Chapter 540: Admiral Rudra vs Ceilia
Chapter 540: Admiral Rudra vs Ceilia
“This is crazy. Why are they so strong?”
“Lily’s combat power measured to whooping 113k in the last battle at the end when she destroyed Berreta.”
“From 86k to 113k. What the fuck? Can a skill or a technique really boost them like that?”
“And my entire combat power is 32k…”
[Father: Boy, it seems like you got tough competition.]
[Planet President: Humph, our king will rise higher than them.]
[Mother: Don’t do anything risky, son. As long as you are alive, you can get stronger.]
“Brother, you got some good, supportive family.”
“Thank you, thank you. You didn’t have one?”
“I had an abusive family. I killed them long ago.”
“Oh…”
“Those two are at it. Current at 52k combat power, they are gradually increasing their intensity.”
…
In the next moment, both of their domains materialized and clashed in a colorful and violent symphony. The air twisted as Ceilina’s twilight-green mana bloomed outward like a living forest of spells—each rune, leaf, and petal carrying an effect potent enough to warp the surrounding space. Rudra’s domain slammed into it like a storm of vibrating colors swirling around a silent void, every hue shifting in unpredictable rhythms.
Ceilina flicked her wrist, and the ground rose beneath Rudra, forming spears of hardened nature essence that glowed with lunar flame. Rudra responded by stepping forward once, his foot cracking the floor. The spears shattered from their core before they could reach him, falling apart like brittle branches.
“You can break anything, huh?” Ceilina smiled, tapping her staff on the ground. “Then break this.”
The twilight forest of her domain shifted, leaves turning sharp as blades, petals releasing concentrated mana spores that targeted Rudra’s flow directly. Vines shot up, twisting into serpentine forms, each carrying a unique elemental trait—frost, lightning, plague, void-seep, lunar-burn—
Rudra’s fist moved.
One punch.
A ripple of color burst around him, shredding the incoming vines. Their internal spell structures collapsed instantly, turning the powerful attacks into fading motes of harmless light.
Ceilina’s pupils lit with amusement. “Hehe~ so you really are my type.”
Rudra didn’t react. He sprinted, a streak of shifting color tearing through the air, appearing right beside her. His elbow came down with terrifying weight, enhanced by Pulse Without Finality—his heartbeat thrumming through the world like a war drum.
Ceilina barely raised her staff in time.
The impact sent shock waves spiraling through her domain, cracking her own mana constructs. She was blasted back, boots carving a deep gash across the floor before she steadied herself.
“Oof… good hit.” She rubbed her ribs and grinned. “My turn.”
Her staff spun once.
The entire battlering shifted colors. Rifts opened behind her, each releasing a phenomenon—storms of petals that cut like blades, beams of concentrated mana, miniature vortexes of lunar force, homing spell-seeds that detonated on contact.
Rudra inhaled.
Pulse Without Finality erupted from his body again. The world around him warped as countless rhythmic pulses shot through the battlefield. The pulses hit every phenomenon Ceilina unleashed and ruptured their core laws. One by one, her attacks popped like bursting bubbles.
But Ceilina wasn’t done.
She clapped her hands.
The twilight forest around her surged upward in a spiral, condensing into a colossal blooming lotus towering over the arena. Its petals opened, revealing layers of runes, each representing her creations of offensive seeds, then everything merged into a massive convergence blast.
The lotus fired.
Rudra’s domain trembled.
His fist pulled back. Every color within Evermore Flow gathered around him, coating his body in a shimmering, prismatic aura. His pulse intensified, beating through the atmosphere.
Pulse Without Finality was a perfect true concept for him, allowing him to boost his precise and destructive martial style significantly.
They clashed.
The lotus beam met Rudra’s punch.
The explosion swallowed half the arena in a violent burst that tore apart both domains, ripping through barriers and platforms. Everyone was forced to raise protection as the shockwave surged outward.
Ceilina flew back, crashing into a fractured pillar, coughing blood. Rudra tumbled across the arena floor, cracks spiderwebbing under each impact.
Both slowly pushed themselves up, breathing heavily.
“You hit hard,” Ceilina said, wiping her mouth.
Rudra smirked faintly. “So do you.”
Her staff glowed again.
His fist tightened.
And they vanished at the same time.
A barrage of impacts rang like thunder—each collision of fist and staff shaking what remained of the battlering. Ceilina’s spells detonated point-blank. Rudra’s fists shattered phenomena with each strike.
They traded dozens of blows in seconds, neither yielding an inch.
Ceilina’s knee hit his stomach.
Rudra’s fist slammed into her shoulder.
Her palm burst with a lunar essence beam against his chest before he could break it or block it.
His pulse tore through her spell-bloom in retaliation.
“Fuck, they are surpassing Lily in terms of combat power!”
“114k!”
“115k!”
BOOM!
HURRR!
The battlering was destroyed, and both of them had flown upward to not involve others.
Admiral Rudra was gathering momentum as a tornado of dimensional blue motes formed and became brighter and stronger with each fist.
Ceilia was no less. Her seeds bloomed and created an array of flowers that rode the tornado while bombarding Admiral Rudra from all sides.
“Shit! It’s getting bigger!”
“Who will win?”
“Damn, this is a close fight.”
“Both of them are at 143k combat power…”
The audience was watching with bated breath.
All the newbies, young and old, were focused, their blood surging, because they were watching Grim Students like them, with the same stats, but with far higher combat power.
“It will end anytime now.” Almond blinked.
“Yeah. The one who can pierce a blow inside and reduce the Life Power of the opponent will win.” Vier grinned. “Anytime now.”
Crack!
BOOOM!
Both domains flickered and vanished.
Admiral Rudra and Ceilia shot back down at the same time, not too far from the Regalons, creating a small crater as dust and smoke spread.
Their Life Power indicators plummeted in tandem.
“Cough…”Ceilina pointed her staff at him. “Still standing?”
Rudra wiped blood from his chin. “Still hitting.”
They charged once more—
But this time, their bodies gave out at the same moment.
Their final strikes collided, and they were both blasted backward, collapsing onto the ruined floor, unable to rise.
“It’s… a tie?!”
“Those monsters!”
“I couldn’t follow half of that fight!”
“How did they not kill each other?!”
Vier burst into laughter. “Well, it was a good fight.”
Lily nodded her head. “Mm. Both are stubborn.”
“One tie, eh?” Almond wryly smiled.
“One tie, six wins, one loss. Perfect, right?” Vier chuckled, clearing, indicating that he would defeat Almond in their fight.
On the ground, Rudra breathed weakly, turning his head toward Ceilina.
“That date… still on?”
Ceilina, barely conscious, let out a small laugh.
“Obviously.”
And both passed out at the same time.
