Primordial Chaos Dragon Tower: Harem System

Chapter 901: The Apocalypse (5)

Chapter 901: The Apocalypse (5)

“Krez, come here,” Vexthra called out.

The undying cockroach in the legion stepped forward with a smile on his face.

“You see that lady surrounded by red flames? Go and protect her secretly,” Vexthra pointed at Lady Liora.

Krez, who was already hungry to get into the battle, moved, and soon, he was on the battlefield, fighting at an acceptable distance from Lady Liora.

He wasn’t too close to draw suspicion, and he certainly wasn’t too far to be unable to intervene if Lady Liora needed help.

Unity, who also wanted to enter the battle, walked toward Vexthra and held her hand. “Big sister, why did you ask Krez to go protect her, and don’t you think he alone is not enough to protect her?”

Vexthra just laughed, knowing what Unity was aiming at. “Krez is enough. I only asked him to go there just in case something unexpected happens. I even doubt she will require his help.

“As for your first question, this lady is a Grand Disciple of a Celestial who once helped me when I seriously needed it.”

“Wow.” The ladies exclaimed and looked toward Lady Liora. Seeing the brown haired beauty fighting, their interest was piqued.

“Who is this Celestial?” Selene asked, moving closer to Vexthra.

“I don’t know her name. However, her disciple is a powerful Supreme called Purple Flame Lady.” Vexthra pointed at the flame runes on Lady Liora’s arm and forehead.

“Those runes on her body are flame runes, each connected to a different aspect of her body and some external aspects. Whenever she kills someone, the soul power of the deceased will be absorbed by the flame runes on her body.

“These flame runes are from a technique called ’Flame God’s Mercy’. I don’t know how strong it is; however, this Celestial I know used just one to kill a Celestial beast in one strike.”

“Wow.” Everyone who heard what Vexthra said became shocked for a moment.

“How can such a powerful technique find its way to a medium world?” Ankaara, the ice elemental, who had some fair knowledge of how devastating Celestial battles can be, asked.

Killing a Celestial beast with just one flame rune was something she never expected anyone in a medium world to have. Yet, looking at Lady Liora, she counted six of such runes on her body.

“This lady isn’t from a medium world. She is much stronger than a Core Formation expert. If she were to free herself, I am sure she would even surpass most of you.

I can sense a rather strong aura of death on her, so I am inclined to believe she is from a high world, maybe even an immortal world.

“Apart from that, she is even hiding her true power. But as to how she had this technique, I am 100% sure it was from her master. The Celestial told me that whenever I meet someone with these flame runes on their body, I should protect them, that they are her disciples in a way.

“The Supreme called Purple Flame Lady is her direct disciple, and there is an unruly god running around with the same runes on her body, so I am sure this lady is the fourth or perhaps fifth generation Disciple of that Celestial.”

On the battlefield, Lady Liora was merely waving her hand, sending powerful flame attacks at the vampires.

However, if one looked closely, one could see she was indeed holding herself back.

As to why she was doing that, only she knew.

“This is crazy. It is like the more we kill them, the stronger they become,” Queen Jascia said, beheading a vampire.

Around her, thousands of vampires had died, with a few half-elves in the mix. However, as more continued to die, she began to sense the strength of the vampire still alive rising by the second.

And it wasn’t just her who noticed these changes. Many had already sensed this anomaly.

Vexthra narrowed her eyes when she also saw this. “The blood is powering them. If this goes on for long, many on our side will start dying.”

She was about to send Velyra to handle the blood when Sylara rose into the air and formed a hand seal.

“Blood Transformation,” she muttered coldly, causing thousands of vampires to pause and look at her.

“Kill her!” They charged toward her, weapons stabbing and swinging. However, just before they could get within five meters of her, Vaelros appeared, and a large chain formed a barrier around Sylara.

“There will be no stabbing today, fellas.” With a wave of his hand, a thick chain came out of nowhere and slammed into the bodies of the hundreds of vampires charging at Sylara.

“Continue, Sylara. I will hold them back.”

Sylara nodded and formed another hand seal. Suddenly, the blood on the battlefield started to move toward her.

Deep inside the crack, a three-meter-tall vampire, wielding a bow, looked in the direction of Sylara, and a frown appeared on his face.

Beside him were five others, each much more powerful than the vampires on the battlefield.

“Blood Transformation.” His face paled. “She is using Blood Transformation.”

The vampires who heard him turned and looked at Sylara in the distance. “How is she using Blood Transformation? Not even the Vampire King can use Blood Transformation.”

This shock rippled across the thousands of vampires yet to arrive on the battlefield. Naturally, they knew what had to be done; however, they were hesitating.

Blood Transformation was a powerful skill among the vampires. It was said that during the Primordial Era, the original vampires had a technique that allowed them to create powerful seals using the blood of the slain.

It was said to be so powerful that the original vampires rose through the ranks, becoming one of the most powerful races in the universe. However, after the fall of the Primordial Era, the technique was lost.

But now, everyone was looking at the long-lost technique being used.

What was even worse was that the moment Sylara activated the Blood Transformation technique, the vampires lost their connection to the blood they were using to empower themselves.

“What should we do? It is said that if one’s bloodline is strong enough, killing someone who has the Blood Transformation has a slim chance of inheriting it.

“Among us, only the king has the bloodline and maybe some luck to claim it. Should we inform him?” one of them asked, but the look on the faces of everyone said otherwise.

“The king is busy at the moment, so calling him will be bad. However, how about we six go catch her and bring her to the king?”

“That is easier said than done. Don’t you see the terrifying chains around her and that horned brute protecting her? Getting close will be hard.”

They all went back to staring at Sylara, hovering in the air with torrents of blood moving toward her. They hesitated, and then one of them moved.

However, before he could get close to the crack, his body halted, and he pulled back.

CRACK

The space split open, revealing the void. From within the void, six new figures emerged, bringing with them a powerful aura.

The thousands of vampires in line, including the three-meter-tall vampire who had spotted Sylara, went down on their knees and greeted the six figures. “We greet the Six Blood Royals.”

The six vampires that arrived—four males and two females—were the Six Royals in charge of the Normal Vampire Army.

The moment they stepped out of the void, they looked coldly at Sylara, then a glint appeared in their eyes.

“Listen to order. Everyone should charge out. It is time to end this farce,” the First Blood Prince said, pointing his spear forward.

He then turned to the five behind him and said, “Let’s get this over with.”

They moved, and on the battlefield, everyone felt six powerful presences coming through the cracks
