Re-Awakening: I Ascend with a Legendary class

Chapter 299 Survivor (9), Spirit Dealer Grasped

“Is he mad?!”

“Yo, it’s over for him.”

“Seriously, fuck this guy. I am going to lose my money now.”

“Ten minutes left till the third day starts.”

“This bastard dropped to 57th.”

“Wake up!”

The audience was going mad as it neared the end of the second day.

Almond had been in meditation ever since he defeated Sanguine Silverite Kong.

With no activity on gathering points, his rank dropped significantly, and the audience who wanted him to wake up continued to wait for hours.

Those who put money on him were especially mad, but none of that was Almond’s concern as he was weaving together something no one was ready for.

Arcane was obeying him and his mind was working at a transcendental level as he put together the power of Spirit Dealer whilst expanding it to new heights.

While Almond was in his singular focus state, Malin was chilling nearby, eating and training, and occasionally going for swimming plays in the lake.

He didn’t care when Almond continued because he had already lost.

Only the top 100 would get rewards, and he was at the bottom as the only survivor with zero points.

Whistling as he swam on bareback, Malin grinned upon seeing Almond meditating on the tree. “Meditating this long…boss is cooking something I know and it’s related to the strange things he had been doing after killing monsters.”

“Hehe, I can’t wait to see what he brings out next.”

Malin was feeling good inside. This new student was clearly a cut above the rest, and in the ruthless world of this academy, students had to form groups to survive longer.

Seeing Almond and noticing his potential, Malin decided to stick with Almond and become his trusted.

*Splash*

“La la la la…” Malin sang and began swimming like a fish, making the audience outside speechless.

“I shall~ Become the strongest underling~ of the Mad Nut Almond~ la la la…”

“…”

“…”

“…”

“…”

When only a minute was left until the beginning of the third day and overhaul of monsters, Almond’s eyes opened.

Standing up, he opened his domain and teleported himself and Malin who was swimming in the lake away a few times to find a horde of monsters, and arrived at a group of over two hundred Crystal Dune Scorpions.

The third day had begun when he arrived here, increasing the number of monsters as well as their stats slightly.

A thread pierced Malin while he floated dumbfounded, supported by a spatial box Almond created.

“Provide Prana,” Almond said before he vanished.

Enchanting his sword to the max with his special nanoblades made from a combination of all his elements—Lightning, Sand, Lumeir, Space, he flew like an unpredictable bolt of lightning with Lumeir Lightning Flow.

In a single second at the speed of 100,000 kilometers per second, Almond killed one hundred scorpions with his swords.

Due to the sheer pressure and speed of his strikes, their cut-off pieces were flung simultaneously, painting the landscape with their blood and gore.

Almond clawed his hand in the sky as he targetted the 100 dead bodies while their souls were still anchored and activated the sequence of creating spirits, scanning their Arcane Eidos, and superimposing it in blueprint structures of their body, mind, and soul before copying them and creating a spirit with his Prana.

The cost was fixed at 10 Prana per creation of a Spirit. But now…he wielded them in their ultimate capabilities.

The hundred spirits glowed and exploded with a simple trigger and adjustment in their structure with his mind that required no Prana.

Each spirit exploded with a sharp burst of tiny spikes that shot everywhere, activating the special explosion in every single one of the spirits.

Not only that, Almond also designed the special explosion himself.

Within the spirit, which had every detail of its owner in detail due to copying of their Arcane Eidos, Almond could adjust everything of a Spirit at his will.

And this wasn’t all.

Almond pulled the new 100 spirits that resulted from the deaths of remaining one hundred scorpions and stretched his hands forward and palm open.

‘Prana!’

Malin immediately provided Prana.

In the next second, a terrifying maw whirling with green, red, blue, and black flames manifested. It stretched a 5-meter radius in a circle, shocking Malin and everyone who was watching his screen.

Almond sent the hundred spirits into the maw as it burned intensely, bursting with colorful flame sparks.

Five seconds later, one hundred shining dark brown orbs with dark green and black patterns that resemebled the scoprion’s appereance emerged from the whirlpool.

“What the fuck?” Malin blinked.

The audience outside was shocked and wondered what those orbs were.

Alas, nobody but Almond knew what these were.

[Crystal Burst Bomb]

-Type: One-time-use Item.

-Effect:

—> Explodes with crystal shrapnels. High penetration, vitality burning poison, high pain.

This window was something Almond created as a systematic sequence. It only had information he knew. He knew their powers, their abilities, and everything and so, he could design this bomb-type’s structure by operating in the spirits, creating a desired product as an outcome.

“Next,” Almond muttered as he put the hundred bombs away and waved his hand.

“Come out, Meliora the Elixir of Chaos.”

Meliora appeared with her body still having the strange spots.

But Almond pointed his hand at her and infused his Prana.

Maliora breathed with closed eyes as her painful expression vanished, replaced with comfort.

The spots vanished and she became complete, her appearance regal yet wild, her aura eerily graceful.

“Thank you, Master.”

“Stand still. I need to complete you.”

Almond’s eyes flickered while his hands unleashed ten threads that entered Meliora’s body.

“M-master…” Meliora flinched, a blush appearing on her cheeks as she felt an intense wave of itchy comfort. It was like inches appeared in her body, but Almond scratched them and spread a wave of comfort.

However, Almond was in focus.

‘Conciousness-based Soul construction completed.’

‘Arcane Eidos construction completed.’

‘Soul Avatar formation completed.’

‘Meliora, follow my instruction.’

‘Y-Yes, Master.’

Five minutes later, a powerful aura suddenly gushed out of Meliora.

Her eyes released light and her body was shining while Almond’s threads were inside her source space.

‘Good. Now let’s start converting your skills into abilities. I’ll help, so it won’t take long.’

‘Thank you, Master.’

Ten minutes later, Almond was done as he took a deep breath and closed his eyes.

‘Assemble the Spirit Wraith Creating Sequence.’

He gained the final data he wanted to complete his class—Creating Spirit Wraiths with a system of the second layer, with their artificial soul awakened, Soul Sea formed, Prana Sea formed, Arcane Eidos formed, Arcane Constitution formed, and Arcane Board formed.

‘Completed.’

Almond opened his eyes with a reserved yet excited smile forming on his face.

“Master, are you alright?”

“Yeah, I’m fine.”

Almond smiled and teleported beside Malin with Meliora. “Wear your clothes. We are going to have a long hunt.”

Looking at his rank, Almond cracked his neck. “I dropped hard, but now, we aren’t stopping before hitting the top 10.”
