Chapter 1370: My Husband Looks Better

“Let’s go see Aix,” Lu Yuhao sought his opinion.

“Alright, let’s go!” Gu Xiaozhan nodded.

The three of them entered the interrogation room together. Aix appeared disheartened, but his energy visibly improved when he saw Mu Anhan.

“Mrs. Gu…”

Mu Anhan nodded, “Aix, you should be aware of our country’s policy. Confession will be treated leniently, while resistance will result in harsher punishment. No matter which country you’re from, if you commit wrongdoing, you’ll face severe consequences. However, if you’re innocent, we won’t falsely accuse any good person.”

Aix held his head, “I did rent the place, but Lu Lu often stayed there. After I fell asleep, she placed a chip behind the mirror without my knowledge. As for the phone, I never bought it. Think about it, I’m a foreigner without documents. How could I even purchase a mobile SIM card under my real name? Such an obvious act, how could I do it?”

Mu Anhan looked at him, “But Lu Lu claims it was all your doing, and she’s not involved. Aix, if you can’t provide evidence to prove your innocence, your liabilities will be significant. Not to mention attempting to bomb Mr. Gu and me, as a foreign national using an explosive against our president, this charge could keep you behind bars forever without returning.”

Aix gazed at her, “And you? Do you believe me?”

“I only believe in evidence,” Mu Anhan replied emotionlessly.

Aix slammed his hand on the table, “I really just came here to work. If I had known such a situation would arise, I wouldn’t have come…”

At this point, Lu Yuhao tapped the table, “Aix, let me ask you, with your twisted mind, you forced my sister to do things she didn’t want to do. What else wouldn’t you dare to do?”

Aix’s pupils dilated instantly, “That was merely mutual attraction between us. When did I ever force her? She liked it too, didn’t she? Haven’t you noticed? She’s full of lies; nothing she says can be trusted…”

After rambling for a while, he suddenly said, “If you don’t believe me, there’s a computer in my room with recordings of what we did… Take a look, and see if what I’m saying is true or not.”

Colleagues from the forensic department came over with the computer.

They showed Gu Xiaozhan, Lu Yuhao, and Mu Anhan a segment of previously recorded footage, and it was just as Aix described. He and Lu Lu appeared very harmonious without any sign of coercion.

Lu Yuhao punched the wall, “This liar!”

Lu Lu never imagined that Aix would record these happenings and use them as proof against her falsehoods.

“Yu Hao, it’s still unclear who’s telling the truth and who’s lying,” Mu Anhan comforted him, noting his distressed expression, “Moreover, you shouldn’t feel responsible for Lu Lu’s affairs. Why don’t you go home and visit Feishuang? You and your wife haven’t seen each other for over a month!”

Upon hearing Miao Feishuang’s name, Lu Yuhao’s mood eased significantly, “Sis-in-law, if there’s any update here, please let me know. I’ll go back and see Feishuang first.”

“Go ahead!” Mu Anhan nodded.

Gu Xiaozhan and Mu Anhan walked out side by side.

He reached out and gently stroked her cheek, “Forget what we just saw.”

“Saw what?” Mu Anhan glared at him.

“What else?” Gu Xiaozhan snorted. He certainly didn’t want her to be seeing other men’s bodies.

Mu Anhan laughed so hard she couldn’t straighten up, “How could he be more handsome than my husband?”
