Primordial 'Dual Cultivator' Dragon With System
Chapter 1795: Yin-Yang Soul Refining Art I (Edited)
"You’re right." Ling Yun stroked Ling Yu’er’s back. "I did think of a few solutions to that problem, but I haven’t decided on the right one yet."
"Please tell me, Husband." Ling Yu’er snuggled closer to his chest. "Although I’m not as strong as you, I’m one of your wives, so I want to share your burden."
"The first option is to wait resignedly."
"Can you do that?"
"No." Ling Yun shook his head. "The second option is soul cultivation."
Ling Yu’er raised an eyebrow. "Soul cultivation? How are you going to do that?"
"Right now, our maximum soul is at the Soul Sea, right?"
"Yes."
"Have you ever thought that our soul sea can transform into a higher form?"
"Transform into a higher form? What do you mean by that?"
"For example, the soul world."
"Huh." Ling Yu’er stood up, staring at him in shock. "Do you think it’s possible?"
Ling Yun sighed. "It was just a passing idea, and I don’t know if it’s feasible. I’ve discussed this with Xiao Yin, but she said that Tang Xiao has never tried it, so his soul space is limited to the soul sea, just like ours."
"Where did you get that idea?"
Ling Yun rubbed his nose. "You remember that I’m an Earthling, right?"
"Of course I remember."
"On Earth, there are many stories about cultivators written by non-cultivators." Ling Yu’er wanted to interrupt, but Ling Yun stopped her. "With me first."
"Go on."
"In some of those stories, they wrote many tales about cultivators upgrading their soul seas into soul worlds." Ling Yu’er took a deep breath and looked at Ling Yun bewilderedly. "That’s why I’m thinking about whether it’s possible to implement them in our lives or not. If it can really be combined, and if I can combine it with my chaos dragon partner mark, I can summon all of you into my soul world anytime and anywhere."
"Have you asked Old Dragon and Big Sis Hao about this matter?"
"They said it was impossible." Ling Yun paused. "However, they have never been in Chaos’s shoes, and they have never tried his omnipotence."
Ling Yu’er knew that Huang Hao and Long Hun had never tried Chaos’s true abilities, but the latter was one of the two oldest primordial beings, so he should know more about his father’s abilities. "Have you discussed this matter with Hun Lingwang?"
"Not yet." Ling Yun shook his head. "I still don’t know whether it can be done or not, so I’m not sure Hun Lingwang has the answer."
Ling Yun nodded in understanding. "Old Dragon might not know about it, but you have to remember that Hun Lingwang is the soul spirit. Perhaps he has his own ideas about this matter, so I think you should try talking to him about this matter, and he might have an answer for you."
"You’re right." Ling Yun pulled her to lie down and pinned her down. "I’ll talk to Hun Lingwang after we finish our seclusion."
"Hahaha," Ling Yu’er softly laughed and wrapped her arms around his neck. "How long will we be in seclusion?"
"It should be ten days already, so we will end our isolation in three months." Ling Yu’er glanced at the sleeping Tian Hu before returning her gaze to Ling Yun. "What? Aren’t you satisfied with three months of seclusion?"
Ling Yu’er shook her head. "If we did it together, I definitely wouldn’t be able to dual cultivate with you for that long. However, Big Sis Hu is with us now, so I think it’s too short for the three of us."
"Haha," Ling Yun laughed. "If that’s the case, we’ll be in seclusion a little longer, so you and Hu’er will both be satisfied."
"Okay!"

Time flies quickly; nine days passed in the outside world—equivalent to ninety of the Yunlong Zhuzhai.
Ling Yun brought Ling Yu’er and Tian Hu out of their seclusion, and he went straight to the southern valleys, where the members of the Spirit Race lived.
When he arrived there, Ling Yun was a little surprised to see Shangguan Qinglan sitting there, lost in thought. "When did you return to this domain?" (A/N: Ch 1638 - First Appearance.)
"Eh?" Shangguan Qinglan immediately stood up. "I’ve been back in this domain for a long time, but you’ve never even been here once. What brings you here today?"
"Oh." Ling Yun nodded slightly. "I wanted to meet Hun Lingwang, so I came here today."
Shangguan Qinglan pointed towards the cliff. "Senior Hun is cultivating under that cliff, so you should go there to meet him."
"Have you never returned to the sect again?"
