Pokémon: My Parallel World Daughters Revealed

Chapter 356: Diantha’s Intentions Are Obvious to Everyone

The video continued playing.

Selene pinched Aurelia’s cheeks again and tugged them from side to side.

It was soft, springy and dangerously addictive.

Aurelia finally reached the limit of her patience and slapped her hand away.

"Are you done messing around?"

"I was just making sure you’re real."

Selene rubbed the back of her reddened hand.

"Big Sis, isn’t being Champion supposed to keep you really busy?"

"Why are you slacking off in a place like this?"

Aurelia reached out and rubbed Selene’s head.

Then her gaze shifted toward the Egg in her arms.

"This is...?"

"Oh, some big bat called Lunala gave it to me."

Selene lifted the Egg slightly.

"It also helped my Kirlia evolve into Gardevoir."

"It’s just a shame I didn’t get the chance to convince it to invest before it kicked me back out."

"Hm..."

"Looking at it that way, our experiences were actually pretty similar."

Aurelia rested a hand against her chin.

Selene blinked.

"Big Sis, you met a big bat too?"

"...No."

"I met a Legendary Pokémon called Solgaleo."

"It also gave me a Pokémon Egg and bestowed a sun mark on Gallade."

As she spoke, Aurelia took out an Egg covered in golden patterns.

Selene immediately leaned her head closer.

"Big Sis, do you think a little bat is going to hatch out of mine?"

"I don’t know."

Aurelia placed a hand on Selene’s head and pushed her eager face backward.

"But I think we should tell Dad about this first."

"Oh."

Selene stood on tiptoe and looked around.

"Right, Big Sis."

"Where are my three star employees?"

"Don’t tell me they all got buried down here."

"Don’t worry."

"I already had Latios take them back to the surface."

Aurelia placed a hand on Selene’s shoulder.

"Let’s go home first."

Blue light flashed.

The two sisters disappeared from the underground chamber.

Outside Saffron Gym.

The moment the sisters appeared, they saw a brown-haired woman being physically pushed out through the Gym doors by Sabrina.

Sabrina’s patience had clearly reached its limit.

Her black hair had already begun floating on its own, and blue psychic light glowed within her red eyes.

"Sabrina, you really misunderstood!"

Diantha had one hand braced against the doorframe while one foot stubbornly remained wedged across the threshold.

"I genuinely only came here because I want Asher to play the magician in my movie!"

"Just let me inside!"

"...Husband-stealing cat."

"Not welcome."

"It was just one charity performance where Asher and I walked the red carpet together!"

Diantha protested.

"How does that make me a husband-stealing cat?!"

Even while arguing, she didn’t forget to wave the script cover in front of Sabrina’s face.

"And look at the title!"

The Magician and the Psychic Queen!

"Just from the name alone, you can tell it’s a perfectly respectable production!"

"The female lead was practically written around your entire image and personality!"

"I’m being incredibly sincere here!"

"You stood too close to him that time."

Sabrina expressionlessly glanced at the script.

"I didn’t like it."

"And why is it another romance movie?"

"Because the two of you are a romance movie!"

The corner of Diantha’s lips curved upward.

"This is called artistic reinterpretation."

"My original intention is to spread the love story between you and Asher!"

"To let the entire world learn about your earth-shaking, heaven-moving romance!"

Snap.

Sabrina raised one hand.

Diantha and her script immediately floated into the air under psychic power.

"Hey, hey, hey!"

"Sabrina!"

"We can talk this out!"

"Worst case, I’ll let you play the second female lead!"

[VIP Chat Group]

[Elesa]: Hahahaha! So Diantha failed to win the guy, turned his love story with someone else into a screenplay, and then cast herself as the heroine so she could self-insert?

[Shauntal]: I’d bet anything that the second female lead Diantha mentioned is modeled after Diantha herself. Then in the movie, she and Sabrina basically swap roles so Diantha can finally enjoy what it feels like to be the winner.

[Gardenia]: Good lord. That’s not self-inserting anymore. That’s straight-up body snatching.

[Lorelei]: As expected of an award-winning actress. She really knows how to play.

[Skyla]: Master really is incredible. Even when she’s the losing heroine, she manages to lose with style.

[Diantha]: Say whatever you want. I’ve already gotten the real thing in reality. Sabrina was the latecomer.

[Sabrina]: ...

[Valerie]: Hahaha! After watching so many episodes, parallel-world Miss Sabrina might genuinely have it the hardest. Lorelei was watching from the front, and Diantha is relentlessly pursuing from behind. Each romantic rival is harder to deal with than the last.

[Viola]: Now that you mention it, that’s true. At least Lorelei knows when to back off. Diantha came straight to her front door.

[Misty]: Diantha’s intentions are obvious to everyone.

[Steven]: Can’t be helped. Brother Asher is simply too charming. Think about it. Handsome, great with children, and he even knows Arceus. Who wouldn’t fall for a man with qualifications like that?

[Volkner]:@Steven, Daily Asher Praise (1/1) ?

[Raihan]: There it is. Balance has been restored. Now I can sleep peacefully tonight.

The video continued playing.

"Selene, I don’t think we came back at a very good time."

"Maybe we should wait a little before—"

Aurelia didn’t even get to finish.

Selene shot forward like a gust of wind.

"Aunt Diantha."

Selene immediately pointed her phone at Diantha floating in midair.

Click.

She took a photo.

"That’s a pretty unique pose you’ve got there."

"Want me to take a few more for you as souvenirs?"

"Selene!"

Diantha twisted around in midair to look at her.

"Perfect timing!"

"Quick, help your godmother persuade your mom!"

"This screenplay is genuinely a respectable production!"

"Um..."

"Aunt Diantha, I don’t remember ever accepting you as my godmother."

Diantha elegantly brushed back her hair despite still floating in midair.

"That’s fine."

"You can accept me right now."

"I’m not picky."

"..."

Aurelia walked over as well.

She gave Diantha a complicated look, then turned toward Sabrina.

"Mom."

"We’re back."

Seeing that both daughters had returned safely, Sabrina withdrew her psychic power.

Then she turned and walked into the Gym.

"Good."

"Come inside first."

Selene didn’t immediately follow.

Instead, she bent down and picked up the script Diantha had dropped.

She casually glanced over the page and her eyes instantly widened.

Written clearly across it was:

"Under the moonlight, Magician Asher gently cups Psychic Queen Nana’s face in his hands and tenderly recites the incantation: ’My magic works for you alone.’"

Selene silently stuffed the script back into Diantha’s hands.

"Aunt Diantha."

"The fact that my mom didn’t turn you into a doll after reading this is already her showing Dad a lot of consideration."

Diantha’s smile didn’t waver in the slightest.

"This is nothing."

"Flip the page over."

"There’s a kissing scene on the back."

Selene looked down and flipped the page.

Then silently closed the script again.

She gave Diantha a thumbs-up.

"You really are something else."

"All right, enough chatting."

"Hurry up and come inside."

Aurelia walked back out through the doorway and directly grabbed Selene by the back of her collar.

"Hey, hey, hey!"

"Big Sis!"

"I can walk by myself!"

After dragging Selene inside, Aurelia turned back and gave Diantha a small nod.

"Aunt Diantha."

"You can come in too."
