“I shall attack.”
One of the group leaders sitting on the throne which had the flag of the Midradas clan spoke up and floated forward. Tall humanoid people with blue-orange scales, and fin-like ears.
The other people of Midradas clans had different colors of scales and ears, but their body features like the design of scales, ears, and eyes with unique thick hair were the same.
“I am Duek Lang of Mirdaras Clan,” the man spoke as he raised his hand, which soon conjured a sleek and badass spear of whirling dark blue liquid with orange patterns before it was soon lit up with olive-colored flames.
A cat avatar immediately popped before him.
“There we have our challenger from the Big Ten! How confident are you, mister Duek Lang?”
“Stop disturbing me. Go away.”
“It looks like he needs to be quite focused to destroy the shield of an Immortal King.”
Lang’s lips twitched. Immortal King?! One of the Immortal Kings destroyed and killed a Supreme Emperor with a single attack even though it went through a shield beforehand.
Lang wasn’t about to hold back anything, and everyone could feel that.
“Woah, woah, woah, mister Duek Lang is exerting quite a lot of force, eh?” the cat zoomed out to take the full pose of Duek Lang.
“Let’s measure him.”
In the stream, everyone saw a bar gradually filling up.
“Oh okay! Mister Lang is powering up, alright!”
“The bar is filling up and oh, oh, it reached the Omega-1 power level! Folks, this spear is officially capable of destroying a Tier-1 planet!”
[ What the fuck? Tier-1 Planets are supposed to be fucking tough even against Immortal Emperor,s no? ]
[ Duh, that’s the point. Omega-1 power level is where the top Supreme Emperor’s measurement starts. This means that Lang is officially capable of participating in the Ascension Games. ]
[ Damn. I guess Queen Regalon is going to lose that shield then. ]
[ Wait, then what was the power level was King Regalon’s arrow? ]
[ That was the main mystery, idiot. Nobody could measure its power level. ]
[ What will happen now? Will that spear destroy the shield? ]
[ How many levels are above Omega-1? That bar is rising, but not much. It’s getting stabilized. ]
[ Yeah, he is ready to shoot that spear. ]
[ Well, there are Omega-1 to Omega-3, but the gap between them and scaling is quite hard. It requires even willpower to influence the attack in a constructive way to release Omega-2 and above level of output. ]
At that moment, the chat suddenly stopped as Duek Lang unleashed the spear.

It vanished, but thanks to Krala’s stadium arrangement, everyone saw the spear in a slower motion in Hyper Plane as it tore through the space and struck the giant crimson flower shield.
Everyone’s eyes were glued to the screen as they saw the clash.
The spear’s tip pierced through the flower upon impact, but before going further, the flower suddenly glittered as its thick petals cracked all over, but in a pattern.
Due to the slow motion, everyone saw the spear’s tip shattering while it continued to pierce through the flower shield.
The shield was also shattering, but the shatter was patterned and everyone could see the patterns taking shape of some kind of symbol with a pair of eyes in the middle.
The spear, entirely inside the shattering flower shield, was also breaking down.
And then…poof.
The shield shattered into sparkling dust and the spear vanished.
“It’s broken!” Verina exclaimed, relief clearly visible in her eyes.
And just as the chat also exploded with comments, everyone heard a harrowing scream.
The camera quickly focused on the source as everyone saw Duek Lang screaming with his entire scale body shattering and blood oozing out from his eyes, nose, ears, and mouth.
“Stop! Stop! H-“
*Bloom!*
Everyone heard the distinct sound of something growing and shattering.
In the next moment, Duek Lang’s entire body expanded and transformed into a giant crimson crystal flower with dark, red, and purple patterns.
“Voila!” Lily grinned. “It worked. A Curse-type off-defense through my new intent, Blooming Ruination. Wonderful, right?”
“That’s scary,” Almond wryly smiled.
‘I thought I’d use an idea I got when I remembered Kexell’s powers. My Blooming Ruination and the way I’ve recently combined my new Ability Tree’s assets with Parade of Dreadspire Kingdom could allow me to use some curse-type sequence using the Darkness element as a medium, and it worked in the way I intended.’
‘Blooming Ruination is interesting. It has the more arcane influence of yours,’ Almond said as he blinked, recalling how the shield broke on itself to also take the attack with it and executed the curse sequence to target the attacker with a crazy amount of debuffs and gathered power that got fed to her Blooming Ruination.
‘Yep, with your debuffs getting in the way, once this curse hits, the target is basically ruined to death unless they forcefully resist it with their willpower and receive a purification from someone else in time.’
And indeed, the reaction of the crowd was interesting.
While the Big Ten’s Supreme Emperors were dumbfounded, and the chat was in frenzy, Regalons and others were thrilled.
“Damn, that girl just ruined a top Supreme Emperor, right?” Natalia clicked her tongue.
“How mad is that going to make them?” Julian asked as he looked at their reaction. “They look like they ate shit.”
“Well, they did eat raw shit,” Marcus sneered.
“Will they attack altogether now?” Arjun narrowed his eyes.
“Maybe, I am unable to tell,” Admiral Rudra said before he glanced at Big D to several meters of his left, floating beside Krala.
“Meh, it doesn’t matter,” Big D casually waved his paw. “Almond and Lily won’t lose as long as they don’t get caught off-guard in the high-intensity battle of two versus ninety-eight.”
[ Holy crap, what the fuck just happened? ]
[ Fuck me sideways, that’s a freaking Supreme Emperor of Omega-1 that died! ]
[ An Immortal King of this power…]
[ This was counter, by the way. The shield broke, but the dude died. Sad. ]