"I returned to the sect a few months ago, but the situation in the domain was chaotic due to the appearance of many demons." Ling Yun remembered that the demons had invaded many domains, but Huang Lingzhu should have eliminated them. "Those demons had disappeared before, but they suddenly appeared there again. People from my sect and other sects managed to stop them, but quite a lot of righteous cultivators died because of their invasion, including some of my seniors."
"I’m sorry to hear that," Ling Yun sighed softly. "My clone and Peng Tianlei had already caused numerous demons to invade several domains many years ago, but you know that there are so many domains in the Supreme Realm, so I couldn’t save everyone."
Shangguan Qinglan shook her head. "It’s not your fault, Ling Yun. Many of them are cultivators who have cultivated for thousands, tens of thousands, or even hundreds of thousands of years. Many of them are powerful cultivators, so they should be responsible for their lives."
"I’ll go see Hun Lingwang first, and we’ll continue our conversation later."
"Okay." Shangguan Qinglan watched Ling Yun leave with a few sighs.

Before long, Ling Yun arrived below the cliff, and he found Hun Lingwang cultivating quietly.
"What brings you here, kid?" Ling Yun sat in front of Hun Lingwang and explained to him the possibility of upgrading their soul seas, forcing him to stop his cultivation. "Honestly, I’ve thought about that before, but I don’t know where to start. There’s no way I’m destroying my soul sea to reform it, right?"
"Do you really think we have to destroy our soul sea to be able to reform it? Wouldn’t that just hurt or even kill us?"
"You’re right about that." Hun Lingwang sighed in disappointment, feeling unworthy of being called the soul spirit. "Do you have a solution to this without destroying our soul sea first?"
Ling Yun stared at him silently, as he had already thought of several possibilities that would happen if he dared to do it, including death.
Hun Lingwang continued. "Frankly speaking, I don’t dare take that risk, kid. After all, I’m different from you, who have multiple souls. If I dare to do that and fail, I will die forever, and my efforts so far will be in vain."
Ling Yun was still silent, thinking about so many things in his mind. He didn’t mind if he had to replace Chaos and stay in his old place, but he couldn’t ignore all his wives and children. That’s why he desperately tried to find a way to still see them, even if he would ultimately have to part with them.
Ling Yun looked at Hun Lingwang. "In your opinion, what are the chances of me succeeding in doing that?"
"I can’t say for sure because I’ve never tried it." Hun Lingwang looked at him with a serious look. "Are you really thinking about trying it?"
"Do you think I have any other choice?" Hun Lingwang couldn’t answer Ling Yun’s question because he didn’t have an answer for it. "The only thing weighing on my heart is that the majority of them are mortals, and they will die when their lifespans run out. With their current cultivation levels, they can live for hundreds of thousands of years or even millions of years, and their lifespans will continue to increase as their cultivation improves. Unfortunately, they are not immortals like Ling Xi or Sheng Ming, and I don’t know if I can return to their side after I defeat Chaos in the future."
Hun Lingwang understood Ling Yun’s feelings very well, and he himself had dreams of reaching a higher level. Unfortunately, they had no solution to surpass his current level, and he was also afraid of death.
Swoosh
Hun Lingwu immediately stood up as soon as Long Hun emerged from Ling Yun’s body and bowed to him. "Senior Primordial Chaos Dragon."
"You don’t need to respect this dead dragon." Long Hun looked at Ling Yun. "Do you really want to try that, kid? Huang Lingzhu and I never thought about such things because we were born immortals, so it doesn’t matter to us if our souls remain in the soul sea."
"Do you think I can use the Primordial Origin Soul Technique for that, Old Dragon?"
"Hmm? You mean?"
Ling Yun waved his hand, created a screen, and displayed the technique there. "Read the fifth and sixth sub-techniques."
===
Soul Rebirth: Grants the ability to reincarnate with memories intact, making true death almost impossible, unless erased by Heavenly Tribulation.
Origin Soul Ascension: The final stage where the soul merges with the essence of the universe, gaining an omnipresent presence within a certain domain and achieving near immortality.
===
Hun Lingwang and Long Hun exchanged glances for a moment after they read the sixth sub-technique. "Have you reached the sixth stage?"
"Not yet." Ling Yun shook his head. "If I’m not mistaken, I can only reach the sixth stage by defeating Chaos first. You two have never reached that stage, right?"
