Pregnant Bunny, Obsessed Beast Husbands
Chapter 305: "Kiss me.
To Tang Luo Ke, the small, golden crescent moon on the back of the young female’s hand was exceptionally cute.
The sedative gradually began to take effect...
Tang Luo Ke felt increasingly drowsy. He couldn’t help but lean forward, his forehead resting against the young female’s shoulder.
His wolf ears touched Yu Zhizhi’s cheek.
It tickled a little.
A faint smile graced Yu Zhizhi’s lips. One of her hands was held tightly by Tang Luo Ke, and with her free hand, she couldn’t resist stroking his wolf ear.
Tang Luo Ke wasn’t asleep.
He’d had such a hard time finally seeing his little rabbit; he didn’t want to just fall asleep.
Sensing her stroking his wolf ear, Tang Luo Ke turned his head slightly, his fingers caressing the young female’s soft, warm palm.
"Be honest." Tang Luo Ke slowly lifted his head, his crimson eyes staring reproachfully at his little rabbit. "Have you fallen for him?"
’The Mermaid? Or the shark?’
’He’d heard a Mermaid had escorted her back.’
’Freezing a path of ice across the sea’s surface.’
’He’d heard a shark had chased her all the way to the Chelsea East Territory.’
’Causing the greatest disturbance in the history of Luoshua Port.’
’Fallen for... who?’
Yu Zhizhi looked at Tang Luo Ke in confusion and shook her head.
The young female’s rabbit ears twitched slightly with the movement. Due to the sedative, Tang Luo Ke was extremely weary and had almost no strength left.
A sudden, sharp pain shot through his body. He lowered his head, his short black hair drenched with sweat, and his crimson eyes seemed to be veiled in a layer of mist.
Yu Zhizhi froze for a moment. She slowly sat up and tried to embrace Tang Luo Ke.
His wolf tail gave a faint wag before curling up in front of him and landing in the young woman’s arms.
It was like a silent invitation.
Yu Zhizhi slowly stroked the fluffy black wolf tail, kneading it gently. She couldn’t help but hug it, just like a perfectly sized plush pillow.
’Would this gentle touch alleviate Tang Luo Ke’s pain?’
’She wasn’t too sure.’
When she looked up at him, she noticed his cheeks were slightly flushed, but he had turned his head away with a flustered expression, forbidding her gaze.
The thought that Tang Luo Ke had to be locked up all the time made her a little sad.
Yu Zhizhi hugged his tail, her eyes growing moist.
’If only...’
’...she could help Tang Luo Ke directly.’
She’d heard Doctor Cha Li say they had a plan for temporary control, but it meant Tang Luo Ke had to endure immense pain with each treatment.
Tang Luo Ke’s gaze fell upon the clean floor. The white light shone on them, casting their two silhouettes onto the wall.
’This was the happiest day he had ever spent in the treatment room.’
"Tang... are you feeling any better?"
Yu Zhizhi used her Healing Skill, channeling it through her touch as she stroked his wolf tail to soothe his body.
Her Healing Talent’s Level was much higher than her Evolution Talent’s.
She was also more skilled in using it.
The burning restlessness inside Tang Luo Ke gradually faded. His wolf ears twitched, and he turned his head to look at the young female sitting before him. "...No."
Yu Zhizhi looked at him earnestly. "When I get back, I’ll look for a way to find an Evolution Beast Bone."
Tang Luo Ke, who was in front of her, slowly leaned in.
On the wall, the young man’s shadow covered the young female’s.
"But I feel like I’m about to die right now."
Tang Luo Ke’s blood-red eyes stared intently at her. "I need you."
"What do you need me to do?" Yu Zhizhi asked quickly.
"—Kiss me," Tang Luo Ke said.
Yu Zhizhi’s hand, which was stroking his tail, froze. She wanted to pull away, but then she saw Tang Luo Ke’s pale face and tightly furrowed brows. He looked like he could pass out at any moment.
She slowly leaned in, tilted her chin up, and gently kissed him.
Tang Luo Ke suppressed the beastly nature within him. Instead of roughly grabbing her and pinning her down, he propped his hands up behind him, retracted his tail, and said, "Sit in my lap."
Yu Zhizhi’s fluffy, long skirt was cumbersome. She lifted the hem, let it fall, and settled into his lap. Her breathing was a little ragged. Tang Luo Ke wrapped one arm around her waist and propped the other on the floor, leaving a mark on her long, snow-white neck.
Slowly, he moved to her cheek.
Kissing the tip of her nose.
Their gazes were shrouded in mist, weaving together in inseparable strands.
Finally, he kissed her lips.
He held his little rabbit like that, kissing her for a long, long time...
The agitation within him gradually subsided, and his tail swayed gently behind him in happiness.
Yu Zhizhi’s head was spinning.
Tang Luo Ke’s form seemed to change. As the sedative’s effects wore off, he reverted to his half-Beast Form.
The Wolf Beast lifted her into his arms with ease.
Tang Luo Ke carried her to the door of the treatment room. "It’s time to go."
He set the young female down outside.
She only came up to his abdomen in this form. Without the sedative, he might accidentally hurt this fragile rabbit.
Yu Zhizhi looked up at him and slowly nodded.
"I’ll be back."
She gently squeezed Tang Luo Ke’s paw. "I’ll come find you as soon as I can."
Tang Luo Ke closed the door to the treatment room.
He watched his little rabbit leave.
When Yu Zhizhi pushed the outer door open, she saw the young doctor standing right outside. He was visibly relieved to see the noble lady emerge unharmed.
Lord Locke had ordered him to turn off the surveillance; no one knew what had happened inside.
Doctor Cha Li looked at the noble lady again, his gaze noticeably gentler than before—
’She genuinely cared about Lord Locke. It wasn’t a pretense or just empty words.’
"The Duke said that after the visit, Ms. Zhi Zhi is to be escorted directly back to the Duke Mansion," the young doctor said, leading the way.
Yu Zhizhi followed him out of the treatment facility.
A carriage was waiting outside.
Once in the carriage, she lowered the curtain and opened her Talent Atlas, hoping to find some useful information.
But she found nothing.
After returning to the Duke Mansion, Yu Zhizhi had Teacher Dai Li take her to the library. There was very little information about the Bright Moon Divine Position.
In the end, all Yu Zhizhi could find was that the Divine Hall Alliance might know something about the Evolution talent.
She stood before the bookshelf, hugging the thick Ancient Book to her chest.
’Checking the time, she realized she should be able to enter the Illusion Mirror tonight.’
After returning to her study, Yu Zhizhi found an empty room. She brought in a small wooden stool and lit a candle.
She knew the previous Spell by heart.
After reciting it, she felt a breeze brush against her cheek. When she opened her eyes, she found herself back in the Illusion Mirror, sitting in a soft red chair at a round table.
Across from her, a figure was faintly visible. It seemed to be the temple messenger who called himself Zero.
"Hello, Mr. Ling."
Yu Zhizhi adjusted her posture. The round table was large, and the temple messenger sat in the darkness, his features obscured. She could only see that he wore a white mask.
"Hello, Ms. Zhi Zhi."
Zero hadn’t expected to see her again so soon.
He had thought she would be bogged down by trivial matters and wouldn’t come to the Divine Hall’s domain for several months.
"Have you thought about my previous proposal?" Zero asked with a smile.
’Join...’
’...the Divine Hall Alliance?’
Yu Zhizhi stroked the armrest of the soft chair, feeling a little sheepish. "I haven’t decided yet... I came this time because I have something else I want to ask you."
"What is it?"
