The suddenly appeared sound of the bell seemed to instantly pierce through the forest.

Su Muyao listened attentively as she headed towards it, only to find that the previously serene air around her had suddenly turned frigid, bringing gusty winds and swirling snowflakes.

Fragments of fine white snow appeared out of thin air, spinning and flying everywhere.

The mountain forest was also enveloped in white mist, quickly shrouding the entire ancient forest.

The dense fog surged and rose, completely enveloping Su Muyao.

The gentle Dao Rhyme that had just been reshaped in Heaven and Earth was instantly isolated by the mist.

As if she had entered another world.

Once the wind and snow eased a little, and the fog settled heavily around her, she realized that this was no longer the newly born woodland.

This was a deeper and more tranquil ancient forest.

In the distance, the path forward was so hazy it was hard to make out.

Su Muyao lowered her head to look for the previous pink kitten, only to find that the kitten had disappeared.

Yet in the deepest part of the mist, there was a bamboo house standing silently.

The bamboo house was entirely made of green bamboo, simple and elegant, surrounded by a small courtyard fenced off and seemingly planted with flowers and plants inside.

The warm and dim light from the lanterns seeped through gaps in the bamboo windows, spreading a gentle halo amidst the pervasive cold mist and fine snow.

Su Muyao found the scene before her overly bizarre.

She couldn’t understand what was happening.

And on the door hung a bell; the bell sound from earlier seemed to be caused by the wind blowing past the eaves of the bamboo house, through the bell, producing the sound.

Su Muyao looked around, and indeed, there wasn’t a shadow of a person, nor were there any beasts or insects to be seen.

She used her Wood Element Ability to probe, even leaping onto a tree, still unable to see beyond the mist.

She could only walk towards the bamboo house.

When she reached outside the bamboo house, she vaguely seemed to hear some weeping, a sobbing and sorrowful cry.

And it sounded like a male beastman’s cry, causing a weird feeling to arise in Su Muyao’s heart.

"System, system..."

Su Muyao wanted to inquire from the system but found that the system had no sound.

Hence, Su Muyao hesitated a bit.

After a moment, the system emitted a weak voice, "Host, I am about to upgrade, very sleepy, want to sleep, so host, take care of yourself for now."

Sun Muyao said anxiously, "Take a look for me, is there any problem here?"

The system replied, "No problem, the environment is very safe, without even a hint of malice, host, rest assured."

After speaking, the system fell silent.

Su Muyao found Xiao Xing seemed to have fallen asleep too, leaving her to ask at the fence, "Is anyone there?"

As soon as she asked, the picket gate of the courtyard fence automatically opened, and even the door to the bamboo house opened automatically for Su Muyao.

"Please come in..."

A distant and ethereal voice came from inside, like the wind blowing through the bamboo forest.

But this voice carried a faint sobbing tone, as if the speaker was crying.

The sound was apparently coming from inside the bamboo house, yet felt as though it was coming from far away.

This person should be a male beastman.

Su Muyao actually wanted to ask where this was and what was going on with the mist, and she wanted to leave here.

Otherwise, Jing Chu might get anxious.

Also, what happened to the injured pink cat from earlier.

It disappeared in a blink.

Su Muyao carefully took steps to walk inside.

As the system said, she indeed didn’t feel even a trace of malice.

With her current superpower level, she could sense even the slightest hint of malice.

Reaching the entrance of the bamboo house, Su Muyao said, "Um, I’m coming in."

After she spoke, she entered the place.

Once inside, she quickly saw a cold and ethereal man sitting by the bedside.

The key was his clothes were disheveled, exposing a seductively alluring chest.

The cold white porcelain-like skin, clearly defined collarbone curve, the clean contour of muscular waist and abdomen, visibly distinct, tight yet smooth.

With each breath, he rose and fell gently, slender yet possessing a lethal power and allure.

Going further down...

The barely revealing garments, even more alluring than if he were stripped, making viewers thirsty at a glance.

Su Muyao exclaimed, "Ah..."

"Sorry, sorry, I... I didn’t mean it."

Su Muyao spoke, having already turned around.

Completely caught off guard by such a scene, she felt very embarrassed.

She immediately wanted to run out of the room, but the door somehow had shut, leaving Su Muyao unable to escape.

"This door... why doesn’t it open?"

Su Muyao wanted to turn around, but recalling the man’s appearance made her feel it’s an impossible choice.

She tried using her ability but noticed there seemed to be a restriction, rendering her abilities ineffective.

The man slowly got up from the bed; he seemed to feel he didn’t seduce enough, intentionally tugging at his clothes again, "Wife, I have finally waited for you."

"You have finally come, come to save me..."

He said this with a voice carrying a sobbing tone.

"No, I am not your wife..."

Su Muyao reflexively turned around to explain, but saw his clothes still like that, turning crimson as she looked away again.

"Can you put your clothes on first?"

"Once the clothes are on, we can talk."

She was too anxious earlier, failing to notice his face.

Yet racking her brain, she couldn’t recall which beast husband this was for her.

It could be she didn’t see clearly.

But it’s unlikely.

Her beast husbands don’t have this style.

"Wife, is it that you dislike seeing me?"

"Don’t like how I look now?"

"Or have you gotten other beast husbands and forgotten me?"

"Also, considering how weak I am now, injured, it’s normal for you not to like this look, it couldn’t invoke your pity."

Su Muyao, listening to such words, got a headache.

What is with this person?

Why say such inexplicable things?

Their voice carried an ounce of sorrow and brokenness.

Like they truly felt hurt.

"I said I am not your wife, stop mistaking me."

"Wife, without even looking at me, how do you know?"

"Wife has indeed forgotten me, I knew it..."

"Not your fault wife, it’s my fault for hurting you before."

Saying this, he had already moved to Su Muyao’s side, yet started crying behind her, tone carrying grievance.

Su Muyao now became anxious, "You... you stop crying, first put your clothes on properly."

Seeing Su Muyao with her eyes closed, not willing to look, he helplessly had to tidy up his clothes.

"I’m alright now."

Only then did Su Muyao turn around to look at him, first noticing his clothes and then gazing at his entire persona.

Only then did she notice, he had a tall stature, cold temperament, long pink hair, and attire all pink, yet his face was blurry and hard to discern.

She could feel his facial features were extremely refined, but it was unclear.

Despite the familiarity he gave off.

Yet it was like a mist obscured him completely, leaving his exact appearance indistinct.

Moreover, his hair and clothing color seemed to merge into one, unlike the actual color of clothing.

He observed Su Muyao’s unfamiliar and resistant look, anxiously saying, "Wife, take a closer look at me, do you not remember me?"

Su Muyao blinked, asking, "Who are you?"

"No, we shouldn’t know each other, where is this place, how do I leave? "

Su Muyao felt that she should not care about strangers too much; she wanted to leave here first.

First figure out what kind of place this is.
