Primordial Chaos Dragon Tower: Harem System

Chapter 1405 The Reunion

Chapter 1405 The Reunion

As the days went by, the ladies started to worry about Risana. It had been two weeks since she arrived in the tower, but she had yet to wake up.

The other three Red Foxes that Adina brought with her had long since woken; even the one whose body Adina possessed briefly during their mission had woken after 5 days and had already settled in.

Just like the other prisoners, they too were slaves to the Dark Heir. Only that, instead of using them as target practice, he kept them as sex slaves.

So having the freedom to leave for themselves now was the best thing that had ever happened to them.

But Risana was still not up. This left the ladies on edge, especially Vexthra. She had been restless the past week.

Thankfully, a week later, Risana woke up.

When her eyes opened, the most beautiful sight greeted her. The ladies, in their effort to make sure she woke up happy and safe, moved her to a garden filled with lush white plants and flowers.

So when she opened her eyes, the first thing she saw was a lush forest allowing rays of yellow sun to filter through the gaps in the leaves and branches. It was beautiful, so instead of panicking, she seemed a bit calm.

The girls had already role-played this moment many times, so they stayed back, scattered across the Love Space.

As Risana raised her small body and sat on the bed, she started to look around her. The last thing she remembered was Unity’s voice in her head telling her to use her vivid imagination to imagine a rather amazing scenery.

She passed out a few seconds into the narrative. But she can still remember that vividly.

It took a few turns to spot Unity, who wasn’t that far from her.

This caused her to move back to her bed, a wave of fear washing over her. However, as if her movement was loud, Unity turned and saw her wake up.

“Finally,” Unity said with a smile before she started walking toward her. Risana panicked, but then she sensed some familiarity with the voice that spoke to her.

“U-Unity,” she called out, and Unity nodded. In no time, she was standing beside her bed. “Glad to see you are finally awake. We’ve been worried sick.”

“We?” Risana turned and looked around her.

“Girls, she is awake.”

Vexthra appeared like a ghost, followed by Lilian, then Selene. In no time, they all appeared one by one, their expressions filled with smiles.

Risana frowned a bit, looking at the new faces that started appearing from thin air. In no time, she was surrounded on all sides.

Her eyes darted from one face to the next. One could see the fear in her eyes as she looked around. However, just when her eyes landed on Vexthra, she paused.

“It-It is you,” she said softly…

Vexthra tried to keep her composure, but at the look on Risana’s face, her tears rolled down.

“Risana, do you know who she is?” Unity asked Risana.

“Yes. I don’t know how, but I know her. I don’t know her name, but she is inside my head and speaks to me sometimes.”

The ladies turned and looked at Vexthra, then darted their eyes to Risana. Vexthra tried her best, but her tears continued to fall.

Risana had no idea what was happening. However, seeing Vexthra cry seemed to sour her mood. Unity, being the most in tune with emotion among her sisters, saw this and did what she knew was right.

She called away her sisters, leaving only Vexthra and Risana.

After standing there for a few minutes, Vexthra jumped on the bed and tightly hugged Risana. She was startled at first, but in no time, she started to enjoy the hug.

They remained in that position for a few minutes before Vexthra pulled back. She wiped her tears and caught her breath before she spoke.

“Sorry about that. I just miss you so much,”

“Oh, are you also having me inside your head?” Risana asked, her innocent expression melting Vexthra’s heart. She was already made aware by Uncle Drew’s words that, most of the time, the Heavens’ daughters suffer.

And since Risana was captured as a slave to be used for target practice, she knew she had suffered. She is about 20 years old, but she has never known happiness, not even once.

However, despite it all, her innocence still remained. That innocence was now melting the heart of a goddess who had missed her sister for millions of years

already.

Vexthra’s sister died during the transition.

It was the point where the old era was ending and a new era was about to emerge. It was said that ascending to godhood during those times was easy, so many demigods chose then to become gods.

They had plans to become gods back then. But before that could happen, she was killed by the God of Alchemy. Thankfully, she had been reborn, and that was just not something Vexthra planned on taking for granted.

“You are more than inside my head, Risana. You are inside my heart and soul. I

am so happy to see you again.”

Risana nodded, her beautiful blue eyes looking into Vexthra’s.

“By the way, my name is Vexthra.”

Risana nodded again.

They stared into each other’s eyes for a few seconds before Vexthra took her

hand. “Let’s go meet the rest of my sisters.”

They soon left the garden and headed to a waterfall, where the ladies were

waiting for them.

Risana had no memories of her past life, but everyone was aware that she was

indeed Vexthra’s sister. So naturally, she was their sister too.

“This place is so beautiful. There are so many beautiful flowers here.”

“I know,” Vexthra smiled. “You always loved flowers.”

“Flowers are beautiful.”

As they moved toward the waterfall, Vexthra asked about Risana’s life. From what she said, it was clear she had been through a lot of hardship.

To her, she had no parents because, for as long as she could remember, she had been on her own. She survived by helping wash plates in inns and restaurants. Sometimes she was paid with food, but most times she had to eat leftovers.

As she grew up, the businesses she worked for began to pay her some copper coins from time to time. She mostly spent them on food. But she saved some to buy a low-level cultivation manual since she learned cultivators don’t go

hungry.

To her, feeling her stomach is what she lives for. But since she had no money for food, she might as well find a way to cheat hunger.

“It was the biggest mistake I ever made.” Risana shook her head, a small, bitter

smile playing on her lips.

“Why? What happened?”

“Let’s just say I wasn’t the only one hungry!”

“So you were scammed,” Vexthra laughed, causing Risana to pout.

“In my defense, I didn’t know the manual was fake. It was only later, when I

snuck into a dojo and got caught, that the master there told me it was fake.

He made me sleep there for 3 years since I broke in. After that, he let me go with an authentic cultivation manual.” She paused and sighed before adding, “That was 2 years ago. I am 20 now.”

“Two years to reach the Root Ascension, huh?”

“Too low, I know. It was just that I had no money to buy treasures, so that was

the best I could do.” Mistaking Vexthra’s words, Risana defended her

achievement by adding a more shocking reveal.

Vexthra just shook her head and smiled.

Using two years with no treasure to move from a mortal to Root Ascension

doesn’t make her a prodigy. It makes her a monster…
