Pregnant Bunny, Obsessed Beast Husbands
Chapter 443: Delicious Delicacy
Chapter 443: Chapter 442: Delicious Delicacy
The male Hamster warmly welcomed his two distinguished guests.
However, he felt his home was too humble, which made him a little reserved as he spoke.
Dracula entered the cramped house and placed the little rabbit on the bed. Seeing her dazed, rabbit-like eyes, he felt an impulse to crouch down and stroke her.
The room was too small for Dracula; he even had to lower his head.
Yu Zhizhi remained in her Beast Form, sitting on her haunches at the head of the bed. The day’s events had been so sudden that she still felt a little dazed.
Once her thoughts cleared, she was overcome by a faint melancholy.
‘I wonder if Little Octopus will be able to find me?’
The Hamster brought them dinner.
After he left, Dracula sat on the bed and quickly shifted into his Beast Form.
‘It seemed this would be more comfortable.’
A black Eagle suddenly appeared beside Yu Zhizhi. She froze for a moment before turning to look—
To her little rabbit body, the Eagle was massive. He had beautiful black wings that seemed to glow, sharp eyes, and terrifying talons. Even squatting silently to the side, his presence gave Yu Zhizhi an immense sense of pressure.
Dracula noticed the little rabbit staring at him in a daze. He glanced down, and their eyes met. Now that they were both in their Beast Forms, he could see her much more clearly.
Having been tucked away in his arms, the little puffball’s fur was slightly disheveled. Her ears were pricked and pointed, and her gaze was vacant. Dracula’s stern expression softened unconsciously.
Lightning flashed and thunder roared outside. Yu Zhizhi couldn’t help but lean closer, pressing against Dracula’s black wings. She noticed his body stiffen, but he didn’t resist.
This close, she could almost feel the fluctuations of spiritual power coming from him.
As her Evolution Talent developed, her sensitivity to the spiritual power of other Beastmen grew. She could now clearly sense that Dracula’s spiritual power was far, far stronger than when they had first met.
‘After being apart for so long, Dracula must have also had a breakthrough and reached an extremely high Realm.’
Yu Zhizhi’s thoughts continued to drift.
Dracula, for his part, noticed that the little rabbit had been especially clingy since the incident earlier that day. ‘She must have been truly terrified.’
Just as he was about to say something to comfort her, he saw that the little rabbit had already fallen asleep.
He watched her for a long moment, then slowly formed a Barrier to shield her from the sound of the thunder outside.
Yu Zhizhi woke up the next day feeling refreshed. The Hamster’s wife, a squirrel, brought them food. She looked shyly at the beautiful female of the Rabbit Clan and asked, “Did you sleep well last night?”
“Very well, thank you.”
Yu Zhizhi replied with a smile.
It was time for her to treat the Hamster. He was waiting for her, his face full of anticipation.
His damaged Beast Bone had condemned him to a life of poverty in Sun Ridge. If he could be cured, he could take on missions for the territory, earn a living, and provide a better life for his wife and children.
To him, this noble Rabbit Clan Lady was a savior!
For the next few days, Yu Zhizhi treated his Beast Bone every morning.
When the last fissure sealed, the male Hamster leaped up in excitement. “This is wonderful! My spiritual power is back!”
He could feel the spiritual power surging within him. Even his very bestial appearance began to change, becoming more human-like.
The Hamster bowed to Yu Zhizhi. “Miss Rabbit, thank you!”
Yu Zhizhi smiled back at him.
The Hamster’s condition hadn’t been complicated. Compared to Tang Luo Ke and Little Amon, it was much simpler, so the treatment didn’t take very long.
Dracula, who was standing nearby, reminded him, “It’s time for you to take us.”
The Hamster replied respectfully, “Of course, sir. Please, follow me.”
Yu Zhizhi understood what Dracula had said. ‘Are we going to get the Beast Bone now?’
She looked at Dracula. “Should I go with you?”
Dracula gave a slight nod.
‘Sun Ridge was filled with danger, and the little rabbit was a tempting prize. To be safe, he decided to keep her by his side.’
After saying a few words to his wife, the Hamster led them to their destination.
They arrived at what appeared to be an abandoned tomb. It was gloomy and silent; even the sound of the storm was completely devoured.
Yu Zhizhi had shifted into her Beast Form on the way there. She hid in Dracula’s arms the entire time, secretly observing her surroundings.
With his spiritual power restored, the Hamster’s physique had returned to normal, making him about the size of an average adult male. He held a sharp sword and had even donned a suit of armor he hadn’t worn in years. This was, after all, a mission he had waited a long time for.
“There are Dark Voids ahead. Be careful,” he whispered as a warning.
Dark Voids tended to gather in cold, damp, and gloomy places—they especially loved abandoned tombs like this one.
Dracula’s eyes were cold. He had already sensed hostility.
It wasn’t just the Dark Voids the Hamster had mentioned…
There was something else.
A corrosive, nauseating aura seemed to be coveting the little rabbit in his arms. That predatory gaze deeply displeased him.
Just ahead was the burial site of the skeletal remains.
Dracula’s voice was chillingly deep. “Come out.”
A piercing laugh echoed from all around, seeming to come from every direction at once.
The Hamster’s heart leaped in alarm. He quickly raised his sword and scanned his surroundings.
“I didn’t expect that after all these years, someone would still be in such a hurry to die.” A blood-red figure slowly coalesced in the air before them. It looked like a humanoid shape formed from a bloody Crow. It stared intently at the white rabbit in Dracula’s arms. “Hand over such a High-level meal, and I’ll spare your life.”
It was ravenous!
It was practically drooling!
From the moment this plump, juicy rabbit appeared, It knew there was no more High-level meal in all of Sun Ridge!
Yu Zhizhi looked up, her gaze locked by two eyes like bloody pits. Her rabbit ears trembled as she realized the creature was looking at her like a delicious meal!
She quickly buried her head, trembling as she burrowed into Dracula’s chest.
Dracula held her with one arm. He noticed her movement and paused for a second before slowly covering her with his other hand in a comforting gesture.
Seeing that it was being ignored, the Blood Shadow’s voice grew even shriller with rage. “You insolent Beastman! You deserve to die!”
Dracula paid it no mind, considering even speaking to it a waste of breath.
When the creature’s noise became unbearable, he lifted his gaze and looked at it coldly. “Annoying.”
Instantly, a crimson light flared!
Black wings unfurled from Dracula’s back. He flew into the air, raised his right hand, and gathered the surrounding air into a single point. An ink-blue Light collided with the crimson glow, and a violent tremor rocked the depths of the tomb!
The Blood Shadow was furious. It had lain dormant in Sun Ridge for a long time, and this tomb was its lair. Any Beastman who dared enter was just another meal on its plate. For many years, its life had been quite leisurely!
Until today, when it had smelled the scent of a High-level meal…
