Chapter 238 Dungeon Raids (1/2)
“This is indeed a good method,” Arjun smiled. “It seems that we’ll have to discuss this method when you come here for two of my S-rank Dungeons, Almond.”
As expected by Admiral Rudra, the first old monster revealed himself, but not the secret of the method.
‘Arjun noticed, but he didn’t reveal anything,’ Rudra internally chuckled.
“Not bad, this chip is indeed enough for what you want right now,” Shiro-sen smilingly nodded. “If you have anything else you want, don’t hesitate to tell me.”
‘This old coot was the first one to know about it, I’m sure,’ Admiral smiled. ‘And he didn’t reveal it. Now, the other few rascals also better hide it.’
In the next few seconds, Admiral Rudra got a few messages from old monsters, and he burst out laughing, startling everyone in the video conference, but a few of those who sent the messages wryly smiled at his reaction.
“What happened, Admiral?” League of Firefly guild leader asked as she blinked.
“I’m sure someone sent him a funny joke,” Shiro-sen chuckled. “Anyway, can we consider this matter concluded then?”
Everyone voiced their agreement with a nod.
“Almond, see you later.”
“Put my dungeon on the early list, brat.”
“Mine too, but it has to be earlier than this old fart Silvester.”
Almond smiled and said, “I’ll be visiting you two last. Thank you, seniors, see you all soon.”
After saying that, he left the conference call while making them laugh at his response while other old monsters made fun of Silvester and Hiroshi before leaving.
Admiral Rudra sent Almond the list of S-rank Dungeons numbering a total of 24 since some of the S-rank Dungeons were being cleared daily otherwise the number would be way more.
Almond wasted no time as the list he got was detailed with each dungeon’s density value and current border color.
Admiral Rudra also told him to schedule golden and red-bordered dungeons first.
‘It’s already 4 a.m. in the morning, so I have the whole 28th of December, and then the 29th, 30th, and 31st,’ Almond’s eyes glinted. ‘I am going to clear as many as I can.’
He started making 28th December’s schedule, putting five dungeons in all, all of them being gold-bordered and they were the only gold-bordered dungeons in the list.
After making the list, he directly sent this to Admiral Rudra.
And he directly sent them to the five people who had those dungeons.
Arjun Maheshwari, Maheshwari clan.
Theo Gabris, Gabris family.
Annika Von Ricther, Von Ricther family.
Quinn Firefly, League of Firefly guild.
Liam Sunbreak, Proximax Guild.
[Almond: Admiral, I am going to the Maheshwari clan’s location in ten minutes. Please notify them.]
[Rudra: Alright. Also, are you going on your big ship? It’s better you go with it to make your impression since the ship’s existence is revealed to many already and it’s better to show it to the people of our world.]
[Almond: Got it.]
Afterward, Almond went to the beach where his Spirit Wraiths, Lily, Natalia, and Mira, were doing combat training.
After notifying them about his departure, Almond promptly summoned his ship and got onboard he waved his hand at Lily with a chuckle, “I’ll be home late today, honey. See ya.”
Lily cutely snorted and said in a joking tone, “Humph, finish work fast and come home early, darling~ I’ll give you a present box with myself in it.”
…
Almond soon arrived at the Maheswari clan and met up with old monster Arjun, his two sons and two daughters who were married, and his grandsons.
But after a brief introduction, elder Arjun’s team was ready to enter along with himself.
S-rank Dungeon—Kairagon of Mighty Kingdom.
The Kairagon of Mighty Kingdom was a colossal ruin; its past grandeur was now twisted into a fortress of hostility.
The party appeared in front of massive stone gates that led to a winding path lined with spectral banners that rippled in the unnatural wind.
The path was patrolled by armored humanoid monsters—ghostly knights whose spectral blades emitted an eerie hum with dark green and dark red glows.
[Mighty Spectral Knight]

“These knights are almost as strong as mini-boss in that other S-rank Dungeon I went,” Almond blinked.
“Hey, don’t tell me you’re scared already,” Preeti Maheshwari said with a chuckle. She was the daughter of Arjun’s youngest sister and a Super Rookie once upon a time, who was now one of the youngest Platinum-rank Adventurers.
Although she didn’t have a rank in the top 100 like the other two young Platinum rankers—Valentina and Arjun’s oldest grandson, who is considered the strongest man under the age of 25.
Almond was about to reply to Preeti, but elder Arjun suddenly asked him a surprising question, “Almond, can you handle these knights on your own?”
The other eight members of the party were startled.
“Clan head, isn’t he just a gold-rank Adventurer? How can he hope to kill all of them?” a middle-aged man asked with a frown.
“Nope, you just need to watch if he says yes now,” Arjun chuckled as he looked at Almond with a faint smile. “Can you or not?”
“Well….” Almond said as he cracked his neck and walked towards the gates with the path ahead of it littered with around 100 Mighty Spectral Knights in a narrow alley.
The other two sides of the pathways were completely dark, meaning the dungeon ended there, so falling would mean death.
At the end of this path was a huge gate with large and wide walls—the entry into the next area of this Kingdom-based Dungeon.
‘I had to show my power because I wanted to clear the dungeons fast, so I might as well show a bit as I planned.’
Almond took out his legendary sword and used his Espada Ad Grimveil, but shrank its size to just 50 meters in radius.
He didn’t want to reveal that he could expand it to a whopping 4000 meters in radius. If not others, senior Arjun would be able to sense the presence of his domain.
And he did indeed as his eyes flickered upon seeing Almond using the skill.
“Well, I can kill all of them, though I’d need to rest a bit after that,” Almond said with a grin hidden from them since his back was facing them.
“Well then, go ahead and show us,” Arjun smiled.
