Hearing those two words, Yu Zhizhi paused.

She opened the door while holding the Little Blue Whale. "What?"

A smile graced Ai Xi’s face. "Master Spider teleported the Little Master over first thing in the morning. The hunting season in Paradise is approaching, so he probably wants the Little Master to spend more time in the territory. He also said that once you woke up, you should remember to send him a communication."

Yusen’s blue eyes turned cold. ’This must have been Louis’s idea.’

’He actually sent the child here alone. Isn’t he worried something might happen?’

Ai Xi stepped aside. "The Little Master is in the drawing-room."

Yu Zhizhi carried the Little Blue Whale to the castle’s drawing-room.

The little blue whale’s eyes went wide. It seemed to know a rival for affection had arrived.

The door to the drawing-room opened.

Yu Zhizhi couldn’t see any sign of the Spider baby.

But the Little Blue Whale glared toward a specific spot. Behind a screen in the drawing-room, under a red curtain, a small creature was hiding.

Ai Xi, who was by the door, slowly approached the curtain.

She said softly, "Little Master, your mother is here. Don’t be shy, come out and see her."

Ai Xi knew her Little Master well. He had a timid personality, was easily embarrassed, and usually liked to hide in dark places, wrapping himself in fluffy things.

Hearing Ai Xi’s words, the little one shuffled twice and slowly revealed his head—

Ai Xi said, "Yes, the Little Master wove a portrait of you, Lady Lord, out of spider silk. It’s in the place where he lives."

At the mention of the drawing, a blush appeared on the Spider baby’s face.

His legs twitched slightly, and his dark, glossy eyes darted to the side. His palm-sized body shuffled further behind the red curtain. He had a round, plump body, and only after he had hidden himself completely did Yu Zhizhi hear the Spider baby’s soft, childlike voice—

"Mo... Mother..."

It was the first time the Spider baby had called out to her.

Yu Zhizhi felt her heart melting.

She didn’t rush to hold him, instead gently responding at his pace. She asked, "What’s your name?"

This time, Ai Xi didn’t answer for him.

The Spider baby paused for several seconds before his voice came from behind the red curtain. "Father said... I should wait for you."

"You want me to name you?"

It glared at the fluffy spider in its mother’s palm, its blue eyes filled with indignation. It slammed its tail heavily on the floor, and a crack instantly split the floorboards.
