Chapter 3300: Wanted to Leave a Deep Impression
“We can find a place to test my ability,” Armor Paige said to Ning Shu.
Ning Shu didn’t want to partner with Paige. Next time, he might just serve her a dish made of shit.
And from what just happened, it was clear Paige was very calculating.
Not exactly scheming, but his tricks ran deep. You never knew what move he’d pull; it was impossible to guard against.
They weren’t big things, but they left people furious.
This was just their First meeting, and she was pranked.
“You’re angry because of my behavior. It’s only because this is our first time meeting, I wanted to leave a deep impression,” Paige said to Ning Shu.
Ning Shu: “Mm, very deep impression. Lifelong, unforgettable.”
Dagger Mu: …
Damn.
“How about testing Paige’s strength? He’s really powerful,” Dagger Mu said anxiously.
Ning Shu shot him a look. “What does his strength have to do with you?”
“I just want you to see Paige’s strength.”
“You’ve seen it before?” Ning Shu crossed her arms, tapped her finger, and looked at Dagger Mu.
What was he so anxious about?
“I—I haven’t seen it, but I’ve heard about it.”
Ning Shu thought to herself: since Dagger Mu insisted she had to see, then she’d see.
Ning Shu nodded. “Alright.”
She stretched out her hand. Lar transformed into a crossbow and leapt into her grasp.
Paige stood there. “Just shoot an arrow at me.”
Ning Shu smiled slightly. “That’s no fun. How about you attach yourself to Mu instead?”
Paige frowned. Dagger Mu was a fallen weapon—other weapons near him would feel uncomfortable under his influence.
Ning Shu rested the crossbow on her shoulder and looked at Armor Paige and Dagger Mu. “What’s wrong, no confidence? Isn’t Paige supposed to be one of the very best defensive weapons?”
Paige smiled, his fine golden hair shining in the sunlight. “Of course.”
As he spoke, Paige transformed into golden armor, covering Dagger Mu.
The armor could adjust size freely, and it fit Dagger Mu’s small body perfectly, wrapping him inside.
Ning Shu raised the crossbow, narrowed one eye, and aimed at the armor on Dagger Mu.
Dagger Mu felt nervous. After all, he’d seen this damned woman slaughter moon beasts like she was cutting tofu.
Ning Shu pulled the trigger and released an arrow. The arrow shot out weakly, gave a light ding as it tapped the armor, and fell to the ground.
Dagger Mu: …
Armor Paige: …
Ning Shu clapped. “What an amazing defensive weapon!”
Paige shifted back into human form, staring at Dagger Mu with a doubtful look.
Dagger Mu hurriedly said, “She really is strong, really! Even Lar, that defective product, is powerful in her hands.”
Ning Shu suddenly appeared in front of Dagger Mu, grabbed his neck, and lifted him up.
“What are you plotting?” Ning Shu stared at Dagger Mu. “My tolerance for you has limits. I will never allow you to harm my Nicole or Lar.”
“What, you bring over a weapon, hoping to take Lar’s place, make me abandon Lar, and then succeed in driving a wedge between us?”
Dagger Mu struggled hard, both hands prying at Ning Shu’s hand which was gripping his neck.
A dagger appeared in his hand, and he stabbed fiercely at Ning Shu’s hand.
Ning Shu released his neck, and Dagger Mu fell to the ground with a thud.
“A wolf is still a wolf. It can never become a sheep.” Ning Shu spoke to Lar.
A fallen weapon would forever endure the torment of emotions from the moment of its fall.
