Chapter 963: Chapter 1180: Gemma And Julian’s Pokémon

Metagross's confused and dumbfounded expression made Gemma burst out laughing. She felt like she had hit the jackpot, quickly pulling out her phone and snapping over a dozen photos with it.

After taking photos with Metagross, Gemma turned her attention to the mountain-like Aggron.

Aggron had been resting as well, but her arrival had already woken it up.

For most people, a nine-meter-tall, Totem-class Aggron was definitely something that would inspire fear at first sight.

But in Gemma's eyes, Aggron was the second most stunning Pokémon here after Metagross.

She trotted right up to Aggron without a trace of fear, tilting her head to look up at it.

"Aggron, can I take a photo with you?"

Since Metagross had already taken photos with her, Aggron didn't refuse.

Despite its fierce appearance, Aggron was famously well-behaved within Julian's team.

Arcanine liked Aggron the most.

Not for any particular reason, but because whenever it played pranks on Aggron, the latter would respond only with a helplessly amused smile.

And so, another round of snapping began.

Even after taking more than a dozen photos, Gemma still wasn't satisfied. With a hopeful look, she looked at Aggron and asked, "Aggron, can I stand on your shoulder for a photo?"

Aggron immediately shook its head.

It was a principled Pokémon—how could it have such close contact with a human other than its trainer?

"Alright…"

Gemma felt a bit disappointed but didn't press further.

Deep down, she knew her request had been a bit unreasonable. A Champion-level Pokémon's pride and dignity would never allow her to stand on its shoulder.

But her disappointment quickly faded as she turned her gaze to Moltres.

One of the three Legendary birds—its popularity had always remained high among Legendary Pokémon.

The main reason was that among known Legendary Pokémon, the three birds were the ones most commonly captured by humans.

That also meant their overall numbers were relatively higher compared to other Mythical and Legendary Pokémon.

"Tres~"

Moltres: "You foolish human."

Seeing Gemma approach, Moltres immediately released waves of scorching heat.

Did she think it was like that silly dog? It was a Champion-level Pokémon—and a Legendary one at that. Its status was on an entirely different level.

Let her take selfies with it? She was dreaming.

Under the scorching heat waves, Gemma was directly forced back.

She realized that Moltres didn't like her—but that was fine, there were still plenty of Julian's other Pokémon around.

Dragonite, Garchomp, Salamence, Duraludon, Tyranitar, Bisharp, and Aegislash were all there.

Garchomp and Salamence had expressions that clearly said "come any closer and I'll swallow you whole," so Gemma wisely kept her distance. The other Pokémon, however, were quite cooperative and happily took selfies with her.

Even the usually cold Bisharp didn't refuse.

"Milo~"

As she passed by a pond, a soft, ethereal voice sounded. Gemma turned her head and saw Milotic rising from the bottom of the pond.

Water droplets slid off its body as it gently shook its head, the droplets refracting rainbow-colored light in the sun, like a beautiful rainbow blossoming before her.

The enchanting and ethereal presence left Gemma standing there as if her soul had been taken away.

In a daze, she seemed to see Julian—bare-chested, with well-defined muscles, eight-pack abs, and that handsome yet carefree face.

Then she saw him make a heart gesture toward her.

Her nose suddenly felt warm.

"Dee~"

Seeing Gemma suddenly freeze and then start having a nosebleed, Love immediately grew concerned.

"Ah—no, no, I'm fine! The weather's been dry lately, so I get nosebleeds easily," Gemma said, her face burning red, wishing she could just disappear into the ground.

This was so embarrassing—how could she have thoughts like that?

But then again, this was Champion Walker. Having such thoughts was only natural.

He was, after all, known as the dream of a billion girls.

"She's so beautiful…"

Gemma murmured as she looked at Milotic, who curiously looked back at her.

It wasn't like she had never seen a Milotic before—one of her elders even had one—but compared to this one, every other Milotic she had seen seemed like a country bumpkin.

This one, on the other hand, was like a regal princess.

That aura, those eyes, that expression—even as a woman, Gemma was completely captivated by it.

A Milotic like this was absolutely irresistible, capable of enchanting both men and women alike. But she was a human, while Milotic was a Pokémon—they weren't even the same species!

"Milo~"

Hearing the praise, Milotic couldn't help but beam with delight.

Gemma, who had just managed to stop her nosebleed, immediately started bleeding again.

"Dee~"

Love quickly handed her a tissue while giving Milotic an exasperated look. "Rein in that charm of yours."

With the "boss" of the household speaking, Milotic immediately restrained its alluring aura. Being scolded like that, it didn't even dare to protest.

Even its trainer didn't dare have any objections to Love—so it certainly wouldn't.

Shrinking back, it dove into the bottom of the pond again.

Inside this pond, Julian had planted many Water Moon Grass.

Water Moon Grass could purify the water and also increase the concentration of Water-type energy.

Though it was called a pond, it was actually quite large. Apart from Milotic, there were many other Water-type Pokémon living there, most of which had been raised by the family over time.

There was quite a variety, but the most numerous were Magikarp—and these Magikarp were significantly larger than normal ones.

They had been caught by Jake. Throwing them away seemed like a waste, so whenever he caught large-sized Magikarp, he would just toss them all into this pond.

Every single Magikarp here had grown plump and strong, and among them was even a white Magikarp.

While regular Magikarp weren't worth much, a shiny Magikarp was quite valuable—each one typically sold for over five million.

And this white Magikarp was arguably the proudest achievement of Jake's fishing career, bar none.

When he first caught it, he had posted about it on social media for several days straight, even uploading videos on TikTok, and constantly showing it off in fishing groups.

If not for his status, he would've probably taken that white Magikarp out to stroll through the streets of Lake City, proudly showing it off everywhere.

Looking at the abundance of Water Moon Grass in the pond, Gemma was once again amazed.

For Water-type trainers, this was an extremely valuable resource. With it, they could create an environment where their Water-type Pokémon could both recover energy and grow stronger.

Basically like letting their Pokémon live in a luxury villa.
