266 Allen's Little Sister
“Do I need to have a reason for my kindness?”
Allen answered rhetorically as he patted Alisceon’s head. Allen felt that he was getting old to the point that for a second there, he had thought of Alisceon as a pitiful adopted daughter of his.
The numerous <Supreme> talents that were combined in Allen’s <Supreme Order> talent made his mind more mature than before.
And with Allen’s <Supreme Father> talent, it was no wonder that he almost treated Alisceon as his foster daughter. He was well aware that Alisceon lacked the warmth and care that she could get from her parents which were similar to his situation.
But unlike Alisceon, Allen was loved by his younger brother so he knew that Alisceon was much more pitiful than him.
He wouldn’t even doubt that when Alisceon became the most powerful existence in her world, she would become a villain in her world.
Alisceon’s backstory was enough for her to become the villain of this world and it might be the reason why she would have died if it wasn’t for his interference.
And as Alisceon’s teacher, he would do his best not to prevent Alisceon from becoming a villain but to support her every decision. If she wanted to become a villain, then he might as well support her.
After all, it was not like he had attachments towards this world aside from Alisceon so he didn’t mind supporting Alisceon in her every decision. For Allen, that was what a good teacher would do and as a teacher, Allen would teach Alisceon along the way of the path that she had chosen.
With that in mind, Allen thought of ways for Alisceon to become a powerful mage without needing the use of elemental magic spells and he already thought of a solution to that.
Why not use mana manipulation as a means of offense and defense? After all, Alisceon not only has a vast mana reserve but she also had a decent amount of control over her mana.
It wouldn’t take that long for Alisceon to use her mana to defeat those mages who relied on their magic spells. And there was even a method that Alisceon could use with her mana manipulation which was to cancel the magic spells of mages before and after they could cast them.
Allen was capable of doing that due to his monstrous mana control and the reason why it was possible was similar to how a hacker could prevent an email from being sent to the receiver. By using mana manipulation, Allen could hijack the magic spell and remove the mana in that magic spell using his mana, thus rendering the magic spell useless and would later dissipate.
When Allen thought of ways for Alisceon to take advantage of her vast mana reserves and decent mana control, Alisceon was starting to recover from her negative emotions as she looked at Allen, her teacher, in a different light from before.
If Allen was like a teacher to her before, Alisceon thought of Allen as her caring older brother. Not that Allen minded since with his numerous <Supreme> talents, he knew what Alisceon’s thoughts were towards him.
As long as Alisceon didn’t love him like a boyfriend and girlfriend would love each other, Allen would accept her love for him as long as it was familial love. Allen didn’t mind becoming Alisceon’s older brother since with his <Supreme Brother> talent, he would become a good older brother.
Allen patted Alisceon’s head again which caused her to pout after seeing Allen tease her as if she was a child. Noticing Alisceon’s pout, he only chuckled in response.
“You don’t have to worry about becoming my student. Remember that the two of us signed a soul contract with each other. Even without that, I will keep my promise and I will still treat you as my student whether you have a talent in magic or not.”
Hearing those kind words from Allen, Alisceon genuinely smiled which Allen found as cute and wholesome. And at that time, Allen was enlightened on why Seref Zenchi, his sworn brother, loved lolis.
In Allen’s words, Lolis was cute and wholesome as fuck.
But it didn’t mean he would take a loli as his lover since Allen already have a lover and he didn’t want another one. A harem was too troublesome for him.
“Teacher, can I call you my older brother instead? You treat me as kindly as your little sister and I never had someone treat me as such, not even those royal siblings of mine.”
Alisceon shyly proposed to Allen to become her older brother. If one were to observe Alisceon’s face, she was currently blushing and her body temperature and heartbeat were rising due to her nervousness.
It was a bold proposal that Alisceon had made but she didn’t regret asking Allen about that. If he declined, then Alisceon could still treat him as his teacher but if he accepted, she would have an older brother to rely on who would treat her as his little sister.
She didn’t receive any love from her family aside from her mother who passed away after she became four years old. From what she had learned, her mother passed away because her body became weaker after her mother gave birth to her. And because of that, her only brother, the first prince or crown prince, hated her existence and blamed her for their mother’s death.
Looking back at the past, she couldn’t help but think that she was an unlucky child. She even thought about what would happen if she wasn’t born into this world and never became a burden to her late mother.
If she hadn’t existed in this world, her father wouldn’t have remarried and the crown prince would be the only child. Therefore, there wouldn’t be a battle for the throne, and her brother wouldn’t have been pressured because of that.
Snapping Alisceon out of her reverie, Allen gently patted Alisceon’s head as his hands caressed her silky smooth golden blonde hair.
“You will be my little sister from now on. You can call me brother Allen or just brother.”
