Primordial Chaos Dragon Tower: Harem System

Chapter 564 - 564: City of Angels

“Destiny Key.” Kent retrieved a golden key that looked rather beautiful for a key. He quickly appraised it using his Enchanted Eyes.

“Fascinating… not even a name.” Kent turned the key around for a few seconds, even going as far as dripping his blood on it to see if that would trigger something. However, nothing happened.

“No name, no description aside from the obvious name, which for some reason sounded vague.” Kent stared hard at the key, but nothing triggered, so he let it rest.

“I don’t know which destiny this key will open, but it feels important even though I don’t know what it does. I’d better hold on to it securely,” He put it in his tower storage

Kent sighed, knowing the failure to identify the use of the key wasn’t deliberate. Perhaps the laws didn’t want him to know just yet, or maybe something entirely was blocking him from knowing.

However, while he was sighing, far in the cosmos, perhaps farther from Kent’s universe, a star shone brightly for a few minutes before dimming.

Though he was quick to put the key in his Tower storage, inside that storage, the key also shone for a few more minutes before it calmed down.

Kent relaxed his muscles for a few minutes before he went ahead to check the second item.

This was a manual, just like the one he had received about the first Bloodmancer.

“The City of Angels.”

That was the title of the manual. He quickly opened it, and to his surprise, it was written in a language he could read, so he dug in.

“Long ago, before the war of the Angels and demons, marking the destruction of one of the greatest races and the disappearance of another, there was an angel called Seraphil.

She was one of the five daughters of the Angel King.

Despite being the youngest of her sisters, she was regarded as the strongest. This was because she had never put her sword down since the day she learned how to walk.

Many called her a man-woman because she never dressed like a woman. She preferred her trousers and leather long-sleeved regardless of the event she was invited to or required to attend.

This made her unattractive to her sisters and most angel Princes

However, she didn’t care because she had many friends with whom she played daily, despite her family’s constant reminders that she was a princess.

Eventually, thousands of years passed, and Seraphil became a big shot in the Angel army. She even qualified to become the general of the entire army. However, she rejected the offer and said she would rather remain a loyal soldier.

Though that was just bullshit, nobody would dare command someone who could defeat the general with just a single move.

Her family tried to bring her back to the royal family to do her duties as a princess, but she rejected them at every turn.

“I would rather marry my sword than another man.” That was her reply every time. Eventually, the royal family forgot they had a fifth daughter, something she wanted.

However, one fateful day, without any warning, the demon army arrived with nothing but murder in their eyes.

It was an impromptu battle that the angel race, despite being known as one of the races wielding the mightiest army in the universe, was caught off guard.

The battle was severe and brutal; however, half the angel army was annihilated when it ended. Their general was captured and executed the next day after the battle.

His head hung at the crossing.

This angered the angel race, but retaliation wasn’t an option with their army cut in half. This broke Seraphil’s heart.

She wanted revenge, but she was not allowed, even going as far as locking her in the most secure prison in fear she might poison her fellow soldiers into following her to their unfortunate death.

But while they thought they were protecting her and her fellow soldiers, what they never planned was the fact that locking her in the most secure prison of the angel race would bring her closer to Bob, a mysterious prisoner who had been locked there for millions of years.

She met Bob, who, after ten years, found out was a swordsman with an unrivaled technique that once shook the universe.

“Starfall”

When Seraphil found out Bob was the creator of the infamous Starfall sword technique, she tried everything she could to make him teach her.

However, no matter what she did, Bob was never moved. Thus, the last hundred years of Seraphil’s life before she was released were spent hating Bob for being selfish.

She knew if she learned Starfall, she alone could get the revenge she craved on the demon race. But alas, Bob never even flinched when she asked, even going as far as offering to marry him and become his wife.

Bob’s existence was strange and unique.

After her release, she tried to discover more about him, but nobody knew anything about his lineage, not even the Angel King.

However, she did find something: Bob was the mysterious swordsman who defeated a clone of Lord Genesis a long time ago.

However, was he really the same person? Was Bob the person who defeated a clone of the father of swordsmen?

Was he truly the creator of Starfall?

If he were indeed the creator, then what is Starfall? What exactly is Starfall?

Something that made a princess who hated the word marriage offer to marry Bob just for the technique named Starfall.

If that was the case, what then happened to Bob after the Angel race disappeared? Was he perhaps taken with them since the prison is part of the Angel race domain?

If he died, does that mean the legendary technique died with him?

Also, what happened to Seraphil?

One more thing, who exactly is Bob?

Many questions remain unanswered, including the legend of the City of Angels, the brave warrior princess, and Bob.

Perhaps this is just a big giant coincidence, but then again, are coincidences really a thing?”

Kent took a deep sigh, closing the book.

“City of Angels”

“Seraphil”

“Bob”

“Starfall”

Kent placed the four names in the back of his mind. He knew things were not as simple as they appeared, so those four names stayed in his thoughts.

Thus, he knew he must look into it. However, he had other engagements to attend to first.
