Primordial Villain with a Slave Harem

Chapter 988: Begging Vex

Chapter 988: Begging Vex

The name struck like lightning through his mind. The Hexblade. Black Fang’s second enforcer. Her presence here… that had to mean something. These people must be Vesper Consortium operatives, his jumbled mind reasoned. Though those high noble women… Wwhat were they doing here, anyway? So elegant, so strange.

But he pushed such thoughts away. They didn’t matter.

If Vex was the highest-ranking one here, he had to reach her and have the woman restrain his rabid dog of a daughter.

His eyes darted through the chamber, searching.

“V-Vex! Please! You must know this is… this is too far! I obeyed! I backed off as I was told by Lady Raika! I followed orders! I’ve been a loyal Consortium Member all my life! I’ve given the syndicate tremendous amounts of wealth! You have to stop her! It is your duty to stop her and save me!”

His voice cracked again, frantic.

But there was no answer.

Because…

Vex wasn’t visible.

His eyes widened in rising panic.

Where was she?

Where was his last, desperate hope?

“VEX!” he screamed, louder this time. “Where are you?!”

The room remained still.

The only sound was his own desperate wheezing… and the wet squelch of Jasmine retrieving another blade.

No… That wasn’t quite right. There was one strange sound his ears picked up on.

“Hmm~ So tasty~”

*Schlup!*

“Haaah…”

*Schlurrrrp!!*

“Mwah~!”

Aurelion’s head turned robotically toward the source. His neck creaked like rusted metal as pain wracked every inch of his mangled form.

The sounds came from the direction of the only other man in the room.

The tall, dark-haired bastard who lounged in his throne-like chair, legs relaxed, a glass of wine in one hand and the reins of the room’s mood in the other.

Devil.

There was no doubt in his mind now. His daughter had somehow succeeded in seducing Devil, who was a much bigger monster than Aurelion could’ve ever imagined. Hence why he was strapped and being tortured by his previously powerless daughter now.

But the sounds… weren’t coming from him.

No.

Kneeling between his legs was a woman with a long, snow-white ponytail trailing down her back. Her movements were unmistakable, her posture devoted, her expression ravenous with her half-lidded eyes gazing upward in pure, unadulterated love and obsession.

Vex.

Aurelion’s ruined face froze in disbelief. His vision blurred from tears of agony, but even through the blood, he could make it out.

The Hexblade herself.

Her position… her movements… they were intimate. Bold. Slutty. Her devotion wasn’t that of a subordinate; it was that of a woman hopelessly obsessed, caught in a moment of overwhelming need.

She bobbed her head up and down his length with rhythm, with speed, with intent. Not a trace of hesitation or modesty could be observed. The sounds were real, wet, and brazen. She wasn’t trying to be discreet one bit.

And Devil?

He simply rested a hand on her head, fingers gently threading through her hair, caressing her scalp with affection.

It wasn’t dominance. It wasn’t ownership.

It was reciprocated love.

Worship for worship.

His face was calm, relaxed, even, as if getting fervent head from the monstrously strong woman whose name alone brought terror into many hearts of the kingdom was the most natural thing in the world. All the while, they were in the torture chamber, watching a live dissection at that!

All that is to say… Devil looked like a man enjoying the company of a woman who wanted to serve him, not because she had to, but because it made her happy.

Because she adored him.

Sitting at his left was a three-tailed foxkin draped lazily over the chair’s armrest, sipping wine as she idly stroked Devil’s shoulder with her tails.

At his right, nestled up against him like a loyal lover, was a soft-eyed dogkin, her golden ears twitching as she clasped Devil’s free hand between both of hers. She played with his fingers like a lovestruck maiden, occasionally lifting them to her cheek to get a direct sniff.

The entire scene… felt wrong to Aurelion.

No. Unreachable would be a better word.

This was a man surrounded by beauty, devotion, and power. The way they looked at him wasn’t the way women looked at a mere man. It was as if they perceived him as something beyond.

Aurelion’s scream died in his throat. It escaped as a dry, broken whisper.

“Why…”

At last, the man—Devil—spoke.

His voice was smooth, lazy, even a touch amused.

“Ah… forgive us,” he tilted his head as he gazed at the wreck that was Aurelion. “My Vex got a little too excited watching Jasmine as the culmination of her revenge story was being played right in front of her very eyes. The emotion was a bit much for her to handle.”

His tone was light. Dry. Not a shred of sincerity in the so-called apology.

“She needed to release it somewhere,” he added, brushing a thumb along Vex’s temple as she let out a soft, blissful hum of agreement to whatever he was saying.

“If you’d like to leave a message for her, feel free to tell me. I’ll pass it along.”

Aurelion didn’t reply at first.

His gaze lifted from Vex’s form to meet Devil’s unblinking eyes.

“What… are you…”

The question wasn’t asked with defiance.

It wasn’t spat through teeth like a final act of resistance.

It was whispered.

Like a man already at the gallows, wondering what kind of executioner had come to end him.

Devil raised his brows. “Now that… is a very good question.”

“To some, I’m a savior. A protector. A man they trust to burn down the world if it means saving them.”

“To others… I’m a villain. A cruel, sadistic man. The one they pray never appears in their story.”

He paused. Let the words settle in the gore-stained room.

Then, softly with all the indifference in the world:

“But to you? I am nothing. I will not raise a finger against you.”

He looked down at the broken merchant lord, half-flayed and shackled to the chair by his own daughter’s revenge-fueled wishes.

Then suddenly his body stiffened.

His eyes flickered.

Something pulsed.

Not in the room. Not in the air.

But within his soul.

“Oh?”
