261 Alisceon Wasn't A Protagonist Nor The Female Lead Of The World
“From knowing that the magic beast’s power level is at High Realm Intermediate Stage, you must have already known which mage has targeted you, right? A mage that has a power level of at least High Realm Peak Stage or above.”
Allen further explained his analysis to his student. He even gave her a brief lecture about the composition of mana. But when Alisceon heard about him mentioning the possibility of a mage that targeted her, she could only point her finger at one person.
“It must be the Old Mage Of The Mystic Forest Sirius’ doings!”
Alisceon wasn’t dumb, and because of Allen’s hints, she immediately found out that the owner of the magic beast was Sirius, the Old Mage Of The Mystic Forest.
When she thought about that, her heart was filled with rage and regret.
She regretted even thinking about Sirius becoming her magic teacher, since if she hadn’t thought about that, she wouldn’t have indirectly sacrificed the lives of her butler and royal knights.
Alisceon no longer had any affiliated forces left and even her finances were almost depleted, which was equal to killing her chances of ascending the throne. If it weren’t for the favors that some nobles owed to her mother, she wouldn’t have any sources of funds left.
But even if her royal siblings weren’t able to eliminate her, they had already succeeded in eliminating her chances of ascending the throne. Of course, that would have indeed happened if it weren’t for the presence of her magic teacher, Allen, who was an 8th Circle Mage!
Even her magic teacher was stronger than the Gaia Kingdom’s royal court mage. So even if the royal court mage supported the first prince, Alisceon still had a chance of ascending the throne with Allen’s support.
As for the funds, even if Alisceon was embarrassed to resort to it, she could still ask her teacher for some pocket money. After all, as an 8th Circle Mage, her teacher was very rich, and he could easily earn money by using the credibility of his identity.
Even her royal siblings must not have expected her to have a powerful magic teacher as her supporter and backer.
On the other hand, Alisceon was furious about Sirius’ actions. Because of money, Sirius didn’t hesitate to kill her butler and royal knights, and if it wasn’t for her teacher, she would have died as well!
Just thinking about it, she couldn’t wait to become stronger so that she could kill that damnable old mage!
As for asking her teacher to deal with Sirius, Alisceon was already aware of how indebted she was to her teacher, so she didn’t want to keep on relying on him.
Noticing Alisceon’s expressions and already reading her expressions and seeing through them, Allen could only sigh in response to that.
“I know what you are thinking, but you don’t have to burden yourself with the responsibility of avenging your people.”
“Remember that Sirius is a 6th Circle Mage who is on par with a 7th Circle Mage. And not to mention, he is an old fossil, not someone of your generation could ever handle in a short amount of time.”
“If you had believed that you can defeat Sirius if you train under me, then you are mistaken. Sure, I am confident that you can surpass Sirius as long as I teach you. But let me tell you this, the battle for the throne will end a lot earlier than you can even have a chance of defeating Sirius.”
Allen harshly spoke about the reality to Alisceon, dismissing any of her delusions of defeating Sirius just by training for a short amount of time.
It would take a lot of time for Alisceon to become a Highest Realm Initial Stage mage unless Allen created a new body for Alisceon that possessed better talent than her.
After all, a Highest Realm Initial Stage was capable of destroying the world if given enough time, and becoming one was difficult. There were even some who spent thousands of years yet did not reach the Highest Realm Initial Stage power level.
For example, the teachers at the Manipulator’s Academy were only at the High Realm Peak Stage, and some of them wouldn’t even have any chance of breaking through the bottleneck of their power level.
Not everyone possessed unlimited growth and potential, unlike those that were considered the protagonists of their world.
And from what Allen had observed, Alisceon was not a protagonist. She wasn’t even the female lead of the world, also known as the partner of the protagonist.
So it was unlikely for Alisceon to possess the trait of a protagonist, which was to have unlimited growth and potential, and that was why Allen wasn’t optimistic about Alisceon surpassing Sirius in a short amount of time.
And as for how Allen found out that Alisceon wasn’t a protagonist, it was quite simple.
Without his interference, Alisceon would have already died in this world since that was her fate. If she was the female lead in this world, then she would either have the chance of escaping from the magic beast or the protagonist saving her, which didn’t happen.
Allen and his chat group members were not only from another world, but also from another universe. They were outsiders, or anomalies, in this world and universe. And with the protection of the AMCG System, Allen and his chat group members didn’t receive any backlash from interfering with the fate of this world.
Only residents of this world and universe could interfere with the fate of this world and universe, and if outsiders did that, they would be punished by the heavenly laws of the world.
Fortunately, the AMCG System already knew about that, so it also granted protection to its host and sub-host from the interference of the heavenly laws of the universe. Allen knew about that since he was the administrator of the chat group.
With those thoughts in his mind, Allen shifted his attention back to Alisceon, as she was currently weighing her options.
“As I have said before, don’t worry too much. Solve all of your problems one step at a time. I will guide and assist you if you ever need help.”
