battle.

He even saw the last move when the team took down the black skeleton.

When he saw Sam disappearing, he also left the place and went back to their original hide out. Ten minutes later.

"So, they just beat the crap out of the skeleton and it eventually broke down? And they took this long to take down one skeleton? Are you serious?" Drik asked his lackey with an expression of disbelief. That is one of the most ridiculous things he ever heard.

In his opinion, there is no good reason to spend four hours to take down one skeleton. Particularly, when their count is increasing by dozens every hour.

With all the criticism of Sam about how inefficient Drik's plans were, this appeared pretty stupid and contradictory.

"What else did they do? Did they use any special method to kill? A special trick? A formation? Special energy?"

"Nothing. Just constant attacks."

"This is ridiculous. Have you seen where Sam went?"

"No Idea. He disappeared like a ghost."

Drik thought for a long while and said.

"Alright, the next captured skeleton, we can just focus on destroying it like they did. Tell the formation team to make arrangements necessary."

"Okay."

They started their preparations.

Three hours passed. No one knew where Sam was and what he was doing in those three hours. He came back to their original location.

"Rashma, Hari. Go in that particular direction. You will come across a vulture skeleton that is just transforming into the black skeleton. Lure it here. Maintain a decent altitude. Don't come too low and don't go too high.

There is a rocky path and a cliff. That makes it easier for you to reduce its range of motion. Use it. I don't mind if you damage it, but it is better if it enters the formation while its

independently mobile."

Both of them left, nodding their heads. They didn't ask any questions and followed his instructions.

Sam then laid down the formation. He once again used a set of pre-made pillars. Once the formation is set, the pillars disappeared. Not even the people inside could see it.

It didn't take long for him to set up and it also didn't take long for Hari and Rashma to do their tasks. Rashma was in charge of being the bait while Hari made sure to restrict the movements of the skeleton. It flew at an incredible pace following Rashma. Sam stood at the entrance of the formation and gestured for them to come.

He then fell back into the formation, reappearing at its core, controlling it. Rashma and Hari entered the formation along with the Vulture skeleton.

The moment it entered, the Vulture crashed into the ground.

The force of gravity selectively applied on the vulture stuck it to the ground. When the vulture tried to flap its wings and fly, the gravity increased, even creating very minute fractures on its

wings.

It could still take some steps and move laterally, but its movements are very restricted and slow. It is as if its moving inside a thick, viscous gel like substance hindering its motion. The team started pouring the attacks down.

At the same time, they sensed a great influx of death energy from the surroundings that was injected into the black skeleton. This essentially increased the recovery rate of the skeleton by a hundred times over. It is a lot faster than the trinket Sam attached. The students weirdly didn't object and let Sam continue. The recover process is fast, the destruction is also fast. So, the skeleton reached its peak state a lot faster. When it reached that state, Sam landed the final blow destroying the core.

The vulture skeleton this time, was considerably intact. Only the core which is invisible to everyone else was destroyed. The bones lost their glow. With a wave of his hand, Sam stored

the skeleton away.

The students are surprised by how fast they have finished this skeleton.

It is a lot faster compared to the previous one. They barely spent more than forty minutes inside the formation, attacking it.

They didn't even have to expend much of their energy. They also realized that the formation supplied them with a lot of energy aiding their recovery.

They sat down immediately in meditation to recover. Rashma and Hari did the same, while Sam decided on the next target.

They thought Sam would go after the nearest one. However, he just picked another one from the list. Right now, the destroyed three skeletons. Including the first one Rashma destroyed on her own. All three of them are different types. Sam went for a fourth type of skeleton, even though it was relatively farther away.

They lured another skeleton and trapped it in the same formation. Sam changed the focus of the formation a bit. He still focused on hindering the movement, but also reduced the lightning attacks, instead used the earth element to draw up the spikes that hindered its

movements in a different way.

Because it was a boar skeleton. It moved mostly on the ground with ground related attacks. Sam disrupted its movements repeatedly making it a target suitable for rigorous beating.

While Sam's side is progressing very well, Drik is lost in his approach. He doesn't know what to do. He captured two more black skeletons after the first one. For some reason, the skeletons were easier to lure and they managed to make some modifications to formation to break the skeleton a bit, restrain it and then make it recover before isolating it. However, his team was beaten up pretty badly and most of the man power is in recover.

At the same time, he also noticed that more and more skeletons are appearing in the vicinity of his hide out. For a moment he doubted the concealment formation. But when checked, they didn't notice any anomalies.

This made him even more scared. All his approaches are dangerously close to leading him to

deadend.
