Chapter 1079: Vexthra’s Dominance
Chapter 1079: Vexthra’s Dominance
The moment all the portals closed, it became clear that the battle was finally coming to an end.
This was a good sign; however, Kent wasn’t relaxed at all.
He turned and looked in Paragon’s direction.
The six Nirvana stage warriors he was fighting were all alive. However, the demi-dragon had lost one arm, the elf had lost an eye, and the ice demon was in full-on attack mode.
The demi-lion and the supreme human were still in good shape. However, the masked figure seemed to be getting stronger.
Naturally, this was a good and bad thing for the Paragon, who was also bleeding from more than one place. However, for some reason, Kent couldn’t help but think that Paragon might be planning something.
“Can he make it?” Kent muttered.
⟦The master shouldn’t worry. Since, after an hour, they couldn’t kill him, he will be able to persevere and win in the end… That is, if nothing else happens.⟧
“Don’t raise flags, Tower. We are going to win, and that is a fact.”
⟦I know, master. We are indeed going to win.⟧
Although the odds were still against them, they wouldn’t back down. That alone was a good sign that they were indeed on the grind.

Meanwhile, somewhere in the underworld, Vexthra stood calmly in the air, looking coldly at Yama, the Underworld King.
“Who are you, and how dare you invade my domain?” Yama asked, his expression also cold. He was having a good time watching the Paragon suffer, only for this bitch to enter his domain uninvited.
Vexthra didn’t blink at his question. Instead, she spoke coldly…
“You are going to release the seal you have on the seven demons you released, and whatever hold you have over that young man, you are going to cancel it.”
“What if I said no?”
Vexthra raised her hand and gestured down. In an instant, Yama dropped to one knee, beads of sweat forming on his forehead.
“Supreme…” he muttered, his expression turning pale.
“No… I am just a god like you. But unlike a scum who preys on the weak and vulnerable, I actually dedicate my time to being an actual god—something you and all those scums would never know because you never actually do what is required of a god.
As a god, you are to maintain the fairness that separates mortals from us. You are to make them feel safe, not scared.
It sickens me to see gods abusing their powers.”
Vexthra was clearly angry, as her expression slowly began to take on her god form—her true Hatred and Resentment.
She took one step forward, and Yama crashed to the other knee.
Then she took another, causing him to almost lie face-first on the ground.
“I can’t kill you simply because killing a god bound to a domain makes you the new owner. I have no plans on becoming an Underworld God… so I will spare your life.
However, two things will happen, and depending on your response, you may either become grateful we met or extremely regretful, wishing we had never met again.”
Vexthra took the third step, and Yama was now lying face down on the ground.
“I am going to say two things, and you are going to make them happen, or else I will taint your law of self and forever ruin you as a god.
The souls down here are full of hatred and resentment, and in case you are not aware, I am the Goddess of Hatred and Resentment, so don’t test me.”
Vexthra turned slightly to her left, watching Gaia, Akira, and Dori hiding behind a tree, thinking she wouldn’t see them.
However, she did, and while she didn’t smile on the outside, she chuckled inwardly, knowing Kent was the one who sent them.
“First, you are going to free the seven demons and forever wipe away your aura, making sure not even a sliver of it is left.
Second, you are going to cancel the contract you have with Paragon and make sure you never trick him into signing a contract he didn’t want.
You may be an Underworld God, but you aren’t eternal… Death is something that can happen to you, so be careful what you bargain for.”
Yama, who was both furious and in shock, nodded, knowing that staying in his current position, while his fellow gods were watching, was just too embarrassing.
He moved his finger, and two dark threads appeared.
Vexthra waved her hand, and the threads were severed.
“Good. Now compensate me for wasting my time.” Vexthra pointed at a dark core sitting on a shelf somewhere in Yama’s Underworld Vault.
The core flew through the void and landed in her palm.
“Thank you for your cooperation, Underworld King.”
Vexthra waved her hand, and a portal opened. She walked toward it, but before entering, she turned to Gaia and her sisters, causing the three lolis to put on a lost expression.
“Where are we?” Dori asked.
“One moment we were inside the tower, the next we were here,” Akira also said, causing Vexthra’s mouth to twitch.
“You can never trust this damn universe portals again. They pop up anywhere and mess with your plans…even sending you to the underworld when you clearly don’t want to”
“Let’s go, you three troublemakers. This is not our universe, so you can’t mess around anyhow.”
“Big sister!” They ran toward Vexthra, who just chuckled, leading them through the portal.
It was only after she was gone that the pressure on Yama vanished.
Vexthra had already told Kent she could fight a Supreme on equal footing; clearly, she wasn’t kidding. Yama, with a furious expression, teleported and slammed hard into his throne.
The humiliation he had just felt was too much.
Being forced to eat dirt in his own domain made him extremely furious. If he could, he would slaughter Vexthra a thousand times over. However, he was powerless in that regard.
After all, being suppressed in his own domain is a clear sign that he can’t lay a finger on Vexthra. So all he could do was wallow in his anger.
However, things didn’t last long until a projected copy of a certain monkey appeared inside his throne room…
“Why the sour look, Yama? You were just made to eat dirt, no need to look sour about that,” the monkey said, a small mischievous giggle escaping his lips.
Yama’s frown deepened, seeing this annoying monkey come to mess with him. However, as much as he would love to kill the annoying monkey, he knew it was just a projection of an avatar of the Monkey King.
Basically, killing him was impossible…
“Don’t worry. After the awakening is over, you will have your chance to kill the main perpetrator of your humiliation today.
It is, of course, just too bad you won’t remember who the Paragon is until he chooses to reveal himself or finally becomes a god.
But either way, you will get a chance to get your revenge…”
The monkey turned toward the direction Vexthra went and smiled. “Though I wouldn’t count on that. After all, you just got your ass handed to you by an unknown woman.”
With one more giggle, the monkey left, leaving Yama to seethe quietly.
