Pregnant Bunny, Obsessed Beast Husbands

Chapter 364: "Have You Made Up Your Mind?

Many Spirit Arts could be crafted into spirit cards, making daily travel and recreation more convenient.

Flying Spirit Cards, for example, were a perfect replacement for mechanical wings.

The user could control it with their spiritual power and would need to land before their power was depleted.

This quality made it more suitable for casual enjoyment.

However, compared to mechanical wings, Flying Spirit Cards were much rarer.

Yu Zhizhi accepted the sky-blue spirit card. She was very happy to receive the gift. "Thank you~"

The sensation of flight was so magical. Even if she could only glide slowly at a low altitude, she was eager to experience it a few more times.

Ling gazed at the female of the Rabbit Clan before him, his eyes curving into a smile. The Disguise Card gave her a unique sort of cuteness. He couldn’t resist caressing her cheek, crouching down slightly to meet her gaze. "Are you staying tonight?"

Yu Zhizhi remembered she still had things to ask him about Demon Hunting City, so she nodded gently.

That night, Yu Zhizhi and Ling talked for a long, long time.

Late into the night, she grew too sleepy and slowly drifted off.

The young man from the Cat Clan watched the little rabbit curled up beside him, a fond, resigned smile gracing his lips. He tucked the blanket around her and placed a light kiss on her forehead.

"Good night."

When Yu Zhizhi woke up the next day, Ling was already gone.

He had to go to the palace every day.

From the Underground City’s daily newspaper, Yu Zhizhi learned that while their domain was safe, incidents similar to those in Greenfield City were happening outside.

After the fall of the Cangshan Empire, the gradually fracturing Land of Prophecy and Demon Hunting City were also being drawn into the conflict.

Ling was going to Demon Hunting City earlier than planned.

As the No.1 Envoy of the Divine Hall Alliance, Yu Zhizhi knew Ling was collecting the Bone Remains scattered across the lands. They were crucial for the potential war to come.

That day, the Little Snow Eagle finished his homework early and happily flew to the small tavern.

He dove headfirst into the little rabbit’s embrace. "Mama! I came to find you!"

Yu Zhizhi hugged the Little Snow Eagle. "We were just about to head out. Want to come with?"

She was going to the test flight area with the Little Octopus.

The Little Octopus loved its mechanical wings, and Yu Zhizhi wanted to try out her Flying Spirit Card. The Little Snow Eagle flapped his wings happily. He could fly, but he preferred to cling to his mother’s embrace.

Yu Zhizhi and the Little Octopus often went out to play.

The Underground City was very large, with recreational areas on every level. Here, no one paid any mind to a lop-eared rabbit and a little octopus.

After all, there were many members of the Beast Clan from the Land of Prophecy and Demon Hunting City here.

The Flying Spirit Card from Ling worked wonderfully.

Transparent, butterfly-like wings manifested by the Spirit Art appeared on Yu Zhizhi’s back. She only had to channel her spiritual power to change her direction at will.

And as long as she flew slowly, it didn’t consume much spiritual power.

But if she wanted to fly faster, or higher—

With her current spiritual power, it would be very difficult to achieve.

The Little Snow Eagle was also very happy.

He flapped his wings, staying close to his mother’s side.

Not far away, the Little Octopus’s silver mechanical wings whirred cheerfully. It charged its new toy every day and would always put them on without fail whenever it went out.

After playing until very late, they returned to the small tavern together.

The small tavern wasn’t open for business tonight.

The young Vulture had prepared a table full of food for Ling’s farewell.

The Little Snow Eagle saw the young man from the Cat Clan and greeted him politely. "Mr. Yu Ling."

He often saw this black cat at the palace.

He and his father seemed to discuss very important matters.

Yu Zhizhi saw the luggage at the side. "Are you leaving?"

The young man from the Cat Clan smiled faintly. "Mhm, I leave tomorrow morning."

Yu Zhizhi was sad to see Ling go, knowing he was leaving for a long journey. After dinner, the Little Snow Eagle fell asleep hugging his pillow, while Yu Zhizhi and Ling cleaned up the small tavern together.

’About Demon Hunting City...’

’If it weren’t for the new main quest that had started, I’d really love to go with him... though Ling did say it’s quite dangerous there.’

"When will you be back?" Yu Zhizhi couldn’t help but ask.

Ling slowly wiped the clean plates with a dry dish towel, his voice gentle. "It might take about two months. Ms. Zhi Zhi, do you... have any plans?"

In the late-night small tavern, only a single, orange-yellow lamp remained lit.

Yu Zhizhi pursed her lips. "N-Not for now. I plan to stay at the small tavern and wait until the fox is cured."

She felt a little guilty.

’Once the Purple Fox is healed, I’ll probably have to go to Moonrise with it. Ling probably won’t be back from Demon Hunting City by then.’

The young man from the Cat Clan stared into the washbasin, his amber eyes fixed. His hands never paused, wiping the white plates until they gleamed.

Yu Zhizhi stole a glance at him.

She quickly lowered her head, passed over the last plate in her hand, and turned off the faucet.

Ling spoke slowly. "The Moon Ascending Royal Family has always been desperately trying to hide something. Their bloodline is different from that of the ordinary Beast Clan."

"That place is a true tiger’s den."

’Not a suitable place for a simple little rabbit to survive.’

With her head down, Yu Zhizhi wondered if Ling knew she was going to Moonrise.

The young man from the Cat Clan set down the plate.

After wiping his hands clean, he walked toward the second floor.

He paused as he passed Yu Zhizhi. "If you run into any trouble, you can come find me in the Divine Hall Illusion Realm."

He didn’t know why she wanted to go to the Moon Rising Empire, or why she wanted to see the Moonrise Crown Prince.

But the little rabbit must have her reasons.

He just hoped everything would go smoothly for her.

The next day, Yu Zhizhi sat by the windowsill, watching Ling go off into the distance.

The Purple Fox sat nearby. It watched the cat from the Land of Prophecy leave the small tavern, its pale violet eyes landing on the female of the Rabbit Clan. "Why didn’t you go see him off?"

Yu Zhizhi shook her head.

After such a long time, the Purple Fox seemed to have gotten used to its Beast Form. It leaped down from the sofa and slowly paced around the room.

"Aren’t you two lovers?"

’If I’m not mistaken, the three Beast Eggs that the Cat Clan follower took away before belonged to this female of the Rabbit Clan. This lop-eared rabbit seems to be hiding a secret.’

Yu Zhizhi stood up from the windowsill and looked back at the Purple Fox. "Today is the last treatment session. After your injuries have fully healed, I’ll take a look at your Beast Bone for you."

The Purple Fox jumped back onto the sofa.

It was huge now, and the sofa could barely contain its size.

Yu Zhizhi couldn’t even begin to lift it.

It sat down again, its posture elegant. The purplish-white fur at its neck was exceptionally fluffy. With every treatment, it seemed to grow more spirited.

"Have you decided?"

The Purple Fox stared at the lop-eared rabbit girl in front of it. "Are you sure you want to go with me to the Moonrise Imperial City?"

It could tell the little rabbit really liked the Underground City.

Her face was full of smiles every day as she played with her pet Little Octopus from morning till night.

’Once she goes to Moonrise, it’ll be hard to be this carefree.’
