183 It Is Still Too Early To Celebrate
Lei: Those Supreme Academy staff bastards will finally get what they deserve. With the destruction of all spy gadgets within the Supreme Island, it wouldn’t be an exaggeration to claim that most of the <Supremes> will harbor suspicions towards the Supreme Academy. A few of the daring ones might even establish a resistance group like the resistance group that Allen founded.
Lei couldn’t accept the lawlessness that the Supreme Academy had exhibited when they placed spy gadgets even in their houses. So when he observed that all of those spy gadgets were destroyed and would undoubtedly cause trouble to the Supreme Academy, how could he not be happy?
Allen: It is still too early for us to celebrate. Remember that this is the first action that we had made to fight against the Supreme Academy and there will be more to come. And we can all expect that the Supreme Academy will be alerted because of this incident so they will without a doubt increase their vigilance towards the <Supremes>.
Of course, his classmates already expected that the Supreme Academy won’t lay low after receiving such a blow from them considering the Supreme Academy staff were quite an arrogant and lawless bunch.
The Supreme Academy staff’s pride wouldn’t allow them to receive such an attack without fighting back and that was why Allen alerted his classmates about that.
Carrion: We had already expected that anyway when we all agreed to join the resistance. The only ones who knew more about the Supreme Academy staff’s characteristics are, of course, us <Supremes>.
Carrion: There might even be a possibility that the Supreme Academy will root out the suspect of this incident ruthlessly through unknown means so we need to be prepared for that.
Asther: That is indeed a possibility. Under the guise of an examination or an interview, the Supreme Academy staff might interrogate all of us <Supremes> one by one to determine who was the culprit behind the spy gadget destruction incident.
Asther had worked with the Supreme Academy staff several times before so he knew how they operated and because of that, he warned them that the Supreme Academy would likely handle this incident ruthlessly.
Asther: In those interviews and examinations, they will likely use a truth detector or just assign the <Supreme Interrogator> to deal with the interrogations considering that she is on the Supreme Academy’s side.
Asther: Of course, the <Supremes> aren’t idiots who wouldn’t notice that they were being interrogated but the Supreme Academy had the means to deal with them such as using amnestic sedation drugs to remove the <Supreme>’s memories of the interrogation after they are done with the interrogation. Or just use hypnosis against them or even brainwash them considering that the <Supreme Brainwasher> is also on the Supreme Academy’s side.
Asther listed the most probable actions that the Supreme Academy would take after this incident that Allen’s Anti-Spy 2000 had caused.
Since Allen was his elder brother and the only one he considered as his family member, he would worry about him if he didn’t know about his capabilities but he did so in this situation, Asther was currently grinning at how fucked the Supreme Academy would become after Allen attacked them, like what happened in the future timeline.
Asther knew that Allen obtained something similar to the <Supreme Chaos> talent but he didn’t know to what extent it was similar to it. But if it was similar to or even surpassed the <Supreme Chaos> talent, he dared to claim that as long as Allen deals with the Supreme Academy personally, there would no longer be any Supreme Academy that would exist in this world.
Asther hated how the Supreme Academy dealt with the <Supremes> in the dark and how they took advantage of some <Supremes> to bring them on their side. And that was why Asther wanted to rebel against them but previously in this timeline, he didn’t have any support unlike now so before, he couldn’t act rashly.
But now that Allen had persuaded his classmates to go up against the Supreme Academy and therefore, founding the resistance group that would defy the Supreme Academy, Asther could now actively deal with the Supreme Academy while supporting Allen and his classmates.
Of course, he knew that Allen didn’t even need their assistance since from what he knew about not only Allen in this timeline but also in the future timeline, Allen could easily deal with the Supreme Academy.
Asther could guess a lot of reasons as to why Allen didn’t do that and instead, founded the resistance but in the end, it would only be a guess so he decided to observe Allen’s actions and find out why he didn’t demolish the Supreme Academy when he could do that easily.
Aimee: What if the interrogation did occur and the Supreme Academy resorted to that? I won’t allow them to do that especially after knowing that there are perverts and fucked up bastards among the Supreme Academy staff. Who knows what they will do to us during the time we are hypnotized or brainwashed?
Aimee wasn’t going to allow the Supreme Academy to do as they please with her and she wasn’t spouting any empty words. After all, she was the <Supreme Mage> and she was more than capable enough to resist the Supreme Academy since she was undeniably one of the top 10 strongest in the entire world.
Hildegard: I also wouldn’t allow that to happen! We already know that there are some perverts targeting Sophie and I wouldn’t risk Sophie being in her defenseless state when they apply hypnosis or brainwashing to remove her memory of the interrogation.
Arthur: The two of you do know that if we don’t comply with the demands of the Supreme Academy for interrogation, all of us who do that will be on their watch list. Doing so would only make them raise their suspicion towards us.
Hildegard: Then if our selfishness causes trouble to this group, Sophie and I won’t hesitate to leave the group to not implicate you all. I won’t risk her safety just for being part of this group.
Hildegard was adamant in preventing Sophie from being handed to the Supreme Academy for “interrogation” to the point that she didn’t hesitate to leave the resistance just for Sophie’s safety.
