280 Confidence Of Slaying A Heretic God
The Holy Book Of Zenchianism was in a pure white cover with golden linings at its edges in a cursive font. Its title was placed on the center of the front cover in a dark gold font color.
Distere recognized the book that Allen had taken out from his system inventory since Distere also had a copy of it.
How could Distere not recognize it when he used the Holy Book Of Zenchianism to preach about Lord Zenchi’s eminence before he got caught by his family?
Distere had underestimated his parent’s devotion to Gaia and because of that, he was almost executed just for spreading Lord Zenchi’s religion in this world.
It was fortunate for him that Allen saved him in time or else he would have already been burned at the stake.
And after he found out that Allen and his chat group members also had the same mission as him of spreading Lord Zenchi’s eminence, Distere’s full attention was on Allen.
Distere was curious as to what the third sub-task was.
“The third sub-task is slaying 10 Heretic Gods. And by Heretic Gods, I meant those False Gods such as Gaia and Zeus.”
Hearing Allen’s words, Distere sprayed out the cola in his mouth.
At that moment, Allen created a psychic barrier in time that blocked the cola that Distere had spat out.
“Holy shit!”
Distere screamed out in surprise.
Distere didn’t expect that the chat group was filled with so many powerhouses that they even dared to slay the Gods of this world.
One should know that the Heretic Gods were the strongest existence in Distere’s world and they even have a religion and believers who worshiped them.
The wars that happened in Distere’s world were mostly because of crusades and holy wars that were caused by opposing faiths from the people toward the God they believed in.
But unlike in Allen’s world, the gods in Distere’s world often interfered in the mortal world. Such as Gaia, the goddess of earth, blessed the land of Gaia Kingdom so that it wasn’t difficult for them to have abundant crops.
Because of the Gods’ interference, the inhabitants of Distere’s world were much more fanatical when it came to conveying their faith in their god. After all, they were given proof that their god blessed and looked after them unlike in Allen’s world where it wasn’t proven that gods existed.
They would go as far as causing a holy war just to prove that their faith was stronger than the other believers’ faith.
Distere was well aware that the Heretic Gods were a powerful existence and that they were truly worthy of being called a god. The feats that those gods performed were beyond what a mortal was capable of.
That was why, Distere was beyond shocked that Allen, John, and Deus were tasked to slay the Heretic Gods. It would already have been a big deal to slay a Heretic God not to mention if it was ten of them.
Just spreading the religion of Zenchianism cost Distere to be executed due to ‘blasphemy’ so one could imagine the outcome of slaying a god. Doing that was tantamount to painting a target on your back to all the believers of the God that you have slain.
Distere was well aware of the consequences of slaying a god and that was the main reason why he was shocked that Allen spoke of it as if it was nothing but a chore.
But after remembering that Allen could easily stop time and was also the admin of a multiversal chat group, Distere calmed himself down.

As for Allen, he wasn’t furious at Distere’s action for spitting cola at him. What mattered was that he wasn’t drenched in the cola that Distere had spat out so Allen didn’t take it to heart.
Allen wasn’t that arrogant and petty. Not to mention, Distere was his fellow chat group member that would without a doubt help him in the future as well as with the current Main Task.
So, Allen immediately forgot about Distere’s offense, and his attention was focused on Distere after noticing that Distere wanted to ask him a question.
“Allen, are you confident in defeating a Heretic God?”
Distere asked the million-dollar question.
“I can defeat a Perfection Realm Intermediate Stage Heretic God if it’s a one-on-one fight. As for those who are stronger than that, I have my ways of defeating them.”
Allen truthfully answered Distere’s question.
Distere didn’t doubt the authenticity of Allen’s answer since he knew that Allen didn’t have any reason to lie to him.
“If you haven’t noticed, you should be able to recognize the badges I have on my robe, right?”
Allen questioned Distere as he pointed towards the two badges on his white magic robe.
Distere’s eyes followed what Allen had pointed at and he was left in awe.
‘That’s the 8th Circle Mage badge! And the other one is the Supreme Mage badge!’
‘Those two badges could only mean that the Mage’s Association recognized Allen as the strongest mage in existence! And there is also the possibility that Allen wasn’t using his full power when he took the magic test.’
Distere thought in his mind as he started to revere Allen as a human who was capable of slaying a Heretic God!
Although the Supreme Mage badge wasn’t known to the majority, those at the Mage’s Association knew about it including the nobility who has access to that information. That was to say that only the commoners didn’t know about the existence of the Supreme Mage badge.
And since Distere was the first son of the duke, Distere had access to that information so he easily recognized the Supreme Mage badge that adorned Allen’s magic robe.
“With your power, it won’t be difficult for me to preach Zenchianism to the inhabitants of this world!”
