These are all the questions that haunted his mind, as he looked more and more into Hub, Sam and the overall situation of the Olympian realm.
However, these are the questions that he cannot answer now. Until then, all he could do is try to understand the Hub better and prepare.
Two more days passed with the things almost in the same situation.
However, only after Bloody Chariot received various messages from other academies and some outside forces did he understand that the outside world is actually burning.
The Vlachous family's situation which was abrupt to begin with had some developments. At the risk of losing some important resource points of their family, the clan went ahead and laid down a trap to catch a few of the perpetrators.
After expending tedious effort, they did manage to capture someone and interrogate them.
However, the results only made them become more wary of their situation.
The people turned out to be part of another Noble league family and that too a family of equal stature as the Vlachous.
The Vlachous family members grew so angry by this sudden and abrupt assault that they killed the two captives in a fit of anger. At first, they wanted to use these people as some bargaining chips. That is also the reason, they didn't just use some soul search or other disruptive method to interrogate them.
But after hearing part of the story from them, they couldn't control themselves.
They realized, they are not just being targeted by one family from the Noble league, but from around nine families. Out of which three of them can directly contend with Vlachous, while the remaining six are slightly inferior.
That is not even the worst part of the story.
They only managed to identify one family. The two captives don't know who the remaining eight families are.
They are cooperating, but only people who are handling the talks and deals between the families know who they are cooperating with.
In fact, even the family heads who are directly involved in this collaboration, don't know all the nine families that are involved. Each party only knew three to four of the nine.
So, it is no wonder that these small fries that got caught would not know any answers. However, the Vlachous didn't expect that there would be such a tight knit net being cast at them.
To think that they would even keep each other in the dark just to deal with them. They knew that they couldn't handle them that easily.

Christos didn't know if he was just seeing things because of how deep he was in with investigating Sam. But his gut feeling told him that all of this is related.
While he is brewing that anxiety, Bloody Chariot also received the news and this made him feel another wave of headache. He heard more bad news in the past few weeks that he had in decades that he spent on battlefield.
However, there is just one silver lining to all of this.
That is, the elders managed to decode one of the chips. The bird puppet chip was obviously less complex was broken and they managed to find the coordinates of the nest location.
Bloody Chariot decided that he would go to this expedition alone. Only after witnessing what is happening there, would be return and gather what is needed to perform a proper exploration there.
