‘So all Emperors need to work together to defeat those three in fifteen minutes or when the tide arrives, this planet will be over.’

‘How exactly strong are those Hollow Defilers?’

They must have modifiers for sure, but even without that, we measured their bodily parameters to reach at least 20,000. Mental-affecting abilities will be completely useless against them because they are beyond corrupted and only have an impulse of destruction that is directed by a controller. ‘So there’s no other choice but to overpower them to kill them? Yeah, we need serious preparations. Let’s begin by creating top-notch arrays revolving around main attackers. We need combo moves to heighten powers and be buffed by the Power Boosts to kill them.’

‘Emperor Yezewan, you are the one with the highest will and most potent attacking moves. We’ll start with you and eliminate one Hollow Defiler in a prepared one-shot combo move led by you.’

‘Leave it to me. Make sure the other two are contained. I can move to them if the first attempt is a success.’

We also need to make a plan B. Given that they are insanely strong and we have one revive with us, in case more of us die first without us being able to kill, what should we do?’

‘Yeah, once some of us start falling, such strong enemies will snowball the rest of us.’

‘Let’s also prepare for mass evacuation. Our Dynasty has enough Space-attributed resources to activate the Spatial Film Phasing formation over the whole planet and teleport everyone to our second planet. Almond wasn’t participating in that, but having heard enough, he finally spoke.

‘I’ll kill one Hollow Defiler, without fail. But I can’t be sure about the second.’

Hearing such words from an unfamiliar presence in the soul network, everyone was startled.

‘Who are you?’

‘Almond, how sure are you able to kill one, and how much support do you need?’ one of the Supreme Emperors asked, the one with a thick brown beard, a hybrid of demon and elf.

All Supreme Emperors were aware of Almond and also aware of the strange power that was making everyone forget him.

Seeing how the Supreme Emperor asked the question as if he had the capability, many Emperors were shocked.

Of course, some who had forgotten Almond a couple of times managed to remember him, but those were the late-stage Emperors who had a Will just one stage lower than him.

Among all Supreme Emperors, only one Supreme Emperor had Will at the same stage as Almond, and that was Emperor Yezewan, an Arcane Champion like Almond.

‘I don’t need support,’ Almond answered after thinking for a second. ‘If I can’t kill him on my own, it doesn’t matter if I have support or not. That’s how the move I am going to make works.’

‘Judging by what we’ve observed so far and sharing our findings regarding you, you have a way to empower yourself significantly, so I assume you plan to overpower a Hollow Defiler with your best shot, right?’

‘Yes.’

‘Your elemental masteries are not at a satisfactory level, but your conceptual powers of Ability Trees are at a high enough power level already. Still, your abilities have elements in them, and that means they can be empowered. As someone who has Space mastery at peak, let me give you a Sigil.’

‘This sigil will empower space-related attributes to the quality of Ascent-rank mastery.’

Almond blinked. ‘Yeah, that will provide a significant boost to my attack. Thanks, I’ll take it.’

Internally, Almond wondered if using this Sigil would give some contribution to this Supreme Emperor in case he kills a Hollow Defiler with his attack.

He wished he could ask, but he wasn’t going to ask it in the soul network.

I am getting greedy now’… but why not?’ Almond’s eyes glinted. He didn’t need to worry about others.

If shit hit the fan, he could take his House of Regalon away instantly back to the planet and stay safe until this shitshow was over.

And so, Almond decided not to use the Sigil at first. If he failed, then he would use it, but he was fairly sure that if he gave his best shot, he would be able to kill a Hollow Defiler after using his Unbound Eyes to find a weakness and boost his move with Power Boost.

‘I’ll 100% die after making this move, but since Grimworld gave a revive, I’ll be fine.’

And so, Almond stayed at the front line with Lily.

“Babe, I know what you’re going to do,” Lily said as she turned her head to him. Her face was serious. “I am also going to try using Absolute Dreadspire Devour on a Hollow Defiler.”

Almond wryly smiled, “But you will instantly die without being able to make any moves if you use that on a Hollow Defiler.”

“That’s why I will wait until you kill a Hollow Defiler, get killed, and revive. So after that, you can prevent me from exploding after I use Absolute Dreadspire Devour and release an attack.”

“Mhmm, the idea is not bad. Even if your attack didn’t kill it, you will gain a huge contribution.”

Lily nodded and then frowned. “But judging from the report of those Supreme Emperors, we still don’t have enough information on those things. The only thing they measured was a bodily aura, and that might not be their full power.”

“Yeah, and they know too. Why else would they want to prepare that much and rely on combo attacks to kill? If it’s only 20,000 stats in the body, then even Supreme Emperors can kill them,” Almond nodded and continued, “From what they said, these Hollow Defilers have unstable minds, and they are creatures housing corruption brought by that strange energy, so they don’t have Arcane Constitution either.”

“Whatever they have, it’s going to be resistant and powerful. Otherwise, Grimworld wouldn’t issue emergency quests with timers on their deaths in case we fail while giving everyone a revive and a power boost.”

Lily smiled as Almond finished speaking and said, “But I am excited, and I can feel you are too.”

Almond laughed, “Of course. Let’s kill them and get some rewards.”
