Chapter 1401 - 650: Byron Forged in the Desert Furnace, Divine Position of Deceit Finally Obtained

  • Next Chapter

The luxurious bathroom that was once filled with traces of delight instantly transformed into the borderland between barren mountains and desert.

Beneath was an endless expanse of rolling sand sea, which, when blown by the strong wind, immediately caused a "crackle" as sand and stones splashed.

In the yellow sand stood countless blade-like thin peaks, becoming sharper as they’re constantly honed by the limitless wind and sand.

A blood-red sun, with an internal outline of a sleeve sword’s phantom, hung high in the sky, casting a sullied rust color over the entire world.

The 35th generation Mountain Elder, Assassin, descended into the Mirror World ahead of Byron and Amita.

As soon as his feet touched this desert, he raised his hand towards the [assassination] divine position in the sky, throwing all seven Resentful Coins the Assassin Sect had taken seven hundred years to recover.

The inscriptions: "Only care about the goal, by any means necessary!" lit up.

In the blinding Divine Light, all seven coins melted, transforming into seven slender crescent blades revolving around the [assassination] divine position.

They looked like seven scarlet crescents orbiting the sun.

However, because there was still one last assassination that had not been completed, the light of the seventh scarlet crescent was noticeably dimmer than the other six blades.

With the gathering of [Light God] and [Dark God] as opposing symbols of one entity, the entire Mirror World experienced a strong sense of weightlessness, as if rapidly rising from deep water.

The "illusory" feeling of "mirror flowers and moon" also quickly dissipated, becoming increasingly similar to the real world.

This meant the Divine Kingdom was ascending!

However, this Mirror World, compared to the Divine Kingdom that Byron and the two Queens had assembled with the three elements of "Material", "Energy", and "Information", was clearly a notch lower.

At the same time, during the ascension of the Divine Kingdom, the entire Mirror World was completely confined.

Regardless of whether it was the owner of the mirror or the prisoner imprisoned, no one could leave early, and only the victor could walk out alive.

Swish! Swish!

Byron and Amita followed closely behind the Mountain Elder, falling into the mirror.

In Amita’s altered perception, she was always fused with Byron, as the Strange Arts [Shadow Nether Cave] directly drew all essence and Spirituality from the other party’s body.

Their monstrous physical strength and Spirituality, like mountains entering the sea, made her "Nether Cave" somewhat overwhelmed, causing waves of swelling and pain.

She finally breathed a little easier upon entering the mirror, immediately separating again.

Endless shadows around her transformed into flowing black liquid, enveloping her body to form a pure black tight-fitting outfit outlining her graceful curves.

At this moment, Amita cloaked herself in shadows that absorbed even light, not reflecting at all, making her a humanoid black hole.

It looked as if a gracefully curved piece of the world was forcibly removed from the background wall, creating a visual distortion.

This was her Strange Arts [Shadow Nether Cave].

Perhaps it was due to the extreme compatibility with the Authority of Dark God Angola Manu that she awakened this exceptionally powerful unique Strange Art:

"Able to freely manipulate shadows into weapons, spells, and use the ultimate darkness to create a Nether Cave that devours everything, material, energy, even souls.

It could compress in energy form and be released again, or turn any being consumed into loyal shadow servants.

The Mountain Elder was previously hiding in her shadow space."

Originally, Amita should have struck Byron’s neck while he was "most vulnerable", a common tactic female assassins employed to complete assassinations in bed.

Yet she hesitated in her heart, merely wiped away the tears on her face, then flickered away swiftly.

She glanced at the Mountain Elder standing in the sea of sand and noticed he had just set up the Demigod Ceremony before he looked up at her.

Not witnessing the scene where she and Byron were entangled, she could not help but breathe a slight sigh of relief amidst her blushing:

"Luckily, my [Shadow Nether Cave] shields the perception inside and outside the shadows, preventing the Assassin from seeing the scene between me and His Majesty Saint Byron.

He only rushed out upon my signal.

The intelligence clearly stated that His Majesty Saint Byron had only two Queens, never any lover, but why is he so proficient in matters of love?

What with Fish Scale, Sky Flipping Butterfly, Sea Eagle Soaring, Crane Neck... even forming such a systematic routine from this ’knowledge’, how extensive is his experience?

This Saint Byron isn’t quite the ’good person’ I initially thought he was.

However, even if he is a bad person, he’s a... very agreeable bad person.

Moreover, His Majesty Saint Byron praised me as excellent from start to finish, more praise than I’ve ever received since childhood in just one evening."

All of this was Amita’s subconscious reaction in her heart.

She completely failed to realize that her perspective seemed to have drastically shifted.

The Mountain Elder Assassin was her fiancé, and Byron was merely her mission target.

Although the series of memories and experiences in her mind all came from an alternate timeline that never actually occurred, it was indistinguishable from having actually done it herself, even gods couldn’t find any flaws.

Yet, just this false memory quietly instigated some profound changes within her heart.

Who would she allow to view her body henceforth?

Saint Byron could!

Assassin could not!

Originally, under the arrangement of her Assassin teacher, the previous generation Mountain Elder, Amita was betrothed to this generation’s Mountain Elder.
