The moment Pill Immortal Flura stood at the center of the stage, everyone quieted down. They all turned their attention toward her.
After all, they had come to witness her attempt at the impossible.
Pill Immortal Flura first turned toward an elevated platform where ten elders sat behind a table laden with lavish fruits and other delicacies.
The first five were the Sect Masters of the Five Pill Sects in the Eastern Region. They are among the powerhouses in the pill world in the Eastern region.

The other four elders seated beside them were the heads of the Four Pill Clans.

Lastly, the final elder, whose authority had ultimately determined whether this gathering could proceed, nodded toward Pill Immortal Flura, and she nodded back in return.
"Thank you all for coming," she said.
"Then you’d better make my trip here worthwhile," Clan Chief Laiyan said as he took a bite of meat.
He was the only one among the four clan heads who had never threatened Pill Immortal Flura.
That said, he had spent years trying to set her up with one of his grandchildren, but Flura rejected all of them. In a way, she saved them from Kent’s wrath.
Hearing him speak, Pill Immortal Flura smiled and nodded.
Just as she was about to address everyone and then start with her concoction, a dark-haired beauty entered the arena with a brown-haired lady by her side.
The dark-haired woman was an Immortal King, just like Pill Immortal Flura.

"Sorry, I’m late, Pill Immortal Flura. I hope I didn’t interrupt anything," the dark-haired beauty said with an apologetic smile.

"Right on time, Lady Veth."
"Wonderful," Lady Veth replied with a bright smile before quickly taking her seat.
The brown-haired Demigod beside her also sat down.
Looking around, Kent could tell that many throughout the arena couldn’t hide their surprise.
Who in the Eastern Region didn’t know Lady Veth, the owner of the legendary [Dream Pill Emporium]?
Almost every pill produced within the Eastern Region—and even many from other regions—could be found within her stores.
In fact, even if they didn’t have a particular pill in stock, they would find a way to acquire it for you, provided you could afford the price.
Her influence stretched far and wide.
As such, the moment she arrived, many who had not been taking Pill Immortal Flura’s gathering seriously immediately sat upright.
Meanwhile, Kent smiled slightly from his corner when he saw Lady Veth arrive alongside the Serpent Guard he had given her back when he traveled through time to the Pill World to act as her friend and guardian.
It seemed that even after all these years, she still trusted the guardian he had left in her care.

He smiled again and decided to let her be for now. When the time was right, he would reveal himself.
"Thank you for all coming," Pill Immortal Flura began. "I called you all here not to waste your time, but to witness history being written right before your eyes.
"Over the years, I have learned, relearned, and continued learning everything I could about alchemy.
"From the day I set out to become an alchemist, I faced many obstacles. The first obstacle was arrogance. Back in the High World, I felt like I was the best among my peers. Because of that, I looked down on everyone around me.
"However, an encounter with someone far below my rank changed everything. He not only defeated me without even trying, but he also made sure I understood what it truly meant to be an alchemist.
"In his own words, he said that on the path of alchemy, there is always someone better. However, if you wish to make a difference, you must carve your own path and walk it wholeheartedly.
"His words touched me, and since then, I have been walking my own path. It has served me well to this very day.
"Today, I seek to accomplish what has never been achieved in the history of alchemy.
"I seek to concoct a Tier 22 Soul Tempering Pill with two Crimson, five Violet, and ten Azure Pill Rings. To do so, I will use 14 high-quality Tier 22 ingredients.
"As for whether or not I can accomplish this feat, I believe I can. That is why I invite everyone here to witness the birth of the first Immortal-Grade Pill with two Crimson Pill Rings."
After saying what she had to say, she opened the floor for questions.

She answered each one to the best of her ability, but when one particular question was asked, the entire venue fell silent.
Kent, who had been seated quietly, suddenly raised his hand and stood up.
"Hello. I only have one question," Kent said, a smile forming on his face.
"From what I have read, nobody has ever attempted what you are about to accomplish.
"And if history serves us right, all those who achieved what was once considered impossible were recognized by the Pill Dao, and their names were forever engraved upon the Pill Dao Tablet.
"Are you seeking to have your name placed there, among legends such as Pill Celestial Kevin Sage and the recently added young prodigy, Kent Madson?"
Pill Immortal Flura blinked a few times before smiling.
"I have always dreamed of having my name there. So yes, this endeavor is my attempt to have my name engraved upon the Pill Dao Tablet and be recognized by the Pill Dao.
"That said, I do not consider myself equal to the founding fathers who paved the way for us.
"But if history wishes to place my name there, then who am I to refuse?" She smiled, which made many also smile.
"Thank you for answering my question, and I wish you all the best," Kent said with a smile before sitting back down.
Now that the memories of Kevin Sage had returned to him, he could tell at a glance that Pill Immortal Flura was extremely confident in herself.
That made him wonder where such confidence came from.
Then again, time would tell.
After answering a few more questions, she bowed lightly and sat behind her cauldron.
She gently brushed her palm across its surface for a moment before smiling.
Soon, a yellow flame ignited and surrounded the cauldron.
Then a red flame emerged and joined it, beginning to heat the cauldron from another angle.
Many widened their eyes at the sight.
Activating two flames from the very beginning was enough to shock even experienced alchemists.
Over the years, countless people had wondered just how many flames she possessed.
