Primordial Chaos Dragon Tower: Harem System

Chapter 1082: The Legion Dominates (2)

Chapter 1082: The Legion Dominates (2)

So the void did have air, and in some aspects, also time. But as to how it works or could be navigated, it all depended on how one chose to see the void.

The space rippled with each strike, sending shockwaves that shredded anything too close. A man in black armor tried to block with his shield, but the force crushed him into fragments of light and dust.

Veydris was using Void Energy inside the void. This made every attack several times stronger. And while he was facing beings far stronger than him, inside the void, they were forty percent weaker.

So while Veydris and Irina were perhaps fighting at two hundred percent of their usual strength, their opponents were severely weakened.

Irina spun beside him, her twin short swords glinting with a silver hue. She dashed between enemies, her movements fluid and unpredictable.

One moment, she was in front of a warrior, and the next, behind him, slashing his throat open before his mind could even process it.

Blood drifted upward like floating red mist.

“Don’t let them escape!” one of the trapped warriors shouted, gathering a burst of blue flame in his palm. He hurled it forward, lighting up the void.

Irina smiled. “I don’t know how you see or what way your eyes work, but we aren’t trying to escape. We actually want to kill you guys, so don’t worry, you will have plenty of chances to make us not have a way to escape.”

She stepped sideways, and the flame passed harmlessly by. She flicked her wrist, and a short blade of pure void energy pierced through the man’s chest.

Irina laughed, a chilling sound that made even the void tremble. “I guess you won’t be around to make us not have what it takes to escape.”

Veydris swung again, his sword releasing a shockwave that sent five warriors flying into a broken fragment of void space. The fragment shattered, devouring them instantly.

They probably would die in the most horrible way possible.

Entering a broken fragment of void space was like entering a pressing room full of needles. The closer the walls moved, the more piercing one would feel, only that this time, the pain would be ten times more painful.

It would feel like the void was closing in on you over and over again until everything went dark.

Irina landed beside Veydris, her boots barely touching the glossy, grassy ground. “Veydris, have I ever told you how hot you look whenever you do badass things?” she flirted, slashing through another warrior’s abdomen.

Veydris said nothing because he didn’t speak. But if he could speak, he would have told her to focus on the battle and stop wasting her time on pointless flirts.

Irina had this obsession with Veydris that even Kent couldn’t wrap his mind around. Of course, he was happy for his pal.

However, Veydris was a robot with virtually no emotions, while Irina was a beautiful woman whom many men would kill to have.

So this obsession toward Veydris made Kent wonder just what she was after…

Aside from teaming up, which one had to say—they were pretty damn good. Veydris couldn’t sexually satisfy her because, well, the guy was a robot with no dick.

However, Irina always found time to flirt with him.

But, as always, Veydris just ignored her and focused on what he was after—killing these bastards.

Another group of ten surrounded them. Each one unleashed their power at once—light, fire, darkness, and metal mixed into a storm of chaos.

Veydris raised his sword and slammed it into the ground. A pulse of dark red energy erupted from him, disintegrating everything within a ten-meter radius.

Irina used the opening to launch her own silent attack.

She jumped high, spinning through the air, her blades forming a whirl of silver light. “Whispering Cut!” she yelled.

The attack sliced through five warriors at once, leaving their bodies floating lifelessly in the void.

“Twenty-nine,” Irina counted with a grin. “Only thirty-one more.”

“Correction.” The next second, Irina said, flicking her blade to remove the blood. “I believe that makes it twenty-eight.” She pointed behind him, where one warrior’s body was slowly dissolving into shadow dust.

Veydris was a multitasker.

They continued moving together, their rhythm perfect. Every time Veydris swung, Irina followed. Every time Irina moved, Veydris guarded.

Their teamwork was seamless, and as they continued to fight, they built on that experience, strengthening their team further.

Meanwhile, Sylara had slowly raised her strength to a terrifying new level just from drinking the blood of her opponents.

She kept draining them, making sure every kill gave her something. The more she drank, the stronger she got until finally, she became a red blur on the battlefield.

She was just like Kent; they had no limit.

The more blood she drank, the stronger she got. There was no limit to how far she could raise her strength.

Even without her Blood Hunger Seal, she could continue to raise her strength. The only downside to this boost, now that she didn’t have her blood hunger seal, was that it was temporary.

She would lose everything after forty-eight hours.

However, with the Blood Hunger Seal, she could keep her strength permanent, making her a menace in combat.

But since they were fighting against beings far stronger than they were, she could only work on building the strength that even monarchs would be afraid of.

’If only I had my Blood Hunger. This battle would have raised my strength to the point that even I could go a few rounds with immortals.’

Sylara sighed and made a promise to herself. ’Next time, I will form more than one Blood Hunger deal. This way, sacrificing one wouldn’t affect me much.’

After saying that to herself, she ran toward Queenie’s direction. She could tell Queenie was also a blood user, so it was best if they exchanged a few pointers and saw where it led.

Kent used the soul map and saw that the battle would soon end.

Though his side had lost so many warriors, winning in the end was all that mattered.

The angels were down to the last few, and the monarchs were also down to less than 1,500. As for the Neburians, he could tell they were as good as dead, especially with Nykali and Asmodeus taking charge.

’In the end, it is all about winning. Those who died will be celebrated, and those still living will continue to grow so that one day, they can get revenge for the dead.’

Kent sighed.

He could only wish he had the power to prevent all this—the senseless deaths and the cheating the heavens did to make sure the Paragon suffered. If he had the means, he would have prevented all that.

But in the end, it was all about who got the last laugh.

The Paragon and his people would, and that alone was more than enough to make the heavens cry blood.

Suddenly, Kent saw Paragon kill the demi-dragon. But right when he did, a powerful aura came from the demi-lion, pushing Paragon back.

Kent’s eyes narrowed as a powerful, life-threatening feeling emanated from the demi-lion. ’I can’t take on this person even if I use my True Dragon form,’ Kent said.

However, when he turned to look at Paragon, he saw a smile appear on Paragon’s face…

’Oh, this should be fun.’
