Primordial Heir: Nine Stars

Chapter 513: Understanding the Law of Wind Finale

Nero began experimenting.

A small current became a larger one.

A larger one became a spiral.

The spiral accelerated.

It became a small vortex.

Nero compressed it.

The vortex became smaller.

Smaller.

Smaller.

Until it was only the size of his palm.

Yet the pressure inside was tremendous.

Nero released it.

BOOM!

The miniature vortex exploded across the plain.

Nero’s eyes widened.

Compression.

That was another property.

Wind didn’t need to be large to be powerful.

He raised his hand again.

This time, he created dozens of small currents.

They surrounded him.

One moved around his arm.

Another around his leg.

Another around his sword.

Nero drew his sword.

The Wind Law wrapped around the blade.

The sword became lighter.

Faster.

The next swing was completely different.

SHING!

The blade cut through the air.

A crescent-shaped wind blade continued forward.

It traveled hundreds of meters before disappearing.

Nero stared at it.

He had created a ranged attack without releasing a large amount of prana.

He swung again.

Another blade.

Then another.

He began increasing the speed.

SHING!

SHING!

SHING!

The wind blades crossed the plain.

Nero stopped.

He understood another property.

Wind could extend the range of his swordsmanship.

But that wasn’t enough.

He wanted more.

He remembered his previous battles.

His Darkness transformation.

His Shadow Extraction.

His body reinforcement.

His swordsmanship.

What would happen if he combined them with Wind?

Nero lowered his stance.

Wind gathered around his feet.

He stepped forward.

The world blurred.

He stopped several meters away.

His eyes widened.

He hadn’t simply moved quickly.

He had been carried by the wind.

Nero tried again.

This time—

He accelerated.

BOOM!

The ground cracked beneath his feet.

He disappeared.

Then appeared hundreds of meters away.

Nero looked down at his legs.

Wind continued spiraling around them.

He understood.

Wind could amplify movement.

Not by simply increasing physical strength.

It reduced resistance.

It carried the body.

It accelerated every movement.

Nero began experimenting.

He moved forward.

Then sideways.

Then backward.

His movements became faster.

Then faster.

Then faster.

Soon, his body became a blur.

He wasn’t teleporting.

He was simply moving so quickly that the distance seemed meaningless.

Nero stopped.

His breathing remained steady.

A new idea appeared.

He raised his sword.

Wind gathered around his body.

Then—

He swung.

The sword didn’t merely release a wind blade.

The air itself followed the movement.

A massive arc tore across the landscape.

The distant mountains shook.

Nero stared.

The destructive power was considerably greater than his first attack.

He continued.

One technique after another.

He began combining swordsmanship with Wind.

A thrust became a concentrated lance of compressed air.

A horizontal slash became a crescent-shaped blade.

A downward strike created a violent pressure wave.

A spinning sword technique became a miniature cyclone.

Nero’s understanding deepened with every attempt.

Then he tried something different.

He stopped moving.

The wind continued moving around him.

He closed his eyes.

He listened.

The air touched his skin.

He could feel its direction.

Its speed.

Its pressure.

Its temperature.

Every disturbance.

Nero’s eyes opened.

He could sense everything within the surrounding area through the movement of the air.

His perception expanded.

He could detect something moving several kilometers away simply because it disturbed the wind.

A smile appeared.

Wind could become another form of sensory perception.

Nero continued practicing.

Hours passed.

He learned to silence the wind around his body.

No footsteps.

No sound.

No disturbance.

Then he reversed it.

He created a zone where sound could not escape.

He understood.

Wind could carry sound.

Therefore—

Wind could also control it.

Nero experimented further.

He created a thin layer of moving air around his body.

It bent light slightly.

Not enough to make him completely invisible.

But enough to distort his presence.

Another possibility.

He could create currents that redirected projectiles.

He could manipulate the battlefield without directly attacking.

Wind could become offense.

Defense.

Mobility.

Detection.

Concealment.

Control.

Nero stood silently in the middle of the green world.

The more he learned—

The more he realized why the Law of Wind was considered one of the most versatile Laws.

It didn’t simply control air.

It controlled movement.

Nero raised his hand.

The entire world responded.

The clouds shifted.

The grass bent.

The floating islands began moving.

A massive storm formed in the distance.

Nero looked at it.

Then lowered his hand.

The storm dispersed.

He had only touched the surface.

Yet the Law was already becoming familiar.

Aezrion’s essence continued circulating inside him.

Nero’s understanding deepened.

Then—

The world suddenly became silent.

Every current stopped.

Every cloud froze.

Every particle of air seemed to pause.

Nero looked upward.

A voice echoed through the green world.

"Wind cannot be imprisoned."

Nero’s eyes narrowed.

"It cannot be owned."

The clouds began moving again.

"It can only be guided."

The entire world erupted.

BOOOOOOM!

A gigantic storm surrounded Nero.

Wind tore across the landscape.

Mountains shook.

Clouds spiraled.

The sky became green.

Nero stood at the center.

Instead of resisting—

He opened his arms.

The wind passed through him.

He allowed it to move.

Allowed it to flow.

Allowed it to become part of his movement.

His hair rose.

His clothes fluttered.

Then—

Everything became calm.

Nero opened his eyes.

The storm had disappeared.

A faint green aura surrounded his body.

His sword rested in his hand.

The Wind Law flowed through it naturally.

Nero looked at the blade.

He understood.

He didn’t need to dominate Wind.

He needed to move with it.

He took one step.

The wind followed.

Another.

It accelerated.

A third.

His figure disappeared.

Only a gentle breeze remained where he had stood.

Nero reappeared several hundred meters away.

He looked back.

A faint smile appeared.

The fifth star had opened.

And with it—

Another piece of his power had awakened.

The Law of Wind was now his.

But just like Darkness—

This was not the end, there was still three more stars to unlock, those ones wouldn’t be easy to unseal, he couldn’t wait to unlock Space and Time, he had feeling something interesting would happen. Talking about change, his felt like the vortex of prana with that mysterious entity sealed inside had lessened a bit, it mean he could control up to 50% percent of that enormous prana, if you add the one stored in his second core nestled inside his heart, he had a pretty enormous amount of prana.

’’I should consolidate my gains before heading out, the real show starts from there on after all.’’
