Prodigy With Alternate Multiverse Chat Group System

181 It's Quite Unusual

Buza: I apologize for my late reply, but when you sent that message, I was in the middle of knocking out a staff member of the Supreme Academy and storing his body in a storage scroll. And I have already used my transformation technique to transform into the appearance of that Supreme Academy staff member.

Buza: It won’t be a long time before I can acquire inside information about the Supreme Academy’s current actions.

Allen: Good work, Buza. And for those who have forgotten, I have already placed the Anti-Spy 2000 in the house of the <Supreme Rapist> and it will activate at 8:30 AM. Since all of us already have alibis, the chances of us being under the suspicion of the Supreme Academy are low.

Allen assured them that they would likely not be implicated in the spy gadget incident that he would cause using his Anti-Spy 2000. And that was the reason Allen insisted that all of them would attend class, so that all of them would have an alibi.

As for Allen’s assigning Buza with the espionage job and Selena with the information gathering job, it wasn’t that necessary considering he has the Omnisearch App. And Allen dared to claim that with his Omnisearch App, he would have much more accurate information gathered compared to the information that Buza and Selena could ever gather.

But even if he knew that, he wasn’t going to let the two of them have no purpose or assignment in their group. Allen knew his classmates’ characters and he understood that all of them have pride when it came to their <Supreme> talents, so if he didn’t assign them those jobs, they would feel as if their <Supreme> talents weren’t acknowledged in the group. Especially if he was inconsiderate enough to hoard all of those jobs by himself.

For that reason, he didn’t let his classmates do nothing, and instead, he assigned all of his classmates to a job that they were suited to do regarding their <Supreme> talent. And from what he had observed, they were satisfied with the jobs that he had assigned, and doing so would make them feel that they contributed to the group.

If everyone in the resistance helped each other achieve the resistance’s main goal while bonding with each other, the loyalty and camaraderie within the group would improve. As a result, the likelihood of betrayal decreases, and such ideas may not arise in his peers’ brains as long as they all care about each other.

But if he ever discovered that one of them was harboring traitorous thoughts, he wouldn’t kill them; instead, he would expel them from the resistance and erase whatever memories they might have, protecting the remaining members from being implicated by the prospective traitor’s plans.

Allen wasn’t going to take any chances, and fortunately, none of them had yet to harbor such thoughts of betrayal, but considering it was still the first day they ever started the resistance, it was still too early to tell.

He had already planned how he would deal with the information acquired by Buza and Selena, because he wasn’t going to reject it flatly.

He intended to utilize his Omnisearch App to verify the veracity of the data they had acquired and to fill in any gaps in the information that Buza and Selena were unable to collect.

Considering that Buza had yet to obtain any information, Allen could only do that when he received information from him and Selena.

Allen and his classmates waited for their adviser to come because he had nothing else to say to them.

‘Wait, this is quite unusual. Hawser hasn’t come at class yet at 8:28 in the morning.’

Allen couldn’t help but think of that while his classmates had similar experiences to his as well.

They knew that, from the previous two days that Hawser had spent with them, Hawser wasn’t the type who would be late to class, considering he was someone who wouldn’t mind if they didn’t attend class but would reprimand them if they were late.

And such a person was late, which was an unusual occurrence, and they all had the same thoughts about that.

To be completely honest, Allen and his classmates didn’t care if Hawser could not make it to class today because it would only mean that they could talk to each other whenever they wanted via the Telepathy Chat Group.

Although Hawser was their advisor, they were not particularly close, and they had a great deal of mistrust for the Supreme Academy, so even though it was a cold and callous thought, it was understandable.

They already got confirmation from Hawser himself that he was gathering information about them, so how could they trust him, especially when he was part of the Supreme Academy staff?

Even with those thoughts, they were still uneasy, but they decided to have a conversation about it in the Telepathy Chat Group.

Asty: Isn’t it unusual that Hawser has yet to attend class? Even in my foresight, this has never happened before. Well, considering that we have already changed too much in this timeline, it won’t be unusual if my foresights from before become useless in this situation.

Asty: But how is Hawser related to the changes that we made in this timeline? It doesn’t make any sense. Preventing Sophie’s bad end and Hawser not attending class a day afterward don’t correlate.

Not only Asty but his classmates as well have the same thoughts. They all knew that it was unusual, but even so, they had no idea why Hawser was missing their lesson right now or what he was doing.

Even though they were all <Supremes>, their abilities were still constrained by their areas of expertise. As a result, they were unable to even ascertain the cause of Hawser’s absence, and they were unable to ask Buza to handle the issue because he was preoccupied with infiltrating the Supreme Academy staff.

Allen: There is no point in stressing ourselves about this. And besides, the Anti-Spy 2000 will activate in just a moment, therefore the spy gadget issue will be resolved-

Before Allen could finish his sentence, they heard the sound of an explosion as all of the spy gadgets in their classroom exploded.
