Pirate Kingship
Chapter 1396 - 648: Princess Kazal, the Most Beautiful Princess; Princess Amita, the Ugliest Princess (Part 4)
He possesses virtues such as light, life, creation, and is also the incarnation of heavenly laws, order, and truth.
Ahura created fire, which is the "infinite light," hence Zoroastrianism considers fire worship their sacred duty.
This sect is monotheistic, while also emphasizing dual opposition.
The other side of God [Dark God] Angra Mainyu is the highest god of the evil realm, constantly opposing [Light God] Ahura Mazda of the good realm.
Ahura Mazda created sixteen good countries, whereas Angra Mainyu created sixteen evil countries;
Ahura Mazda created a series of angels to embody goodness, while Angra Mainyu created snakes, fierce dragons, and other unclean creatures...
"The light and dark opposition of that Seventh Order Main God has evidently left a profound imprint on this land.
Even though the whole Silver Era is gradually coming to a close, there are still subtle remnants.
The most apparent feature is that the aesthetic value here favors masculinity, and women have a particularly high likelihood of giving birth to twins.
Moreover, whether it’s a boy or a girl, likely one will be ruggedly masculine, while the other will be delicately beautiful.
One fitting the collective aesthetic lives smoothly, while the other, considered ’ugly,’ becomes marginalized and endures disdain from those around them.
The extremes represented by [The Most Beautiful Princess] and [ugliest princess] are typical examples."
As he followed the Desert Eagle Nasser Din into the banquet hall, Byron already had a preliminary understanding of the state of this nation.
Without showing it on his face, he went straight to join the banquet, enjoying the local specialty cuisine.
The Fire Worship Empire had prepared a very grand banquet for him.
Only he needed to adhere to some religious taboos that had been previously notified to him:
"No drinking alcohol, nor can one offer a toast, not even with a substitute beverage.
Prohibited from eating pork, as well as ugly or unclean creatures like turtles and crabs, and not eating animals that have died.
When hunting wild game, the hunter will quickly cut the throat of the prey before the blood coagulates; otherwise, it cannot be eaten."
The various dishes were indeed quite remarkable.
The famous West Coast roast meats used lamb, beef, or chicken, marinated in special spices and roasted on a grill or spit until the surface is golden and the inside tender, served with rice and bread, being very delicious.
The locals were completely unafraid of the heat, directly tearing off a small piece of meat strip and dish with their hands and placing it in their mouths, ensuring that their fingers didn’t touch their lips according to the etiquette.
"Your Majesty, please enjoy."
The West Coast is not an isolated Southern Continent, and interaction with the East Coast isn’t just a matter of a day or two.
To cater to Byron’s dining habits, they specifically placed cutlery like knives and forks in front of him and his entourage.
The main course was a whole roast camel.
The method was also exceptionally straightforward and brutal; they hollowed out the camel’s innards, stuffed a lamb inside, then a chicken inside the lamb, with a quail inside the chicken, and finally, an egg inside the quail.
Like a nesting doll, it’s considered complete once cooked.
Although it looked grand, even with a lot of valuable spices added, the taste was somewhat indescribable.
[Desert Eagle] personally presented a whole roasted camel hump to Byron.
But when he took the first bite, he found it fresh; the second bite was a bit gamey, acceptable in a pinch, but far from delicious.
The roast whole lamb, however, tasted quite good.
They took a plump and tender lamb, removed the head and feet, hollowed the innards, stuffed it with rice, raisins, almonds, olives, pine nuts, and other dried fruits and seasonings, and roasted it on a high flame.
It was both tender and fragrant, with a delicious flavor.
Byron managed to eat an entire one himself.
During the banquet, songs and dances were naturally indispensable.
Yet, those dancers with similar width and height, flaunting themselves in the center of the banquet hall, were truly unappetizing.
Though not all were "beautiful" to the extent of being bearded like Princess Kazal, they were nonetheless immensely robust.
Only the [ugliest princess] Amita, attending by his side and occasionally casting gentle, affectionate glances at him, slightly alleviated the glaring, tragic scene for him.
Byron endured the stomachache, persisting until the end of the banquet, and was then led to enjoy the very famous steam bath of the West Coast.
The royal bathroom, fully tiled with ceramics, was very luxurious, available tonight for his sole use.
In the middle of the night, Byron didn’t extend his [Divine Sight] to see other bathrooms, because although it couldn’t be detected by others, it was truly immoral.
He didn’t know how long he soaked, and just when he was getting drowsy in the warm water, he suddenly heard the sound of water beside his ear.
Another person had slipped naked into his bath.
"A woman?!"
Suddenly recalling his daytime speculation, he immediately shuddered awake.
"Is that old thing Nasser Din trying to let [The Most Beautiful Princess] Kazal marry me tonight?"
