Chapter 1386 The Eighth Floor - Greed King (2)

Chapter 1386 The Eighth Floor – Greed King (2)

[Name: Planet Killer Dungeon]]

[Floor Name: Greed King (8th)]]

[Power Level: Empyrean]]

[Description:

→ Blue Ivy Island was once a vibrant and lush island that had been the home of the green Elves for countless years. They were ruled by the benevolent Elven King. He was a powerful Mind Cultivator whose leadership had protected his people from all kinds of threats.

→→ 15 years ago, the Elven King got greedy. He started asking for more, wanting to be more. Later, he became obsessed with breaking the limit the heavens had placed on him because he lived in a high world.

→ His advisors did all they could to stop him before things got out of hand. However, he didn’t listen, and in the end, it became clear that his actions would put the lives of the masses in danger.

→ So, to protect everyone, they sealed him away, bringing an end to his greed.

However, 10 years ago, the seal that was used to imprison him was tampered with by an unknown person.

→ Due to this, the Elven King started gaining his freedom, and 10 years later, the seal had reached the point where it wouldn’t hold for long.

→→ The Green Elves know they are outmatched since, from what they have sensed, their King seems to have succeeded in his endeavour. He had broken the limit and ascended to the next stage. This prompted them to call for help.

→However, for reasons unknown, the help they called for would never make it to the island. In three days, if help doesn’t come, they could leave the island; everything would come to an end. The green elves would be wiped from the face of the universe for good.]]

[Your mission is to find a way to get to the island and kill the Greed King. Also, ensure the ships sailing to the island make it there within five days]]

[Rewards]]

40 Billion Tower Points

→ 400 Billion Soul Essence

→ Limit Breaker Key (Everybody)

→ Innate Talent Awakening Pill

Kent and the team read the mission a few times before turning to look at each other. The mission was just like any other they had completed before.

However, this one seemed to have some unknown variables. The first variable concerned the person who tampered with the seal imprisoning the Elven King.

This could be someone within the ranks of the Green Elves, or perhaps someone completely outside the island. It remains unknown, but Kent would bet his money on an external threat.

So that was a big variable.

The second issue was that the aid they had requested would not reach the island in time. The storm around them was a clear sign that someone was pulling strings to prevent them from getting there.

ROAR

Suddenly, a powerful roar came from 600 meters away, just as the sea parted, and a large whale with a metallic carapace dove out of the water and slammed back in, causing the sea to surge violently.

“Hold on!”

The captain of the ship shouted, using his expertise to control the ship in order not to let the wave push them off course.

Kent used the time to turn, and what he saw made him finally understand what was happening. Behind them, over 50 ships could be seen moving in the same direction as the first ship.

It was clear this mission had just become more than killing the Greed King. The details said they should help the ships get to the island, but they said nothing about protecting 50-plus ships.

Just as he turned back to face Vexthra and the team, the captain of the ship they were on approached them.

“Excuse me, but who are you people, and where did you come from?”

Vexthra’s mind scrambled for a few seconds to come up with a logical answer that would justify why they had suddenly appeared out of nowhere and were standing on the deck of a ship that had only a few crew members and guards. It would be rather ridiculous of her to say this was a dungeon and that they had come to clear the dungeon floor.

Or even more ridiculous to say the universe had sent them to come save them. Both answers would have made them look suspicious and a bit crazy. So she played the only card she had.

She pointed at Kent. “This is Kent Madson.”

The captain turned to Kent, and for a second, he remained unmoved. Then a smile appeared on his face… “Are you really Kent Madson?”

Kent smiled and nodded. “I am.”

“Awesome. I am a huge fan.”

Kent glared at Vexthra before turning to the captain. “Good to meet a fan. However, I came here today not to chat-well, we can chat after this mission- but I am here to ensure you and the others make it to Blue Ivy Island.”

“Okay. I am Captain Yue. It has been three days since this storm started, and it only seems to be getting worse. We tried all we could, but until the beasts causing the storm are taken care of, there is no way we can get to our

destination.

But even if we could find a way around, it would take a month to get to the

island.”

“Rest assured, Captain Yue, we will get you to your destination. But for now, go back and keep the ship on course. Leave the rest to my team and me.”

He nodded and left, feeling more relieved.

Kent turned to Vexthra. “Really, that was the best you could have done?”

She smiled. “It got the job done, didn’t it?”

“Unbelievable.” Kent shook his head in amusement before asking, “So what

next?”

“The mission said we have three days before it would be too late. Now that we know the ships have been stuck for three days, it is safe to say we may already

be too late.

So, to get ahead of things, you will take Zaila with you and head to the island first. Kaizo will lead the rest to keep the ships on course. They will have to

battle the sea beasts.

But you and Zaila must get to the island before the Greed King is freed. Since he is a Mind Cultivator, Zaila is the only one who can battle him. Your job is to make sure no unknown variable interferes with their battle.”

Kent nodded.

“We will be on our way then.” Kent reached for Zaila’s hand. “Do you want to wait for me in the tower, or do you want to feel how fast I can move?”

Of course, Zaila would love that, so she jumped into his arms, causing Unity and her sisters to become jealous.

Kent smiled, and his dragon wings appeared on his back. Then, activating 50,000 flame veins, they took to the sky and vanished from sight, leaving flame

trails behind them.

The ladies could only watch and wish they were in Zaila’s place. Even Vexthra and Miryssa, who are goddesses, wished for that too.

In the end, the mission was to ensure the ships reached the island.

“Alina, reinforce the ships, and Kaizo, make sure the beasts don’t come any

closer to destroying any of the ships.”

“Let’s go, people, time to kill some sea beasts.” Kaizo turned to Ankaara. “This is

your domain, so lead the way.”

Ankaara, being an Ice Elemental, would be at her strongest now that she had a

large mass of water at her disposal.

She moved to the edge of the ship and formed a few starry ice constructs. She

threw them into the water, then closed her eyes. A few seconds later, she pointed to the west. “We have incoming. Thousands of them.”
